Michael painted the outside of my house which included fiddly window panes and rendered brickwork. He was meticulous, courteous and very professional with high working standards and, important to me, didn't have a radio blaring while working. I am more than happy to recommend him to other potential customers and look forward to him doing some inside work later in the year

Had Michael back to my house a short while ago, this time to emulsion paint the ceilings and walls to the hall, stairs and landing.
Michael as ever arrived on both the day and time we had agreed. He began by explaining what work he was going to do and it's sequence.
Michael spent a lot of time meticulously covering the flooring and carpets as well as the areas of paintwork which he wasn't painting.
His preparation is thorough with sanding and filling as required. Even though he sanded all of the walls he is able to do this without creating any dust.
The finish of the painting was excellent.
Michael even constructed a platform out of plywood on which to place his ladder so that he could access the high junction between the ceiling and walls over the stairwell for "cutting in"between the two surfaces.

All in all a good job well done and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michael to anyone.

Michael is a fantastic decorator who has helped me totally transform the look of the building here in Danbury, Essex. He takes the time to think about what will work over the long term and ensures that the job he does is durable.

Michael has decorated our living room and hallway / landing to a very high standard, and he provided very clear options and recommendations to obtain the best visual results. Michael the posh painter has done a lovely job painting the weatherboard on our house. It looked like a tricky job at times given the high apex over the garage and the loft extension but he did a smashing job. Courteous and professional at all times and even made a fuss of our made dogs. Would recommend

Michael has just completed redecorating my hall, stairs and landing. The results are brilliant. He has completed other work for me, including redecoration of kitchen and bedroom, plus the repainting of the exterior of my house, all of which have been completed to a high standard.
Michael is reliable, trustworthy and very easy to work with. All his techniques are aimed at producing a great result, including an amazing sander which collects all the dust!!
I have no hesitation in recommending him to you.

Michael painted the internals in our house. He did an incredibly thorough job working long hours to make sure it was completed on time and finish high standard . One of the walls was very difficult due to the way the wall paper had been put on previously but Michael did an amazing job and we were incredibly happy. On top of his work he is tidy, friendly and polite. We highly recommend Michael and will definitely be calling on him again when we want to redecorate.

Met the posh painter by chance and enquired about painting a ceiling which was a bit smeary. Michael inspected the ceiling and advised that the problem was easily rectified. I enquired about the guarantee and he advised that if we were not happy he would persevere until we were.
After painting we were all unsure about the finish so he promised to phone the following Friday with a view to coming back and giving another coat, he didn’t bother phoning.
Well we are now out of pocket by £325 and the ceiling is worse than it was before he came. In his words, the light is catching the first coat of paint put on by the previous painter and his diary is full so he hopes we find another decorator.
So much for a guarantee, we are now out of pocket with a worse ceiling and he really does not care.
Talks good but works bad.
