Awful basic abilities... to book an appointment to suit availability seems a challenge beyond them.
Medical negligence hopefully isnt also standard as their admin staff?
I haven’t got one good word to say about Premex - BUT I have no idea what good it is us leaving reviews as for many of us our legal services are tied to using
Them as I have a feeling most of us are being reviewed following car accidents. The original doctor (GP) I saw in Paignton (Devon) was a Dr Simire. He made so many errors on the original report that it had to be returned 3 times and took almost a year after the accident for this to be ok - and I say ok- it was still full of spelling mistakes but the majority of the faults had been rectified and my solicitor felt we had to move on as I need to see specialists. I was then hopeful when I got appointment to see an orthopeadic specialist in the second week of January. However- despite the fact that I am bedridden and haven’t been able to work for 16 months post accident the specialist hasn’t even dictated the 3 minute consult to send back to the solicitors - my claim is going to be multi track given the complexities but because I am waiting on the first specialists report. I should say I will name this consultant as Samer Morgan as Premex should see now that 2 people are raising concerns over his ability to do his job. He either commits to working for Premex and understands a patient or he does his day job. Because of him I can’t even get an interim payment!! We are people- we are lives- mine a no fault accident and the other party admitted full liability yet I am the one unable to work, in financial anxiety and unable to do anything because Premex do not employ sensible doctors!! I am
Shocked by how many of us are reporting the same thing! It’s disgusting. These doctors and consultants should be given a. 2 week window to complete the work - when you are bedridden from a car accident that wast your fault and doctors swan around earning a fortune and ignoring reports that make life changing decisions it is a disgrace. It makes me feel like I should end it all rather than be like this for years with no possibility of help!! Shame on you and shame on your so called professionals !!’
Disgusting doctor at the Reading branch. The so called doctor Patel, and absolute disgrace. Rather than examin you fully he just asks to fill a form and gives his verdict on assumption following a severe accident. Rude and legal actions are on the way.
What a awful, upsetting experience. Appointment booked by carpenters solicitors following a car accident 3 weeks ago. No fault claim my i add.
Got to my appointment a good 15 mins early, was told to take a seat as Dr Sadiq hadn't yet arrived. Dr arrived just before my appointment time and was expressing his opinion on how many appointments he had that day, he wasnt happy about this may I add.
I was given a form by the Dr and told to fill out the back and front no please was included in this request. After I had finished I was taken to an bare office and told to sit at a desk.
I was then questioned about my answers in what id call a rude way. The Dr even insinuated that I was at fault due to not being able to understand how the other party could have crashed into me at a junction of an island. I had to provide a Google map image to make him understand what happened, at this point he just dismissed it and said ok. I was close to tears and walking out by this point.
I then added the other driver had a medical episode to which the Dr laughed and said thats not relevant is it. This was said in a arrogant/rude way. I was in the room no longer than 5 mins. I felt interogated and made to feel like the accident was my fault. The Dr had no Empathy was rude or looked like he didnt actually enjoy his job, from the moaning when he turned up I gathered he didnt.
I work for a large bank and if I had spoken to one of my customers in the way I was spoken to today, I wouldnt have a job.
Im so glad my 7 year old son wont have to see the same Dr in the next few days.
I am a former data subject whose medical records were handled by Premex Services Ltd (ExamWorks UK Group). In 2023, my full GP and hospital records — including unrelated gynaecological information — were shared by Premex with third-party medical experts, even though my claim concerned only an orthopaedic injury.
The company later confirmed in writing that the same medical bundle was reused for a second file. When I submitted a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) in 2025, I discovered that one of the key files ("sol corr.pdf") was provided in a format that did not contain accessible metadata, making it impossible to verify who accessed or distributed my data.
Despite written evidence and repeated correspondence, Premex has refused to acknowledge the concerns raised and has declined to provide audit logs or lawful-basis documentation. All communications and evidence have been preserved.
I have issued a formal Letter of Claim under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and am pursuing legal remedies for the data protection breaches.
This review reflects my personal experience and is based entirely on documented correspondence with Premex Services Ltd.
A lot of negatives. 1 example - Took my computer back to them on my last day. They said I'd get paid travel and parking . I never got a penny. Don't trust this company full of false promises.
The solicitors I have acting for me use Premax. In my case Premax were meant to present to solicitors 3 appropriate experts in relevant field. I insisted in doing my own research. I do have a wealth of past experience in the personal injury claims field. Of the 3 one had retired, another said the case was not for him and the third said he had a waiting list of 8 months. Really appalling. As far as I know solicitors still awaiting the details of an appropriate expert. They clearly had done no research before suggesting their 3 experts.
If their site is looked at they are appealing for doctors to join their expert list. They do not therefore appear to do regional to see where there are gaps in whatever field. I am amazed that solicitors pay agencies as those that do not manage to locate appropriate experts from their own
Investigations or prior experience or recommendations. I do not know how much this outfit charge but it should be recognised that a lot is resting on their so called own expertise.
Their site makes claims that on the basis of my experience are not justified.
I feel this company is one of the worst companies I've come across in recent times. I have attended many of the compulsory appointments to see their "independent" consultants, but none of the appointments I attended resulted in furthering my and my passengers' claims for personal injury.
Unfortunately, another firm of solicitors [Lyons & Davidson] is also using Premex for a different personal injury claim. Today, I received a letter from Premex to arrange an appointment regarding that claim.
Premex inadvertently attached someone else's personal injury claim letter to mine. Not only do I have this individual's name and address, but also the insurance/legal companies that are representing him. I assume that if I were a scam artist, this sort of information could be invaluable?
Fortunately, for this person, I am not a con artist. I will be reporting this serious breach of confidentiality to the Data Protection Officer [DPO], which regulates the rules regarding the amended Data Protection Act 2018, namely the GDPR rules.
The solicitors [Carpenters], who instructed Premex, are just as incompetent as Premex. I have reported Carpenters to the Solicitors Regulation Authority, as we feel, both, Carpenters and Premex have been complicit in their neglect of the duty of care. Specifically, because our personal injury claims will expire a few months from now (3 years from the date of the incident). Still, we have not moved forward!
They recommended a medico legal orthopedic doctor for Admiral Law, he was 20 minutes late for my appointment and spent just 15 minutes with me.
He said although I am continuing to have pain and need an operation, my pain from the accident on March 4th 2024 stops immediately on March 4th 2025. Amazing just like that it becomes wear and tear. Admiral law have accepted this and therefore cannot claim anything beyond March 4th 2025. This is after my short head of my bicep muscle snapped just 6 weeks after the accident, called an avulsion. Before accident I played table tennis every week, drive for hours now cannot do any of this.
Complete and utter stitch up.
Utterly useless
Slow
Sending useless and out of date experts often who have initial conflicts ie only represent the NHS
AVOID and tell your lawyer you don't want to use them
I would give -if I could
First Doctor lied on his report and I had a witness with me second doctor was spot on and I signed to say I agree the third doctor got everything wrong even the date of the accident all this took 18 mths
Now my insurance company are telling me I have to pay from Premex to see another doctor £540
I’m a pensioner and the accident was not my fault
I thought they worked for us
It’s disgusting the way I have been treated
Absolutely awful company to work for! Treated like robots and disciplined if you had a toilet break over 2 minutes in any day 👎 avoid like the plague
Unreasonable delay in progressing medical appointments.
Certainly not interested in me and my injuries. Don’t read Doctors Reports to get further tests and treatment arranged.
Today 8/07/2024 I was meant to have a call back from a Compliance Assistant. As usual no call even though the call Handler on Friday assured me that I would get the call!
They are useless
I had a car reversed into me while cleaning my motorcycle I was on other side of road in cul de sac bike fell on me causing some injury went through McAms (a accident management team for motorcyclists), put through to their solicitors who then put me through to Premex wanting medical stuff BUT the solicitors have that why cant they just contact them told solicitors no response this accident happened last year in June 2023 next time I'll just go through my insurance company and screw no claims bonus easier.
Found premex easy to contact. One call handler in particular that I spoke to on eve of appointment was very helpful. Specialist was easy to speak to and understood my symptoms.told me treatment that would help. Waiting on report now. 5 stars to the case handler I spoke to on 11/4/24
Terrible experience! I had the pleasure of getting a report done by Mr Samer Morgan orthopaedic specialist. He writes a glum picture of your injury and then insinuates you can do the same as before ( I certainly can’t). There is a lot of inconsistencies within my report that need clearing up however when asked some more questions he was very lazy and answered a lot of them with I don’t know. Now he has been asked for a meeting and as of the 21st feb still no meeting arranged which is over 2 months ago. I complained and escalated to Vicki Wooff who was helpful to begin with but now she just ignores my emails.
In my experience you will have exceptionally long wait times for reports and when they need amending that takes another couple of months, I’m still waiting for my report to be finalised and my appointment was not this year or last but the one before that.
I am considering complaining to the ministry of justice and trading standards as this is unacceptable.
Just an update the specialist has given 3 dates foram appointment but unfortunately my solicitors at Newlaw can’t do them so unless the specialist can make the next 4 working days I’m looking at August for an appointment.
Have to wait so long for reports to be sent through and some inaccuracies which increases waiting times for corrections to be made. Seven weeks post scan and still waiting for report from medical expert.
Expert lacked client care skillset making me uncomfortable at appointment. His office staff didn't inform me about having to complete a questionnaire pre-appointment.
Launched a service complaint involving staff member (SD), Team Manager (CW) and finally Head of Services (VW). First named failed to respond within timeframe set by firm, then evidence of comparable outcome payments made by alternative ADR's such as Financial Ombudsman provided to (CW). Callback arranged with (CW) didn't materialize because of intervention of (VW) with no advance warning.
Firm offered goodwill payment which fell far short of that provided (and understood/accepted by (CW)).
My acceptance does not mean I agree with decision.
Both administratively and professionally my experience of dealing with Premex was nothing like the quality of care I received at first point of contact and this alone explains the uplift to a 2 Star rating.
The firms attitude and reluctance to negotiate rather than impose quantum speaks volumes about its ethos, the way it delivers customer care and the importance it attaches to maintaining good customer relations.
Overall not a pleasant journey which carries the potential to affect others.
Would be no stars if I could, phones me on a Sunday saying I have an appointment without no Previous notification or letter or emand tells me to bring just my daughter to a hotel room on a Sunday night. Could not mate this up then threatened to charge me. Absolutely a joke
