Plant condition looks excellent as was the packaging. Only time will tell me the quality of the blooms. So as of now it's four stars optimistically becoming five next year!

The order was dispatched and received a few days after order. I was somewhat disappointed in the size (small) of the poenie given the cost. Some of the potting compost was in the bottom of the box and... See more

No communication at all - Nothing !

No confirmation of order other than the charge appearing . No details as when delivery expected . We were about to leave for a months vacation - I emailed asking for delivery date . No response .
The item actually was delivered the day prior to flying out . It's planted so unable to comment on quality . Would not purchase from this seller again .

Frustrating Supplier

Dealing with this company is a nightmare !!
They is no way of contacting them by phone just email and then you wait forever if at all for a reply.
I recently wanted to order some peonies and wanted some advice, wanted to speak to a human being !!, no chance.
There web site talks about open days but I have now
been on there mailing list for many months and have heard nothing. Was hoping it would have been in the flowering season to help choose new colours etc.

Terrible customer service

Asked for a VAT receipt and they never sent one. Have followed up and they don't reply. Terrible customer service. Better buy from other RHS rated suppliers

peony spring fertiliser

Ordered peony spring fertiliser which was in stock , took them over a week to despatch the item and a week (6days) to deliver !! Even though I had to paid £9.95 for 24 hour delivery !! contacted company several times but they have never even bothered to respond , will NOT be using them again, perhaps they should not have an on-line shop as they can’t seem to run it professionally.

When the four peonies arrived three of them were dried out unfortunately. Two of them (for the price of them,) were just like someone had pushed a stick into a pot. I am still not sure if they will come to anything next year. The other one has got some growth so hopefully it will survive till next year.

Peony died, no response from Primrose

Ordered two peonies from Primrose costing £69. One of the peonies (Coral Sunset) died. I contacted Primrose by email and followed up a week later. No response from Primrose. Disappointing as other nurseries I’ve ordered from (Claire Austin, Ballyroberts, Cowell’s) have been responsive and offered to replace plants that have failed.

Great quality mail order.

I was really pleased with my order. The Peony plant was in good condition and well packaged. It is nice to be able to source some unusual varieties from a trusted nursery. I also ordered a card which was beautiful and some feed which hopefully my Peonies will love.

Please contact me

Primrose hall peonies has a very easy to use website with lots of info on each peoney, ordering was quick, packaging & delivery were great. My peonies didn't flower for a couple of years due to external things like wild life wrecking their stems. Once flowering they looked and smelled great & cut some stems before they opened for inside, my Alertie buds opened & made my kitchen small lovely.
This review would be 5 stars but 3 of my peonies from 2 orders, on buds opening, weren't the correct peonies I'd ordered, but I'm struggling to get any contact back from them to address this matter. I am having to use their contact us on their website, which they did respond to twice, but after I sent pictures in return, I got no response back, so had to use the contact us email multiple times but still no contact from Primrose hall peonies. I will update this review if anything changes. Update 25/09/25 still no contact from this company about my 2 missing peonies. I am so gutted I didn't get the peonies I ordered for £30 each, after waiting several years for flowers I thought I'd love, only to find peonies that i didn't like or choose to grow. Can their customer service please reach out to me regarding this issue. Thanks

Ordered on the 10th June they posted on 18th and it’s been stuck with dpd ever since filled out a form on their website 3 weeks ago and no one has got in touch to give me my money back or arrange a delivery. Very disappointed

I am very disappointed I bought a 'dinner plate' peony at Hampton Court flower show on Friday. Plant advertised as £30 but if bought at the show would be £25. I was very upset on checking my bank account to see I was charged £35!! I hope for an apology and a refund. I was lady in a disabled buggy. Cicely Crawford
