The PRA group have been amazing with…

The PRA group have been amazing with helping me to manage my debt. They are always incredibly helpful on the phone, polite and trustworthy. I was absolutely terrified to set up a payment plan initially but my mind was put to rest as soon as I got in contact with the PRA group. They are extremely flexible on repayments and always want to ensure you have enough money to pay your rent/mortgage, bills and other expenses before you make any repayments with them. I’d like to give a special mention to Raj who spoke to me today during my 6 month telephone review who could not have been more supportive, understanding and accommodating. Thank you very much Raj.

Amazing staff . Very pleased with sue


I spoke to a lovely lady called sue today from the PRA group with the most lovely Aussie accent. I was called about a credit card debt I had missed a few payments on due to loosing my job due to ill health. Sue was nothing but understanding and helpful and made me feel so safe and comfortable when talking to her . Sue helped me come to a resolution for my debt and there was no pressure or judgment whatsoever. I had been putting off answering the call for a while as I suffer with anxiety and don’t like talking to new people but today I decided to answer and i don’t think I could’ve wished for anyone else to ring me but sue. What a real gem she is , an absolute credit to your company and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

Great customer service

I called to check my plan and change my address, Daniel was fantasticly helpful, he noted some potential issues or errors and helped make sure everything was sorted before the call ended and also provided me with all needed info to ensure no problems.

So helpful and understanding

I spoke to PRA Group today regarding an old debt and I had been putting off contacting them for months. I spoke to an amazing lady named Sue who was genuinely so patient and understanding, I was so grateful to her by the end of the call. The company have helped me to make a plan moving forward with my debt and there was no pressure or judgment at all. I hope Sue gets the recognition she deserves for helping me today and thanks again

this lot are a bunch of clowns they've been chasing me with text and messages and its not even me they want too speak with. I've informed them they've got the wrong phone number for the person they want, promised to remove from the database, have they NO still leaving voice mails. if it wasn't so pathetic it would be funny all in all a badly run company by circus clowns 😂😂. now to add too it they are asking me for my personal details with a case reference number. I DONT HAVE ONE ITS NOT ME YOU WANT

How dare you apologise to me when you continue to haras me with voice mails and calls day and in the middle of the night. Lowell we're scammed first and decided to sell you, PRA their 02 debt book. Now you are harassing people for non-recoverable debts set up by an O2 insider. I read all about it on Martin Lewis's web pages. Now buzz off!

Praying on the mentally ill

Disgusting company , hounding people day and night with multiple phone numbers for debts that are decades old, and for which they have paid pennies to obtain from the real companies . I am diagnosed with depression and this company made me do something I have never done during my battle through all these years - they made me think about ending it all!. The government needs to overhaul this industry because someone one day, will not be as strong as me, and go through with it. I don't know how the employees can look themselves in the mirror and also sleep at night . Shame on you,

Someone else debt added to my credit score.

Early last year I noticed PRA Group had been added to my credit score, I hadn’t had any letters or communication with them so were confused as to why they’d be showing as a £600ish default on my file. Called them up March 2024 and the man on the phone couldn’t tell me anything over the phone as he was struggling to find any details with my name and info. Received information a couple of weeks later that they had added this default to my file as a mistake and it would be removed. It is now a year and a half later and it has still not been removed from my credit score. I have called up multiple times in this timeframe and been told it’s ‘processing’ and would be removed soon. I even have a case with the financial ombudsman who are also trying to get this removed but no movement as it is clearly not a priority to PRA Group to remove their mistake from my file.

Excellent customer support from PRA Group. They keep in contact regularly, issue easy to read statements, inform me of my various options and rights. Their customer service agents are very friendly, courteous and helpful and always listen and show great understanding. A+++ service.

If I could leave no stars I would

If I could leave no stars I would. I don't usually leave reviews but after submitting a complaint following an awful call last October, I have just received a reply basically saying what I said was a lie and that my complaint about receiving calls from rude and pushy people must not be from them?! After finding similar reviews I feel a bit better but still sad they are allowed to treat people this way. I also have anxiety and depression and recently confirmed ADHD. I have a payment plan set up with them that I have continously paid on time. The amount I pay can not increase due to my limited ability to work. Yet on a number of calls I was asked to increase the monthly payments and advised I could payback what I owed quicker if I did this. Which could leave me in financial trouble.
