Awful
Awful. Just awful.
The website is Jurassic. You can’t change ANY direct debit details online, it HAS to be done by post. You can’t change the date your payment comes out. The customer service team are useless and don’t care to help you at all. If you don’t pay to the minute you get completely hounded - texts, calls, emails, letters (even after payment has been made!) Borderline harassment.
Unfortunately I still have another 2 years of paying off my car and reading these reviews I’m dreading what will happen at the end of the lease!
Unacceptable service
Bought a new car with a hefty downpayment. The dealership set up the direct debit well before I got the car. PSA failed to take the first DD payment, didn't bother to contact me - just moved straight to sending a threatening letter. Checked my online PSA account - the direct debit is set up with my correct bank details. Checked with my bank - the direct debit is set up (and shows in my online banking). It's simply PSA not trying to draw the money. Their phone operators are dishonest and this method of communication provides no evidence to prove my efforts. Tried to contact them via their official email and got an immediate auto-response indicating they weren't even looking at emails. Had to send letter by recorded delivery. If they don't respond to that I'm reporting them to the FCA.
Utter shambles
In all my years of dealing with financial organisations, PSA Finance have been by far the worst. I never missed a payment and didn't have an issue until I was alerted to extortionate charges following the inspection and collection of the vehicle at the end of my contract (for which I was not present). I received a letter informing me over £2,000 was due. I raised a formal dispute but PSA Finance still attempted to debit it from my bank account. Luckily I had already cancelled the DD but I had to speak to my bank, at length, to ensure no payments would be made as PSA Finance advised me they would make a further attempt to debit the amount. It has been, and continues to be, a very stressful experience. I will never use this company again and would rather have a bank loan than take out finance with such a shambolic organisation who think its acceptable to hound people for money, especially when it's disputed. In addition the overall customer service is unacceptable and needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency. There appears to be a lot of inexperienced staff who have little or no empathy when dealing with distressed customers. It's sad to see I am one of many who have been left feeling so distressed. I struggle to give one star rating for this organisation and only wish zero was an option.

PSA Finance is the worst company I have ever encountered regarding trying to use their website. I have been trying for months to get the confusion sorted out, online, by telephone and writing to them.
Therefore as from today I will not be using there website, I am 77 years and age and my husband is 81. We have had enough.
Treat with respect and get the same in return….

As most of us tackle financial issues and difficulties PSA, particularly Jessica M, have been an absolute lifeline for me and my family.
I can’t thank Jessica enough as she has been absolutely fantastic and it’s a shame not all companies have staff like this. I personally want to thank her and her manager for all the help they have provided.

Extra payments
Had a lease car for three years without any problem always paid on time. Had car serviced every year and a mot just before the car was handed back. Upon inspection the rep found a small tack in the tyre which had not deflated and I had no idea how long it may of been there. Inspection halted and rebooked, tyre sorted, inspection passed bye bye car. I was then issued with a default notice for a payment of £120 for the second inspection, had to pay as never had a default notice or its kind before. Then nearly 4 months after the car had been returned another invoice for £25. When queried it turned out to be due to having a private plate on the car. I'm so sure that I was informed this was free when I put the plate on and then when removed plus why 4 months later. Had no help from the company my advise get everything in writing. Beware

Financing balloon payment
I tried to finance the balloon payment on my account which took 3 weeks of constant emails and phone calls which was very frustrating and stressful! Finally got the finance sorted out, only to have the balloon payment taken from my bank account making me £4759.11 overdrawn. I had to call my bank to reverse the transaction - not impressed!
