Extremely high fees. Do NOT use it

if you have crypto and want to trade it. use another platform. poloniex used to be good but now no. they block my crypto for months and telling oh we have problem in wallet. they literally steal my crypto

They hide coin Withdrawal Fees and don't show in website and app, because withdrawal fees are too much.

So for a few years all was fine, I'll give them that. However, I intercepted an attempt by a bad actor to access my account. I followed all the instructions, opened new account , went through a rigorous I.D . process sent
photo of me holding up a sign asking them to transfer my funds to my new account as instructed. I was told at the end of this process it would take 2 -4 weeks to process and transfer my funds to new account . It is now almost 6 weeks on and nothing . Ignoring my emails . About 6K out of pocket and being ignored. After reading reviews here I think its time to shut these guys down. Rating wise I Would give five red flags if I had the option but looks like I have to offer up a star to submit the review.
Of course if Poloniex does the right thing, and restores my assets I will commend them for itand edit this review to reflect that.
Until then I will steer people away from this platform.

Worst Exchange ever. They just delist (steal) your crypto, so you can't access your coins anymore. Helpdesk is totally non supportive. Just lost 2.000 euro's worth of crypto to them.
DONT USE POLONIEX, THEY STEAL YOUR CRYPTO!!!

6th March a ETH deposit was sent to Poloniex but i still don't see it in my wallet in spite of the transaction was successfull.
19th March I posted a ticket but for today i just recieved from the support : "... I have passed this case to the team that is able to assist you." and no more further actions.

UPD. Few days later the problem has been fixed.

Poloniex froze my account with more thousands of $. They asked me to verify my account, what I allredy do somewhere in 2019. Now they let me to log in, to check balance, and I got verified my account, but the account is frozen for trading and withdrawing. I contacted
support, sent again my id, name, etc, but nothing, the account is still frozen. They askes me about account ownership, just I don't know why, because I was the owner from the begining, and stil I'm the owner. Also ask them two times to enable it, just to withdraw my funds and to close the account, but now more than a week no feedback from them. Verry,verry bad experience with this exhange. Two year ago I lost money because of this, and now again! Verry unprofessional!

Poloniex finally released my funds after 1 1/2 weeks of waiting. Changing from 1 star to 3 stars. Not good enough!

Poloniex froze my account without reason and asked me to re-verify using their app. I have been waiting well over one week now with no reply.

Before the freeze, I managed to withdraw half my funds. I still have thousands locked with them.

I originally verified with them many years ago. I have traded many, many times on their platform. No problems with them taking fees!

Now they have gone all quite.

Kindly do not use this Exchange for trade, they are not supporting for any kind of human mistake, i sent some xvg to doge address, but they did not support. But if they want they can. I lost my 31000.00XVG around. I never get good support for right effort on this to get back those coins from doge network. Have NEO coins stuck on Poloniex because they decided to delist and not give the money back. As i was unable to withdraw being in the Hospital....
Please search the pattern, they do this often and many many ppl have lost their coins like this.

Warning! Poloniex is a scam exchange. They delist mainstream assets such as DGB and illigally confiscate people's balances. This happened to me, I was a top tier user and have since removed all my assets from this exchange. I've spoken to a few other victims who are uniting. Poloniex used to be a decent and sizable exchange but is now run by a scam gang. Be warned.

You should avoid this exchange at all costs. The fees are roughly 10% on a deposit and withdrawal (so 20% fees). Once on the exchange you are basically stuck there. The slippage is a big issue too.

Unfortunately, there is not a way to transfer a delisted asset out of your Poloniex account at this time. When a currency gets delisted, the Poloniex node is no longer synced to the currency's network which makes withdrawals impossible.

Please keep in mind that we announce all delistings and timelines for removing tokens from our exchange in an email sent to every customer who held a balance in said token. We also posted on Twitter, in our Help Center, and the Notices section.

Once the timeline passed, deposits and withdrawals were disabled for this asset. Your balance is now archived and no longer available for withdrawal.

Our terms state that we have the ability to delist assets at any time, but if we ever decide to re-list a previously delisted coin, we will be sure to contact all customers with an old balance.

polonidex - their trc20dex has stolen so much money from their users and they just keep saying - we will fix it soon. they dont care to help

Still struggling with withdrawing my crypto from it. Their customer support answers are really slow so it is already half of a year for me just chatting without any chance to cash out looks like...
