a scummy organisation buying up supposed old debts and harrassing people with letters full of inaccurate and incomplete information. Companies like this should not be allowed to function, they are the worst of the worst.

Most unreasonable company i have ever delt with.

Was hoping to make a partial settlement offer today to clear my accounts but unlike my other creditors which are accepting 30% discount money grabbing PRA are offering a completely unreasonable less than 5% discount with no room to negotiate terrible company to deal with and poorly expereinced call centre staff.

Warning from FINANCIAL CONDUCT AUTHORITY

Even though I have been making payments each week. They often say they haven’t received my payments . They arrive each week as I have set up standing orders.
Because they arrive on Wednesday and not Monday they send letters saying I have missed a payment, which is simply not true.
Also why have they been removed from the FCA ? And the public have been warned about them. Time for Matt Allwright to expose them as rogue traders!

Keep sending me emails for someone…

Keep sending me emails for someone elses debt - dont know how they have my email. Blatant disregard for data privacy and has to be a breach of license as I have the details of someone else who I am sure would not be pleased that their private info is being sent to randoms. Taking this higher and hope they lose their license to collect debts. Previous reviews tell you all you need to know.

If I could rate 0 stars I would! This company will constantly HARRAS you sending letters for debts which cannot be proved that you in fact owe despite asking for documentation to prove this more than once! Also tried to sell the “debt” onto another collection agency? I thought that is what you was PRA group?? It’s laughable. Complete cowboys any “positive reviews” on here are a load of rubbish, almost seems as though they write them themselves….

Asked for a final reduced payment of a…

Asked for a final reduced payment of a debt and they offered to take £100 reduction so I've asked for a proof of CCA to which they replied they're getting in touch with rbs to get the original CCA, so they have no enforcement of debt. So people please ask them for proof of CCA, they have to by law provide you with it within 12 days or the debt is unenforceable

Kept bombarding me with emails saying I…

Kept bombarding me with emails saying I owed them money. So I asked them to send me proof of liability as I don't owe them a penny. They haven't provided me with evidence and ignored all emails/letters sent to them. Service is terrible

Shameful company

I asked them to provide proof of liability as they are not the original creditor but they haven't provided any instead they are treating with County Court Claim but let's see how far they willing to go because they are not going to get anything. I will also seek compensation if they make a Claim as this liability has nothing to do with them.

Parasites. My father died and I sent them death certificate on 1st Sept 2023.

No reply just a threatening email. Complaints link’s connection doesn’t work and says error submitting complaint.

PRA who ???

Contacted these guys a few months ago following a letter received. I confirmed that the debt was statute barred. The guy on the phone said that’s fine I’ll get that sorted at our end . 3 months later I’m still getting the odd call and txt asking to contact them . Looking at all the negativity on these reviews, I think they need to give up or change their approach. There is no debt on my credit score and my score is near perfect so no ideal why they are hassling me . Should be laws against being hounded .

I have blocked the number relating to…

I have blocked the number relating to this company, as I constantly get voicemail messages, saying that I need to call them. I DON'T OWE ANYTHING. Nothing but phishing calls, which I blocked them. I have also complained in the past, via letter and email when the calls were at least four times a week.

Payment plan details

Set up a payment plan using my details, over a year ago, been trying to log in again to change my payment details,but was unable to get logged in, eventually loged in to find I'm called someone else and none of the last year's payments have not been taken off, totally useless.update 4-5-23,having spoke to the nice lady from pra, things should be sorted now .
