This is the BEST app for European Portuguese! It's pricey but worth it. There are audio and video segments for when i am commuting (and have the most time) and also written lessons to practice. Love it!

Very easy portal to use - Hopefully by November I will be fluent! I sit my A2 then

the best site i found so far to learn portuguese. I could quit my subscription to the end of the month and reactivate it, when i was ready to spend time again.
My account still contained my previous data.

I find the app to be super helpful in learning European Portuguese. There just aren’t a lot of good resources for it. The lessons are very clear and give a mix of speaking, listening and reading. I think that the PP team is also always willing to incorporate feedback from users.

It’s affordable but it’s not cheap so it’s not really for dabblers in the language. You have to have an earnest interest to learn the language. But I think that’s a good thing.

Well worth the money compared to other apps. Well written explanations that actually explain the grammar, and useful language that you will actually use. A good mix of audio and visual aids to really help you understand, and very comprehensive. Amazing value compared to what else is available and specific to European Portuguese rather than Brazilian. This is really great for learning Portuguese. Even for a non-Englishman (Dutch) it is a great way to hear, to understand, to write, to recognize words and grammar. All the visuals, explanations, repititive excercising, etcetera based on an auditive approach makes my learning enjoyable. What a waste following 3-4 years other courses.

Systematic, structurally well-presented information, many activities, and loads of shorties! So far the best self-studying website for European Portuguese I managed to find online.

First super useful app I have found to learn Portuguese from Portugal - like Duolingo but better as it includes way more options - such as podcasts, videos, audio clips to consolidate our knowledge etc! And I like it's organised into A1, A2 etc, helpful for those of us hoping to go for Portuguese citizenship to know where we are :)

O my, o my... The experience and learning possibilities are beyond description. This specific process of studying makes me fall in love with Portuguese even more. I am looking forward to learning, revising, and learning once again every day. I simply can't get enough.

Go at my own speed, small bits of language introduced at a time, listening and repeating words very good, having to go back to a mistake and redo it very useful.

I have taken many Portuguese courses and tried a few online tools, but Practice Portuguese is the one that has consistently helped me at all levels. The features of listening to Portuguese speaking and talking to the tool to improve pronunciation is brilliant.

It's simple to use, and enjoyable. The content is rich and varied, so the learning experience doesn't have to be the same every time you use the site. There's a good balance between the grammar you need to master, and the 'ear-tuning' you need in order to understand Portuguese as spoken by native speakers. I've spent a lot of time in Portuguese classes with other students, and tried a few other Portuguese language courses in print and on CD. PracticePortuguese.com is more effective and engaging than all of them, for me.

I have looked for a good European Portuguese site for a long time and have finally found it at practiceportuguese.com. The lessons are easy to follow, help with speech, listening, and writing, and help build on what you have learned!

Practice Portuguese is a phenomenal resource to learn European Portuguese. There are not a lot of EP resources online, and certainly not as extensive or as helpful as Practice Portuguese.
Highly recommend!!!
Only reason for 4/5 stars is because the website/app can be a little buggy and there are a few minor details I would change to make it a little more interactive.
But overall, excellent app, excellent features. I will be using this resource for most of my language needs!

Although I have gone through the entire program, I still come back for refreshing and practice nearly every day. This is invaluable for learning European Portuguese; an excellent program. I've taught world languages for over 50 years, and this is the best.

Excellent content - humorous and relevant. Easy to navigate and suits all levels up to B2.

I find this site very useful as a tool for listening to spoken European Portuguese - it's very difficult at first to understand spoken Portuguese so having a resource where you listen to phrases etc again and again helps enormously. Specifically, through the various listening exercises and tools provided, it has been possible to correct how I say words following the realisation that no-one has a clue what I'm trying to say.
