Quick, Easy and Cost Free. Win! Win!
Requested a prepaid bag to return my phone after receiving a fair quote. Followed the steps for ensuring my phone was cleared and any accounts were removed then took it to the post office. Received an email to say it had arrived and was going to be checked by a technician. Next thing I know the amount quoted had arrived in my PayPal account. Very simple and quick to do.

Found using preloaded tec to sell my old mobile phone really easy and straightforward, they offered a good fair price. Communication was excellent, letting me know they had received my phone and then again just a couple days later to let me know payment had been made. Overall very positive experience and would highly recommend.

Initially offered £40 then when phone…
Initially offered £40 then when phone was received they offered £20 stating the battery wasn’t at full health. I asked for it to be returned. I took the phone to be checked and battery was perfectly fine. Avoid! They will respond to reviews saying they did this and did that but given they don’t actually know who I am then it’s impossible to respond about my actual device.

Thanks for your review, we do encourage people to share their honest feedback and in the very small cases something doesnt go quite right we can ensure this is highlighted and we learn from it.
In reference to the battery comment you made in your review. We do use industry leading diagnostic software to run a 60-point check on all parts of a device when its appraised. This is to identify any issues with the handset that may need repair for us to be able to resell it as a quality refurbished device, which includes a detailed battery health check. After checking your order, we actually sent you photos of the screen of your actual device to show you the battery health when providing your adjusted price!
All tests are recorded on a PDF report, which we offer to share with our customers when there are issues for total clarity. Where a battery is past its manufacturer lifecycle count, or with Apple devices displays as 'in service mode' we do have to change these batteries for safety reasons, and this comes at a cost to us. Unfortunately this does mean we have to adjust offer prices accordingly to compensate for the work required to the device to bring it up to the required quality we are known for.
We always provide a customer with the ability to reject any revised offers and ship their device back totally free of charge within 24 hours. Which seems to have been the case with your device and you received it back and zero cost to yourself.
We do appreciate that sometimes orders don't go to plan, and when we do have to adjust offer prices this isnt always very well received and we get reviews like this. But we are an ethical business supplying quality products and if a device fails testing the repairs will be done correctly so a device can be resold to a new owner and the buyer doesn't have any future issues.
