I bought a life insurance policy this morning for me and my husband after seeing the promis advert on TV. The rep on the phone was really friendly and helpful she answered all of my questions and gave me various different quotes. I wish I could remember her name she was brilliant!

Choose a policy that pays the funeral director directly
I would urge people to choose a policy that pays a funeral director, NOT a person.
The Promislife advert is very positive, and reassures that funeral costs will be covered. My father bought into it, as he did not want to burden his family with these costs. He was a very proud man, and took pride in the fact that he “had everything in order” when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer last year.
Unfortunately, my father trusted the wrong person to take care of his funeral costs, and my sister and I had no option but to pay the £4K+ invoice from the funeral director.
Despite several calls to Promislife, when the named person on the policy was threatening to withhold the insurance, they paid that person a lump sum, which she kept for herself.
I will be reviewing this company far and wide, and I will be in touch with their underwriter and the FPA too, urging Promislife to change their terms, so that nobody else has to go through the stress and upset that me and my sister endured.

This company have been harassing me …
This company have been harassing me with calls 4 or 5 times a day. If you answer they are really rude if you tell them you do not want their services....and they still keep calling.
