Superb plants
The choice of varieties was not those usually offered, the plants arrived well packaged in biodegradable cardboard and were a very healthy and decent size plug. They have been potted on and are all growing away really well. Extremely satisfied and will definitely be supporting this worthy cause again soon.

Amazing company
Over the years I have bought countless "plug plants" from "renound" organisations that have arrived dead or close to dead. After a Google search for Brussell sprouts (caterpillars ate all mine) I found ""Propagation Place" a Bristol based charity that sells plugs. Wow. What an amazing company. So impressed with the price, speed of delivery, the packaging and the condition of the plants we received.

My baby turnips sprouts & spinach arrived very carefully wrapped…. I always feel this company grows plants with a lot of love so I treated my new little babies with a lot of love when I planted them…. Slug repellent & cloches and compost 🤞🤞here’s hoping slugs & pigeons stay well away..

Great plants but a bit too late sadly
Squash plants arrived in great condition and in fantastic packaging, but they just arrived far too late in the growing season and are still tiny. I can't see me getting a harvest this year, which is disappointing. Would use them again if they can deliver more promptly. For now, looking enviously at my plot neighbours squash plants!

I received my two types of kale plant…
I received my two types of kale plant plugs beautifully packaged and they were fine despite the post office taking them away and not leaving them on the doorstep even although propagation place had put a big sign on the packet.
The problem is that one of the sets of kale was very small and probably not ready to go out yet. I have planted both sets and can tell you more in a few months time if the small kale takes well.

Great plants in sustainable packaging
I have a new garden, and haven't had time to grow from seed as I usually do. I ordered broccoli, everlasting spinach, winter lettuce and corn salad plugs and some artichoke plants. I was amazed by the prompt delivery of good quality plants in the best thought out sustainable packing ever. The plants arrived in good condition despite the heat wave and are growing on well in their new home. I'll definitely order from Propagation Place again.

This is the second time I have used you . First time was very positive but this second collection of plants was very thin - some of the brassicas were not at their best. But it was the small amount for such a high price that I found upsetting. Sadly I can not recommend you .

Even though we are a small charity delivering vital services to our community from the funds generated by our plant sales, we still hold ourselves to a high standard and we do try to keep delays and refunds to a minumum, though these do happen with any business. We strive to be industry leaders in all things sustainable and we believe that this starts at home, with our social work, our focus on good environmental practise, and in building community locally and with our national customers at the forefront. Sometimes our charitable status means that our budget doesn's stretch as far as some bigger nurseries, and this can mean delays as our small staffing team strive to get all the deliveries out mid-season while continuing to deliver the aspects of our social enterprise. We are very grateful to our customers who take the time to understand our business model and the work that we do, and your patience is indeed much appreciated. Healthy plug plants delivered well
Healthy plug plants delivered well. I thought the packaging was great and kept the plug plants in good condition until they arrived at my door step. Unfortunately I didn't get any notification to say the plants had been dispatched but it worked out okay as the package was delivered to a safe space as I was out.
Good variety of different autumn veggies. All have now been planted and are growing strong so far.

We keep trying to get on top of the delivery notifications issue and this is somehting we will be bringing up again with our carrier over the quieter months as we are aware that it is a big issue that needs addressing. We will also look at our own IT systems to see if there is a way of adding a dispatch notifcation.
