I love it when a plan comes together

Main bedroom fitted within 6 weeks of first visit to the showroom. Kept fully informed of progress. Everyone came on the days and times they were supposed to. Very happy with end product. A big shout out to Ray (fitter), Sean (electrician) and Craig (plasterer). High class work and very tidy.

Very poor customer service.

The fitters of my kitchen were lovely and the actual fitting is of a good standard. However the customer service was appalling. The kitchen took 8 weeks to complete and it’s a standard size. There was no clear plan of whom was coming when and it took numerous phone calls from myself to get things done. There was no one contact who I could speak to and we were promised on lots of occasions that people would call us back and never did. Towards the end it would appear that customer services did not realise our flooring wasn’t complete despite us telling them on at least two occasions. Every time we rang to ask when bits of work were going to be finished we had to reiterate the works outstanding. It was only when I got really stroppy and disgruntled that things were sorted out. I would not recommend this company at all.

AVOID!!!! AWFUL AFTER SALES!!!!

Ordered a kitchen in June 2018 for delivery later in the year when our extension was ready, supply only as our own carpenter fitted it. Premier Kitchens did the survey in late October and it was delivered on 13th November. We had a carpenter booked for 12th as that was the delivery date we were given. No call from Premier to say the date had changed and only found this out when we called them to ask where it was! First hint of bad service as until this point everything had been excellent. On 13th Nov, the majority of the kitchen arrived but some components were missing. I was expected to help the driver unload the entire kitchen as he was on his own! Not easy with a 3 year old and 8 month old and took hours! I was a very unhappy lady at this point! I had large appliances on my order that were simply too heavy for me to move. I called Premier and was just told to be careful that I didn't hurt myself! Ended up calling for my carpenter to help from 20 miles away! No apology from Premier Kitchens at all! Over the next few weeks I sent numerous emails, and made many calls etc chasing the missing parts. No one ever called me back despite numerous promises from the receptionist. I finally received the rest of the kitchen on Tuesday 22nd Jan, over 2 months after the first delivery! And not a word from them to say when it would be coming, just an automated text the day before. Again no apology or explanation. Haven't heard from them since!
I ordered a warming drawer to sit in line with my AEG ovens and microwave because we were told we needed to have this for them to sit in line together. Well, they still don't sit in line, we have a large gap under one of the ovens! I have emailed photos to Premier Kitchens as requested and have never heard another word about it. They are just not interested.
I must add the actual kitchen is exactly what we were looking for and the quality is superb, I really couldn't ask for more from that point of view and if the service was of the same standard this would be a 5 star review.
This company is great until they have your money, then all you get is promises of someone calling back etc which never ever materialises. They are impossible. Poor poor service and has really added to the stress of our build.

All of the paperwork provided to our customers is transparent and clearly indicates that delivery or commencement of work is always provided as ‘Week Commencing’, apologies that this was not made clear to you. We would always expect the fitter to be onsite when delivery is made so products can be checked off in full due to the amount of components supplied within a kitchen, we would not expect a customer to either help or have the knowledge of products being delivered.

Please rest assured that all incorrect items will be replaced and re-delivered to you.

Fitting started one week later than…

Fitting started one week later than originally planned. The first trade to turn up was the plasterer - before the old kitchen had been ripped out. The plasterer ripped out the kitchen with a hammer before starting to plaster the walls. We were not very impressed with the work that was carried out and the mess that was left behind. Whilst the electricians did a good job they didn't turn up until 5pm and didn't finish until 9 - 9:30pm. The kitchen fitter (Ray) did a brilliant job, he was very helpful and we would recommend him to anyone. Ditto for the floor layer - excellent and a credit to the company. The quality of the kitchen is very good. This is the second time we have used this company - the first kitchen was installed over twenty years ago and was only changed to modernised a bit - the units were still in good condition.

Horrendous Experience!! DO NOT USE

Horrendous Experience!!

I was due to have my kitchen fitted on the W/C 3rd of December, it was not a big job (3 floor cabinets, 2 wall cabinets, sink, oven and space for washing machine & dishwasher). There were several delays with parts arriving. I was left less than two before Christmas with a half fitted kitchen, no oven, no running water to the sink and the old kitchen left on my balcony.

Then it gets worse, a poorly soldered joint failed causing my hot water tank to leak into the floor below during the night, Premier sent the same contractor to fix this, 7 days after - I spent this time with no hot water.

I had to clear the old kitchen myself after it sat on the shared balcony for 3 weeks and I received complaints from neighbours - Premier could not take it because "the skip at the showroom is full" for the duration

Christmas Eve, I use my dishwasher for the first time whilst hosting friends. The new waste pipe had been connected to a piece of pipe that had been snapped, not cut. The jagged edge had mashed the seal so my dishwasher emptied itself onto the floor which again went through into the floor below. Premier were closed to I contacted the sub contractor directly, he suggested I fixed it myself as he could not come out.

I was happy to receive the electrical safety certificate for the works done at part of the kitchen fit, despite two wires ON LIVE CIRCUITS left with tape around the ends hanging out of the wall. Leaving that one for trading standards.

Despite several letters of complaint and following Premiers own complaints escalation, premier are insisting on sending the same subcontractor that has caused two lots of damage to my property and left it in a dangerous state.

I've read other reviews and like others I have also contacted the MD Iain Forsythe however it seems Premiers poor customer service comes from the top. He addressed the picture of water pouring from the bottom of the cabinets by explaining why the cabinets had to be stood on batons (never mentioned in any of my complaints) and suggested that I did not send my original complaint in dated 17th of December 'because he is always made aware of them' this was despite me explaining that I have read receipts for all complaints from his company. He closed by insisting I have the same cowboy contractor back into my home and that he would review the work done after.

2 months later I still have an incomplete kitchen and am left with water damage to my own property and neighbouring properties. I have live wires hanging out of the walls and I have had to do part of the work myself like removing the old kitchen from the premises.

DO NOT USE PREMIER KITCHENS

Excellent quality and price

Had these people refurbish my bedroom, installing built in wardrobes and redecoration of the room was fantastic. I was given a plan and an idea of the work that would be carried out and the time frame in which the project would be complete. I was very pleased with the service I recieved and would recommend them to others.

The quality of our fitted bedroom is…

The quality of our fitted bedroom is good, the fitter was brilliant, but can't say the same for the administration, they take the order and the money but do not follow through, rude and unhelpful and when the fitting was delayed did NOT do what they said in THEIR contract, had to chase them to find out when it would be fitted.

Whilst I appreciate that you cannot please all of the people all of the time, this common thread of poor communication has not gone unnoticed and I have taken robust action in changes internally to make all my valued customers not only have the quality products and installation that they deserve, but also to rebuild the customer service values that our last 26 years of trading have been based on.

Our aftersales relationship during the warranty periods are up to 15 years and had we not made these changes internally we would not be here to service these if they were needed.

I sincerely apologise to all those affected.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Again I have had to write a review of this extremely poorly run company again one star given as you cannot write a review without giving a star. I am still waiting for my bathroom and en-suite to be finished an electrician was sent out he couldn’t finish the lighting in the floor as they had been installed incorrectly and said we would need them re fitting which meant new flooring being fitted and the leak from the bathroom into the living room ceiling well they sent out a so called decorator well I have never seen anything like it I have a lump in my ceiling I have photos to prove this, or why won’t they come and see this mess. Have they answered our email or messages on Facebook of course not they have had our money and don’t care. The en-suite shower tray over flows all over the floor their reply as they only do one size waste honestly is that the only excuse thy can give after all a surveyor comes out first to make sure the work can go ahead the easiest thing to do is put a deeper shower tray in as the poor reviews below say Installation/contract manager whom we cannot name really has not got a clue how to do his job he has NEVER been out to see this mess I wonder why? As for the owner of the company surely he should over seeing these jobs of course not he don’t care he has our money

good problem free experience

We moved into an 80s bungalow in February 2018. Fortunately we were able to remain in our old property hwhilst the old brown kitchen was removed. Darren or perhaps it was Darrell was a wonderful competent fitter let himself in and out worked hard around the decorator. All new appliances fitted. All completed in just over a week with no fuss and it looks lovely modern and clean. Premier have been back twice once to ease the self closure on one of the cupboards and later to stick down small piece of beading just small jobs done quickly. This will be the third premier kitchen for this family.
I do have just one niggling problemwhich has come up over Christmas so not disscussed with premier as yet. We choose to have laminated worktops for cost reasons and the join near the sink is showing signs of water ingress perhaps a design fault which we will need to discuss after the new year. Otherwise a good problem free experience.

The most disastrous company I've ever…

The most disastrous company I've ever had to deal with in my life! The work PREMIER could not be far from the experience received. Had a kitchen 13 years ago from them when supply of the units were from William Ball, which were high quality, now they are no longer trading so PKB are now manufacturing their own, which in my opinion is no where near as good. The kitchen arrived in a dirty and grubby condition (carcasses), and many of the doors where incorrect or damaged. The fitters they use are mainly sub contractors and are not vetted, which resulted in after 4 months still incomplete after 7 more visits thereafter. There is no management from my experience, the contracts manager is unqualified and directs subsequent fitters to bodge to put things right which does not work. You will be unable to speak to anyone because their customer care does not work and they don't care, If you manage to speak to anyone it is as if the company policy is admit nothing, agree to nothing and do nothing, even recorded delivery letters to the MD are treated with contempt. Once the delivery is received and you've parted with your money it is all downhill. If you are tempted to go with them make sure you ask for an itemised bill, as they are not transparent and you will be unable to get one thereafter. The spec was changed in some areas without knowledge and the kitchen ordered was not the kitchen we wanted and still unfinished and now this has gone legal. I cannot believe the different company they are from my experience in 2005. In my opinion they have gone into building, bedrooms and bathrooms as well and ended up being jack of all trades, master of none as the saying goes. Don't go by the good reviews, read up on the bad ones as they mirror the experience I've had. I have learnt one thing, never part with all your money until the job is complete. If you do check out your consumer rights, I feel for others that has suffered the appalling treatment of this company, they make out they care by their reply but it is just a facade.

Just to say a big thanks to Premier kitchen guys that got our kitchen done. Very efficient and great work carried out,finishing on time too. First class installation from start to finish

I'm not one to leave reviews but I felt I just needed to for the amazing service and quality of workmanship carried out by the team at Premier Kitchens. The initial design was well thought out and explained and the two kind gentlemen spent the best part of a week fitting our lovely new kitchen, working extra hard to get it finished in time. I cannot get over how much of an improvement it is, looks absolutely amazing, my husband and two daughters won't leave it now!
