Couldn't get a Monzo account unfortunately due to my address. Was recommended to use the Post Office Travel App (as I didn't want to use Revolut) and I have to say my experience was smooth sailing! Ma... See more

I had my card blocked well over 7 days ago. I have sent multiple emails and several phonecalls later and still have my money in a blocked account. I provided transactional proof, id and statements and still have no access to my account. Avoid at all costs unless you want your money locked into a card you cannot get. I have contacted financial ombudsman and will take to social media to name and shame. And no, please don't reply saying call us to resolve because you don't resolve they just ignore you.

First time I had this card was a few years ago and never ahd an issue. Got a new card to travel to Switzerland, japan and Singapore. It was the only thing that ruined my holidays! Unablt use the app to transfer money in at all!!! Despite speaking to customet service, which was no problem calling them and talking to them. The major drawback is the app itself. It keeps saying unable to fetch exchange rates and I always have to re link tha card!!!! Cost me fortune on international transaction fees. Never again! This is now a waste of time....If you want a stress free holiday, use an alternative!

Due to a suppliers system being hacked we were scammed out of a, small, sum of money. The PO contact 'phone was answered promptly and the assistant helpful.
The claim, a refund and a replacement card all dealt with within a week.

Excellent card to use in Tunisia 🇹🇳
You can exchange pounds and euros when paying as Tunisia is a closed country with currency. This card was wonderful to pay for meals. Also very good in large store or supermarket.

Terrible customer service. I've requested support for the last 6 months and haven't received any notification other than the automated response. Not happy at all.

I made a balance transfer based on the offer.
The offer was 0% interest for a period of time with 2.9% fees.
There was no time period mentioned. I made the transfer around 8th of May.
My bank statement showed an interest, I phoned Capital one and they said if you dont make a further purchase no interest will be charged, later they kept charging.
I called them again and they said the offer was only if you made a transfer before April 17th.
There was no such thing written on the offer that I was given.
I called them and someone named Sushmita listened to my query and kept repeating the same thing that the offer was only valid if a transfer was made before April 17th.
I asked them why this was not told to me, she had no answer.
I have been robbed of my money, fraudulent service. I lost almost £70 because of this.
Will never use post office or capital one again. Misleading and fraudulent.

I found the Travel Card really excellent in Japan where cash is used a lot. I was able to withdraw what I required on a daily basis. I also preferred using this type of card to a credit card, I felt more in control of my spending. The app was very good for checking my balance. Switching currency was very easy as well.
My only issue is, when I try to add it to my Apple Wallet I am not receiving a verification code and the response from customer services has been to tell me to just keep trying. I have done so numerous times to no avail.
After writing this review I contacted customer services again and the member of staff explained there was an issue adding the card to Apple Wallet and it had to be done manually. This did the trick.

Unfortunately I CANNOT recommend using the Post Office Travel Money Card and would advise anyone contemplating getting one, to think very carefully before doing so. When I attempted to top up my card using the Post Office Travel Card app on three occasions when I was abroad, on each occasion a message along the lines of "unable to take payment" and "try again later" was displayed. I tried again a few hours later and it was successful, however, despite my previous unsuccessful attempts to top up, I saw that my Travel Card had been topped up THREE times. I immediately emailed them to rectify this urgently as I did not want my current account to be overdrawn. I still have not received response to my email. Furthermore, the leaflet supplied with the Post Office Travel Card makes no mention of having to register the card before leaving the UK.
