Mr Ressiniotis carried out cataract eye surgery on my left and right eyes in Oct/Nov 2022, including procedures to insert tiny titanium stents in each eye to control the eyeball pressure. He did this work to a high professional standard and his aftercare was excellent, ensuring that I was kept informed at all times of the necessity of medication, eyedrops, eyeball pressure tests etc. Mr Ressiniotis is a quiet, well-spoken man with an encyclopedic knowledge of his specialist field, and he puts patients at ease instantly.

As a result of my annual check up ,my Optician advised that the problems being caused by my early stage cataracts required referral to the Glaucoma Clinic.

I became anxious about the possibility of Glaucoma, so started researching expert Glaucoma Surgeons and fortunately found Mr Thomas Ressiniotis at Spire Little Aston.

The research gave me confidence to book an initial consultation with Mr Ressiniotis in December 2022 , he answered all my questions and gave me reassurance despite my anxiety. Therefore I decided to have bilateral cataract surgery performed by Mr Ressiniotis.

The whole experience from initial consultation to the after case review was exemplary.The operations 2 weeks apart in January/February were extremely successful , I had no pain and have eliminated the need to juggle multiple pairs of glasses.

Mr Ressiniotis, the Anaesthetist and all the staff at the Spire Eye Centre were professional and caring throughout.

In summary Mr Ressiniotis is an excellent eye surgeon , a consummate knowledgeable professional with an impeccable bedside manner.

I was referred to Mr Ressiniotis by my consultant who was retiring. Over the past year he has monitored my glaucoma and performed two cataract operations. I am very pleased with my eyesight. He also added a procedure to ensure my eye pressures were not adversely impacted by the surgeries. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Ressiniotis as he is an excellent surgeon and is very approachable.

Dr Ressiniotis performed cataract and lens implant surgery on me very recently, i am so happy with the outcome, my eyesight is virtually perfect. I had a really good experience at Midland Eye yesterday. Mr Thomas Ressiniotis saw me and was so informative, polite and caring when he performed the YAG laser treatment to both of my eyes. My appointment was deferred from April 2020. New treatment prescribed in February 2020 was discussed and a check then made of my eyes, including pressure readings. I was told that haemorrhage in one eye had stopped and that a further assessment in 6 months' time was advised.
As always, hygiene precautions were thorough and everything was clearly explained.

Mr Ressiniotis was very kind and considerate to me, spoke clearly as I am a little deaf, explained everything to me and put me at my ease. He didn’t rush me but gave me time to ask questions and reassured me. The cataract operation was successful and I would recommend him for all eye treatments. Over the last couple of months I have undergone cataract surgery in both eyes. I was very concerned to have this procedure during the Covid situation, but the system in place in the Eye Department was excellent and I felt completely safe during the whole procedure from first appointment onwards. To treat increasing internal pressure in my eyes, and cataracts progressively affecting my vision, I finally decided that I needed to take action with surgical correction. I saw Mr Ressiniotis who proposed a double cataract operation with Istent implants to relieve the pressure. The two operations were 4 weeks apart, The care, professionalism and skills demonstrated were wonderful. Having quickly recovered, my eyesight, no longer needing any eyedrops, is better than at anytime since I was ten years old. I cannot recommend Mr Ressiniotis highly enough.

I can throughly recommend Mr Ressiniotis, very caring and compassionate. He listens to you and explains everything about your condition. I had an eye operation in 2017 that was extremely successful and have recently had laser surgery to my other eye.
