Avoid
Avoid. Terrible website, and after multiple attempts and calls the agent finally said I can't just process for you and it took here all of 10 seconds. Why not do this on the first call? I was looking to have the $50 prepaid card reissued as it went unused during the pandemic. Not surprising.......$10 fee to reissue a simple card. No interest in customers, just in making money that they did not earn. These are exactly the times when individuals and communities should be sticking together. Prepaidcardstatus is instead taking advantage of the pandemic.

Awful website and customer service
Awful. Clearly no interest in customers here. Website repeatedly breaks down at various points. I tried 3 different browsers, mobile vs PC, many different paths and I ran into repeated errors. Using the phone was painful too, slow, repetitive phone tree and in the end I was directed to the website to request a replacement card. The whole process is way too time consuming, probably by design to try and take people's money. Pathetic.

created an account and $25 magically disappeared. Had to FAX my dispute claim in and then they gave me the run around for months. Always transferring me and giving me a different number and one person doesn't have the right information. Bunch of thieves.

Places you can use the card is limited
Places you can use the card is limited. And after 6 months the card expires and they block you from using it. O and if it's lost you pay $10 to get a replacement. If your balance is less than $10 they automatically keep the money. Imagine how many people have lost money from this scam like company. And you never get to spend the full amount up till the last penny. So imagine how much money they are making from people.

Don't use this company for Prepaid Card Services
If you have money on your prepaid card and the date expires, the automatically block you from accessing your details:
"The card you are attempting to access has expired and has passed the eligibility period for access or replacement."
This is paramount to stealing your money, which they obviously feels is okay.
I would not recommend this company as their practices are criminal.
