I wouldn't buy another warranty here if they were the last company on the planet.

They want your money and nothing else. They're not interested in helping you or fixing the problem.

Dealing with a bunch of extended…

Dealing with a bunch of extended warranty companies over the years, this company has by far been the best and easiest to deal with. Very straight forward contract and terms. It was very refreshing to deal with them.

Horrible I don’t know if I should be…

Horrible I don’t know if I should be writing reviews on here or for my dealer but the service that I’m receiving is less then good less then one star the fire was caused by a part you warranty but I’m left in the cold paying out of pocket $1,700 and change for a $2,100 and change bill it’s a shame bad companies are able to get by doing this to people

Found out transmission was going out…

Found out transmission was going out called Preferred warranty they had it in a shop the same week and fixed no hassles no problems and I’m very happy with this experience

Unethical scam artists posing

This company is an unethical borderline scam organization. They reply to poor ratings with false notes professing concern and a desire to remedy situations. All hollow nonsense. They neglected their commitment on a clear engine failure betting that my son won’t have the financial means to take them to court. They almost bankrupted the poor guy. Avoid these unethical crooks like the plague.

If i could rate lower I would.

If i could rate lower, I would. I bought this warranty for my car when i bought my used car 2.5 years ago to cover any kind of engine issues if they were to happen, fast forward to now, have a coolant leak in my engine, warranty won’t cover it saying it’s an “engine design flaw” so they won’t budge on covering the repair. Had i of known this when buying a warranty i would’ve went with a company that would cover what they said they would cover. Now im out of a car, and thousands of dollars over this BS warranty company. 0/10. Thanks for absolutely nothing other than taking my money. Not to mention, the guy in customer service I spoke to was EXTREMELY rude to me, and wouldn’t give me any explanation as to why my claim wasn’t approved. Just rude and distasteful. I will NEVER purchase another warranty from this company EVER. AGAIN.

Do NOT trust this company

Do NOT trust this company. Go see reviews posted on Consumer Advocacy sites. Interestingly they are straight 1 and 2 star. After three months of ownership and less than 2 1/2 months after an oil change, my 23 year old son’s engine seized up. These people Or shooting a loophole saying they don’t pay on issues caused by low oil… Obviously, there is a catastrophic engine problem that was unknown at time of purchase- He did not lose 7 quarts of oil through negligence. These guys are putting a 23 year-old close to bankruptcy through shady loopholes. If they will screw a 23-year-old new college grad into bankruptcy they will do the same to you.

Stay away from Preferred Warranties!

Stay away from Preferred Warranties!
If you have a choice between warranty protection companies, go elsewhere.
Their goal is NOT helping their customers when you need them most, when you’re desperate to get your vehicle serviced and returned.
They don’t answer calls on weekends. Why? They want to get you when you’re most vulnerable. You’ll have to make repeated calls starting on Monday to get a live person to speak with. Eventually you might get lucky and you’ll speak with an advisor sometime on Monday/Tuesday. Then…
Be prepared! They are going to throw every roadblock imaginable at you to avoid paying any money to the customer; including towing your vehicle to a shop of their choosing, not yours.
Asking if your vehicle had the “big tires” when you bought it (and the warranty), when the shop says to replace worn fuel injectors.
They’ll even have one of their “inspectors” go and invalidate what the shop mechanics are telling you, from the shop they made you tow your vehicle to!
In our case their own inspector told the shop it would be approved, only to have customer support override the report.
Of course now you’ll do almost anything to get your back because it’s been three weeks and damn it you need your car!

They say on line that the many poor reviews they receive, 14% one star ratings, are because they’re smarter than their customers.
If you have a choice DO NOT purchase an extended warranty from Preferred Warranty. You’ll be sorry you did if you have to use them.

Adjusters are easy to deal with

Adjusters are easy to deal with. Approvals come quick. Payment comes even quicker. Barb calls me within 20 minutes of sending in the final invoice.
