I've literally been going here since I was seven years old (quite a few years ago now 🙈). I've revisited many times over the years and have bought everything from keyboards, pianos and music books to speakers, mixing desks and mics, whether you're just starting out (the perfect place to go btw) or a consummate professional, I can't recommend Dave and the gang any higher. A very special place for me. 🙏🏻

I recently purchased a Boss pedal from Promonade Music. I was impressed with everything, the pedal was very well priced, the website was very easy to use, the pedal arrived in less than 24 hours, it was very well wrapped up and the instructions for the package to be only delivered if I was in very prominant to avoid those leaving things like this for all to see. Absolutely top notch !!!

Quick & efficient service - I ordered a guitar online and it arrived well setup and on time. The pricing was also very competitive indeed, which was the icing on the cake.

I ordered an electric violin from their webshop and paid the full amount in advance. Afterward, I received an email saying they do not have th instrument in stock and that they couldn’t reach their supplier to discuss the details. I thanked them for the information, but then I got another email saying they would refund me and suggested I order the product directly from their supplier’s website, providing the link. (The supplier they couldn’t get in touch with.)
I pointed out that, since they are selling this product and I already paid in advance, it’s their responsibility to help resolve the issue. However, they completely ignored my concern. I’ve been waiting for my refund ever since, which could take 3-5-10 business days, but it’s been a frustrating experience. I’ve lost time and their customer service was not helpful at all, I don’t understand how it’s possible to pay upfront for a product that isn’t in stock.
I would have expected some kind of compensation for the inconvenience but I never received any further replies.
Do not order from them!

I purchased a fender about 18 months ago. Love it to bits. I've been playing for about 6 years. Still not very good but had a look in the shop today as I was looking for a Marshall valve amp. The lads were chatting about what songs they had been playing on stage over Christmas. Anyway ended up leaving without an amp feeling intimidated...

Found an Epiphone Firebird that's currently discontinued, on Promenade website ... great friendly communication and fast, free delivery ... fantastic service, thanks guys.

We visited Promenade music and discovered a fantastic selection of guitars (many other instruments too) the staff were friendly and helpful, they are very knowledgeable and happy to give advice.
We purchased a travel guitar which my husband is very happy with.
It was a real treat visiting this showroom

I was recommended this supplier for a new keyboard. On phoning them they had the item in stock at the lowest price in the region. Staff were helpful, well-informed and friendly, offering advice on every aspect of my purchase. Inside the shop was a huge range of keyboards guitars and pretty much everything else. It was literally an Alladins cave for any musician. I had a little further to travel than to my usual supplier, but the whole experience was well worth it and I cannot speak highly enough of the customer experience. Well worth a visit, with a warning to guitarists, you will be drooling at the range of instruments on there.

This is my second review of this shop. I don't think I can recall any other business where staff bend over backwards to give such first class service. I am always treated like one of the family! Great prices and huge stock of stunning instruments. Last night I got into a conversation about guitars with a total stranger. Promenade's name cropped up and his first comment was "what a friendly bunch !" Jim, Blackpool.

Came in with a not so good violin that we had purchased from a different shop and left here with a beautiful violin and some great advice, very honest and polite staff, will most definitely be coming here again in the future, extremely happy with our purchase.

Purchased a guitar on line. Advertised as in stock and it was clear that it didn’t come with a case or bag. I got great communication at each stage of the purchase. Once processed it was posted quickly using a reputable carrier and arrived within 24 hrs. Perfect. On opening the box I found that the guitar was in a basic gig bag. On examination the guitar was great, clean, shiny and all that I could hope for. I am so delighted with the service start to end that I wanted to write this review. I haven’t been asked for a review it’s purely that I want to praise Promenade for a great service. So often these days there are problems and the supplier isn’t interested!! This experience was great. Many thanks to the folks at Promenade.

The staff are incredibly knowledgable and friendly, their services are second to none and invaluable to myself and my children whom are all aspiring musicians. The staffs support has certainly aided in my children’s progression through their musical journey. I will certainly remain a loyal customer and can’t recommend highly enough. Dealt with Bob over the phone as I live in Kent .I needed a replacement pre amp for my EKO guitar and found Promenade music on line . Bob ordered the pre amp for me and posted it on as soon as he received it.
He kept me informed by e mail while waiting for it to come in. Great service and will keep details of this shop for future needs

I cannot begin to express my appreciation for the staff at Promenade Music enough. I'm in a wheelchair and they made me feel like I wasn't. They provided ramps and opened rear doors and fetched things I couldn't reach so I could look at them and have a go. They're funny, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and the kindest most helpful staff I have experienced since becoming disabled.

Their stock is out of this world! It is a wonderland for musicians. They never pressure you into any sales and as a result you always feel confident in your purchases.

It's such a good place I'd recommend a dedicated trip to their shop just for an afternoon's entertainment.

If you live anywhere in the Northwest of England then go! The rest of the country should either use their extensive online shop or, better still, make the journey. You won't be disappointed.

I bought a lovely classical guitar from Promenade music recently and am delighted with the instrument and the customer service I received.David who served me really knows his music and was very helpful and friendly. What a brilliant music shop this is.

Delighted with the quality and value for money of my purchase - a Levin acoustic guitar. And David was a wonderful person to do business with, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and so friendly too. A great company and a credit to the local area to have such an excellent music business at its heart.

Called in to Promenade Music as I had an issue with a guitar. The staff were very very friendly and most approachable, they soon diagnosed the issue with the instrument.

A very welcoming and friendly staff. I was allowed plenty of time to try out a few instruments on my own. Well worth a visit and I will always call in when Im in the area. I think the registration card must have fallen out of the case for the guitar I purchased and it arrived in the post a few days later. Excellent service.
