Polarity Electrics provided a cable run from my fuse box to the rear of my property to provide power for a hot tub. The communication prior to the work was excellent and I was kept in the loop at all times. The tradesmen who attended were punctual, professional and friendly. Work was completed to an excellent standard and the price was as originally quoted. I would happily use Polarity Electrics again.

Very prompt and friendly workers. When they couldn't do the full job they called the office and job was repriced immediately.
Didn't get a 5 star only because the new price agreed was not sent to Local Hero's immediately so they keep sending me an invoice to pay that was incorrect.

Electrician came spent an hour checking the fuse box only and told me I needed a complete rewire (did no checking of plugs/circuits) I was told the company would send a quote (not received) I also phoned (they apologized for not responding) and was told that I would receive a quote with in the next few days (never received). I also had another electrician out to quote for a rewire and he immeadiately told me I would be able to move back in the same day. He found and isolated the break within 1-1.5hours so after two weeks I was able to move back home. As you can imagine I was not pleased with Polarity electrics

Requested an electrical inspection on a property I'm in the process of purchasing. Communication was good and the inspection arranged promptly. Report came back after 7 days and was comprehensive with a detailed quote for remedial work. I did ask for a follow up quote for full rewiring and despite chasing a couple of times I never received it.

Jamie, the electrician, was clear, courteous, and efficient. I am satisfied that my requirements were met.

They came when they said they would and did what they were asked to do - pleasantly - what more could you ask ?

Electrician was 1 hour late, I was only called when he was about 10mins away. Despite being told that the work I required was to be done on a plasterboard wall he had none of the correct fixings. Electrician went out to get the correct fixings and broke down so my TV is still in its box! Maybe I just had bad luck but I would suggest in future it might not be a bad idea to call prospective clients beforehand to properly scope out the job as he seemed concerned about the wall, the TV bracket I had bought and the chasing of the cables through the wall - I had provided all of this info (barring the make of TV bracket which I was not asked for) when I booked the job.

Jamie arrived on time on a Sunday morning bright and breezy , as I needed a outside electrical socket for my Christmas decorations and other things through out the year .
Did a great job with minimal noise and cleared up afterwards.
Will use next year for the same thing on the other side of the house .

I received a text today confirming that my job which I posted on the British Gas website for a supplier - only this company was identified with a phone call to follow shortly.
I am still waiting for the phone call. It does appear that I will have to cancel the.booking made when I have no idea of the total bill - which based on an estimate is more than the quote from British Gas!!!!

Truly amazing just how difficult it is to identify and find a reliable electrician in London!

As the electrician had "called in sick" and they could not find a replacement and couldn't rebook for a week so we are still waiting, I think one star rating is generous.
