After waiting some time due to Covid 19 I was to see
Mr Ressiniotis who informed me i have glaucoma and needed cataract surgery, I found Mr Ressiniotis a friendly person that you can talk to, he informed me in great detail the operation procedure.
Operation was soon carried out after my last visit which all went well with no discomfort.
Aftercare was well explained regarding eye drops etc.
Thank you Mr Ressiniotis and your team for restoring a 84 year old eye sight.

I had an initial consultation with Mr. Ressiniotis about my cataracts when he explained fully the surgery involved. The subsequent surgery on both eyes went well and I can now see better than I have ever done in my life.
Throughout the whole of this experience Mr. Ressiniotis was unfailingly pleasant and helpful.

Cataract surgery on my right eye was going to be extremely difficult because twenty years using Pilocarpine Eye Drops for Glaucoma had paralysed the muscles which control the iris and only a pin head pupil remained. Eye drops used to widen the pupil had no effect and Mr Ressiniotis had no choice but to carry out the lens implant through the pin head. Eye surgery at this level is an art rather than a routine cut and stich and Mr Ressiniotis called upon his years of experience and great skill to perform an operation which resulted in a 100% success. He was backed by a team whose mission was patient safety, reassurance, comfort and accurate after care. The day after the operation I opened the bedroom curtains and I was astounded at the improvement of
my colour perception, my visual acuity and my visual field.

During a recent appointment with my optician, he advised that cataracts in both eyes needed to be removed and recommended Mr Thomas Ressiniotis to perform the procedure. Luckily, he is based at Spire, Little Aston, a five minute drive from my home so, after the initial consultation, involving him and the personable members of his team, arrangements were put in hand within a few days. It is, of course, quite handy if the surgeon and patient are roughly on the same level. My spondylitis made this rather difficult, but an impromptu system of straps and pulleys soon had me suspended by the knees and both operations were successfully completed. Very impressed, and greatly relieved, I am delighted with the results and cannot thank Mr Ressiniotis and his team enough for their dedicated approach to achieving this fantastic result. My optician's confidence has been rewarded and, to him, Mr Ressiniotis, and all concerned at Spire, may I extend my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.

I presented Mr Ressiniotis with a challenge when I saw him about my cataracts. I had had an operation 40 years ago on my eyes, which had left deep scars. He warned me that the outcome of my cataract surgeries was uncertain because of this. The result was brilliant. With the exception of age-related reading needs, my eyesight has returned - almost - to what it was when I was a child of 9 and started wearing specs. I feel wonderful about it. Mr Ressiniotis is honest and kind, as well as an excellent surgeon.

After many years of being told to continue with nightly drops for the treatment of suspected glaucoma I finally decided to see if there was any alternative.

I am so pleased that I was fortunate enough to be given an appointment with Mr Ressiniotis.

He was able to confirm that laser treatment in only one eye was needed and this went ahead very quickly and painlessly.

I now no longer need drops and my eyes no longer ache - all soreness has disappeared.

was referred to Mr.Ressionoitis for a cataract operation and to have a stent implant to reduce the pressure caused by occular hypertension I which I understand can lead to Glaucoma)
I was a little anxious about the orocedure but Mr.Ressiniotis was very understanding and explained the procedure to me. I went to the Midland Eye Clinic just before lockdown and all the staff were very attentive and caring. I had no discomfort during or after the operation, and everything was explained throughout.
I know I will probably have to have the same procedure on the other other eye, but now feel more at ease because of the professional and understanding way Mr Ressiniotis dealt with this one.

I was diagnosed with chronic open angled glaucoma 3 years ago .

After feeling let down and uncared for by my previous consultant , I sort after a second opinion.

I had my first consultation with Mr Ressinotis in December 2019 after researching many experts in their field , I felt confident in booking a consultation.
From there I booked a trabulectomy in January with him at the Spire Group .
Mr Ressinotis reassured and talked through the whole process with me .

Mr Ressiniotis has been my Glaucoma eye consultant for nearly 2 years. From the first time I met him I was extremely impressed with his kind, down to earth, humble manner and professional expertise. He is very easy to talk to and he goes to great lengths to ensure you understand and are comfortable with any treatment plan or procedure. He genuinely cares about helping and doing the best for his patients and given he is both the NHS and private hospital ‘go to’ for complex cases you know your eyes are in the best hands. I can’t express enough just how ‘human’ and approachable he is. He has a genuine heart which combined with him being a top expert in his field bodes for ultimate patient trust and confidence.
I would give anything for myself or anyone else NOT to have a serious eye condition which as an understatement can be scary and cause a lot of anxiety. Mr Ressiniotis understands this too and gives you all the time needed to knowledgeably answer questions or allay concerns.
Given glaucoma is a lifelong, vision threatening condition, I am extremely grateful my eyes are being so well managed and looked after. The SLT procedure on my right eye was a complete success.
