I was worried about the process but this was so fast and easy!

I have used them for homeowners insurance. The price and policy were good. Much like others here have said. Customer service is non-existent after you purchase the policy. They don't return secure messages in the customer portal. You can't talk to anyone on the phone you can only leave a message that they never return. I did not renew my homeowner's policy as the rate went up WAY too much. I started a new policy with progressive. My mortgage company paid for both policies. So Policy genius got my $3,000 that I now own the Mortgage company. Yet Policy Genius will not give me my money back as you can't get in contact with anyone.

Update Dec 2024. Policygenius contacted me 2 weeks later and refunded me my money.

Policygenius gave comprehensive list of top Life Insurance companies and quotes for each one, without the hassle of reaching out to each company separately. Advisor was very knowledgeable, polite, and helped me find the best policy for me.

Excellent job processing the application in a timely manner. Took 16 days from online application to approval. Reps were very professional and helped with the application and answering questions on the policy and getting it set up. I tried another insurance broker and they were still messing around after 2 months. Customer service at Policy Genius is top notch. Got a good policy with a A+ rated company for a reasonable price.

Great experience and helpful with any questions I had

The initial quote and the final quote after approval with carrier was very different. Monthly premium costs went up by ~$13 from what was quoted initially. I would have like liked to be advised to apply with more than one carrier at the same time so I have more than one offer to compare.
