This entire company is a scam. They don't reply to messages on their website and the phone number on the back of the cards is disconnected.

Really sucks delivery took almost a month, works only on game sites

Has anyone found a solution to this gift card issue? I received mine for an appliance purchase rebate and i had the same thing happen to me.....Expired fast, zero balance when calling, same as everyone else.

The card expired very quickly and they refused to reissue it, which is theft. The company is running a scam, I am reporting them to the Attorney General, BBB and the investigative news channels.

I got a "reward card" VISA from a company for a product refund. I was NOT happy at all, because I expected this company to simply mail me a paper check refund. I had to register this card at prepaidcardstutus.com where I was forced to enter personal information I did NOT want to do. I just wanted to you my VISA. So I registered my card, and then I tried to use it at Target, Walmart, etc. and it requires a PIN number which is NOT on the card, and was NOT given to me when I registered it. So today, December 29, 2022, I go back to the website to get the customer service information to get my PIN. Instead I the website says that it has been compromised, and you need to call to get a new card. Great. So now my personal information, which I did NOT want to enter in the first place, was hacked ONE day after I entered it on their sketchy website!!!

I received two gift cards worth $300 each that I didn't realize expired so quickly. When I went to re-establish the card, the website said it was too late: "The card you are attempting to access has expired and has passed the eligibility period for access or replacement."

This is illegal as far as I understand. I'll be contacting VISA and Aeroplan to complain, as they shouldn't be dealing with seemingly fraudulent companies.

Well and truly scam-like. Called 1-800 number listed on paperwork that came with the card to check balance.

Balance of my brand-new, just received this week and doesn't expire until 2024 card is...$0. Clearly, there's something that happens once you register.

Never asked for the card from the provider who sent it (SurgeryPlus), not interested in sharing personal info to register. Site looks scammy as hell.

worthless POS site. throws up errors, tries to get you to make an account 5 separate times before recognizing you already have an account. NO VENDOR OR PROVIDER SHOULD USE THIS. Absolute POS

SCAM!!! I got this card and went to the store. When I tried to use it, it was declined. 3x later it went through but only part of the amount. So I finally find where to check the balance and 1 month Before I got the card, a $49.99 purchase was made on the card. Biggest piece of crap card. I threw the stupid thing out. Also their website is crap too.

Got $377 card thru fitness contest (work related enticement for health status of employees..). Didn't notice the expiration date was so quick. they apparently get to keep my $$, even though NY law says gift cards must not expire for 5 years....and value never expires.

My 2 cards expired 2 weeks ago. I contacted them and they emailed me back basically telling me to go pound dirt. I explained that my wife has been in and out of the hospital and I forgot about the cards until today. I explained to them I filled dozens of surveys to get that nearly $500 between the 2 cards. As far as I am concerned, this is theft of wages. In Georgia, they are required to report that as abandoned funds and they haven't. They probably share the expired cards 50/50 with the survey companies. I have not done a survey since then since those companies utilize companies like Prepaid Card Services.

Can't use card, because its last day of the month and it all websites and stores are saying that it has expired. It is not the 1st of the next month until 1200 am. Now they expect me to pay 12.95 to get a new card, this is a rip off. The absolute worst experience I have ever had with this prepaid card.Never again

I have been trying for almost a year to get my card repalced. I am continually told That my situation will be escalalted and my card will go out in 7 to 10 business days. Of course it does not arrive. Then i was told that it could not be sent to my address, please give us another delivery address. That did not solve the issue. They are holding over $7,000 dollars in my account and I cannot get it. I have never dealt with a more backwards company.

Awful company. My card expired and called the number in the card for assistance and was told to go online for replacement. I got a response via email that they could not replace it anymore. No consideration and the person I talked to was not helpful at all nor their reply in email.

Reached customer service for my Accuvue rebate visa card and this agency couldn't help me on the phone and web site is unmanuverable. CSR told be already a 50.oo charge on card that isn't mine and I can't get card to work at all. This company is a scam as far as I'm concerned.

This feels like one giant scam.
I got $100 VISA card from a kitchen appliance company.
I registed my wallet on their website and then you get a spinning wheel and nothing.
When you try to log in again it's as if you've never visited before.
Tried three different computers and two different physical locations. All with the same result. Not a client based issue.

I would give this site a 5 but it took forever to actually get to the website. Once there it was a quick & simple process. The trick is to not type in the website it is prepaidcardstatus.net instead of .com. scroll past all of the install links down to the red button for official login or website. I cannot remember verbiage but once you click on that you are directed to the prepaidcardstatus.com website.

I have been doing taste tests and they always pay with these cards . I have never had an issue with them> I even had one card that was almost expired and they kindly sent me a new one with longer expiration date. So for myself speaking , this is NOT a scam.
