It took over a week to get an approval. The customer uses this vehicle for work so he was without a vehicle for the time it was down. He ended up having to agree to pay out of pocket so that we could begin the process of getting it back to him.

Had a great experience with Preferred Warranties. I purchased a BMW around 2 years ago. I heard that European vehicles could cost a lot for repairs, so I purchased their warranty. Process was smooth and they replaced my turbo and fuel injectors. I got the value out of the warranty and then some. I still have 2 years left on the warranty. Good purchase.

I been dealing with this warranty company and other companies for a few years as a auto repair shop. PWI is by far the best from start to finish. No long waits on the phone . Very few times do they chop my part price but when it happens it"s within reason and I think it only happened twice. Everyone is pretty knowledgeable and has been in my shoes. Keep up the great job!

I work for a repair facility that deals with your warranty company. The constant runaround your company gives, while attempting to short stores hundreds of dollars for work completed is atrocious. Phone calls are less than helpful, your coverage is a joke and the amount of roadblocks you set up to simply get authorization, or payment, makes me unwilling to accept customers with your 'coverage'.

We took our Ford F150 to Leif Johnson Ford with what we suspected to be transmission problems over a year ago, and they agreed we needed a new transmission. The issue was intermittent, but nonetheless Leif Johnson stated it needed to be replaced. AT THIS TIME WE WERE UNDER WARRANTY with Preferred Warranty, who came out and said there was no issue with the transmission. They refused to pay the claim in spite of Leif Johnson’s diagnosis.
Of course the exact same issue persisted over the next year, because the transmission wasn’t replaced, and our truck was back with Leif Johnson Ford multiple times. Finally our truck became un-drivable two weeks ago so we took it to the nearest dealer to where we were at the time, Covert in Hutto.
We have since learned that the transmission in fact should have been replaced when it was originally diagnosed as such, and we are faced with a bill of $9000. Our 21-year-old son did a YouTube search and immediately found the exact, known issue with our model of truck, verified by Covert’s diagnosis. Of course now the truck is out of warranty.
Leif Johnson has this documented in their service records from back when our truck was under warranty. Now we are faced with a $9000 bill that should have been covered by the warranty then. With this knowledge and documentation from while the truck WAS under warranty, Preferred Warranty refuses to cover our claim.
This company operates in bad faith. Do not waste your money on a warranty with them.

Had my truck in the shop for 3 weeks for a 2 and a half hour job, all from going back and fourth from mechanic to warranty company. On top of that you’ll have to pay a 100$ deductible to use the warranty you already pay for and pay for and sales tax and the diagnostic fee over 75$ keep your money it’ll be cheaper to fix it with the money you save from not buying from a warranty company.
