Great device

This device is very helpful to my lung condition, (once you get the knack of doing it correctly). Just read the instructions a few times then you get it. Delivery was very good and efficient.

Oh, that's wonderful to hear, Mrs Clarke. Thank you so much for letting us know.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Mrs Clarke and we're sorry to hear that you feel the device doesn't work.

The Respiron was reviewed independently in the Daily Mail, by a consultant chest physician who awarded it 9/10, as it is a great respiratory muscle training device for people with a weak diaphragm, helping to strengthen the breathing muscles and maintain lung function.

Did you adjust the resistance, as it's this that provides the challenge to your inspiration as you breathe in through the device? There are 4 levels for you to try, starting at 0, the easiest.

Here's a quick training protocol that may help:

- Body position: you can train while sitting down or standing up.
- Training: hold your device and forcefully INHALE through the mouthpiece.
- Goal: to make the three coloured balls float.
- Training duration: try to repeat this a few times.

Repeat this breathing exercise daily.

And remember that the Respiron has 4 levels of resistance: 0 (easy); 1 (average); 2 (difficult) and 3 (very difficult). You should start at level 0 and advance to the next level when the exercise no longer challenges you.

The power breathe was delivered within three days. It came with easy to follow instructions. I have been using it for nearly a month and can already feel an improvement in my breathing. I can feel the benefits already when out walking as do not get as much out of breath when tackling up hill paths.

Not your fault at all

Not your fault at all, but unfortunately my husband's breathing problems are so bad that he is unable to complete the exercise. Sadly, the device is still in the box and is unused.

That's wonderful to hear! Well done! The scientifically established protocol showed that when followed (30 breaths, twice a day), you should feel a difference in your breathing strength and stamina after 4-6 weeks, so you're spot on with your training. Thank you so much for sharing your review.

Thank you for your review, Rita. Good work on embarking on your training. Remember that whatever you manage to do, you will be making a difference. And it will be a challenge for someone with COPD, so I'd suggest starting on level 0 to begin with.

Do not order from this site

I’m very disappointed as I have not received the product. Pretty sure that this site is a scam. It’s been a few weeks since ordering and there’s no status update or dispatch or tracking information. Extremely frustrated

Hi Paul, please be assured that we are a genuine company, with a genuine interest in caring for our customers, and I have therefore investigated this for you.

The order that you placed on the 26th of November was dispatched the very next day via Royal Mail, on the 27th of November. We sent you an email with the tracking details for your order on the 27th of November (please check your spam/junk folder if you cannot see it in your Inbox), but we've just checked that for you, and your parcel hasn't moved from the Romford Mail Office since the 28th of November. Royal Mail simply state on your tracking, that your parcel is being sent to your local delivery office. Although the hold-up is with Royal Mail, I will ask our Customer Service team to follow this up with you.

I understand from your email to our Customer Service team who contacted Royal Mail for you, that the second model we shipped out to you as a gesture of goodwill has been received by you, along with the first one that was showing as not moving at Royal Mail in Romford. It seems that Royal Mail is not able to meet their performance targets at the moment, which is why you didn't receive your order immediately from them. However, I see the substitute order we sent to you has arrived quickly, and we hope that now you're happy with your order.
