Ease of use when abroad and accepted as any other card. Highly recommended

I ordered a Post Office travel card well in time for my vacation.
Card arrived in 5 days.
I had to load up the scanned QR app.
That went well until I attempt to login with my email address.
"Email address not recognised"
This is despite already receiving an email to confirm my initial purchase money had been received and a new account / receipt number.
Several attempts later, I gave up.
Not fit for purpose.
I am very glad I only deposited a small amount to start the card off (#20.00).

It was really good to use and so easy to top up on holiday. Can’t wait to use it again.

Havent used card yet got for holiday in september

Declines for no reason despite sufficient funds. Don’t use this as your only form of payment as you’ll get stuck with no money on holiday. I’ve used it before and it’s been fine but my previous 2 holidays it’s been shocking.

While the card was very user friendly with easy top ups and visibility of transactions almost immediate there were problems after the second year with hidden transaction fees when card topups done with a credit card ( none with debit card) This was unexpected and defeated the purpose of the post office card which was supposed to help avoid these costs !

My 15 year old daughter took the card on holiday with her and her friends parents and she tried to use it but it wouldn't work. I had used it previously on holiday with no issues. She rang me and when I contacted The Post Office, they said the card had been blocked and couldn't give me a reason why. They said to unblock it, I had to send copies of my bank statement showing transactions where I'd paid money onto the card. They wouldn't accept cropped copies , said I had to send full copies with all of my bank details on them. I'd never get one of these cards ever again incase it gets blocked again for no reason and I'm then stuck abroad with no access to the money.

The man that sold it to me in thePost Office lied about the card and I'm still waiting to get my moneyback. Would never use this for a travel card!

Love this money card so much. I could even spend the euros that were not spent on the card in shops in England and online
