Couldn't get a Monzo account unfortunately due to my address. Was recommended to use the Post Office Travel App (as I didn't want to use Revolut) and I have to say my experience was smooth sailing! Ma... See more

Haven’t been able to complete a top up again as it won’t connect to my bank to approve the transfer
I’ve tried tapping the app and text message on the security page but neither work
I haven’t been in holiday yet but I’m not convinced it will work when I try to spend the euros I’ve loaded on to it
I’ve now signed up to a Wise card and that works fine
I wish I’d never purchased the post office card.

Ease of use and the fact that I can top-up in the app wherever I am. I’ve used this card for years now and have never had any major issues. It has so many currencies all in one place. Happy traveller. 🤗

Cannot transfer money between cards. Once money is on a card there is no easy way to get money back off the card. Charged over £3 to change £8 from one currency to another so left with just over four Francs. Last card paid for in post office over a week ago still not showing in the App despite contacting customer services, they said it should show within 48 hours. They will be half way through the holiday before the last prepaid card can be used. Cant recommend Post Office Travel Card.

Absolutely appalling service I bought a card with nine days to go before I needed to give it to my nephew. Nine days. He said it would be delivered within 2 to 3 days first of all I don’t understand why our money Card isn’t sent by recorded delivery it’s a money card but whatever. It hasn’t arrived didn’t arrive on time their solution when I asked them what they would do about it is to have to go and buy a card from a post office for £10 and then they will transfer the money over so their solution to me not receiving a card that I had ordered when they promised to deliver within two days was to spend £10 on a new card.
So just bear that in mind if you’re thinking of buying a card from Travel post office services don’t bother

It's very useful to use a card, when I visit Australia, that's easy to use for making payments in most places and can be topped up quickly. It's a safe way to make payments.

Brilliant service and a knowledgeable team member that really helped me to understand the account and ways to use it.

The only comment I have is that in some places there is a commission to pay to use the card which is beyond your remit , only downside.
