The introduction to this service was wonderful and Kim and the production team have been great in producing a lovely book of my late mother's experiences in the second world war though the proof reading was not without its problems. My project manager has sadly left the company and I am left with someone disagreeable who refuses to sort out a couple of problems I am having.

I had been working with Publishing Push for more then 1 year and published 2 books. They are a lovely team, very good, kind, helpful, supportive in all ways and made my experience amazing.

This is Tony Wilson the author of Pigeons Do Talk. I thought the initial contacts were excellent. The cover design of the book 10/10. My original contact left the company. There was no real phone contact about the project and extras like twitter etc which I did not understand. I feel it would be better for them to interact more by phone rather than the faceless internet. On the plus side they did the job as originally quoted. Overall, I am satisfied but they have room for improvement.

I can’t thank them enough. Publishing push have been excellent in all they do. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Some of the best customer service I have ever received. The element of surprise dissappears when doing this electronically and I'm very much old school.I also have serious mental health issues. However as it has been very difficult to speak to you personally I will let you know this way. Scott(in Spain) has been supporting me throughout the process of putting my book together and getting it published. I have very limited IT skills and as mentioned, issues mentally. Scott has gone way over and above what he needed to do in order to support me and has been a pillar of strength, nothing has been too much trouble for him. As an ex HR manager of a very large department I was always ready to redirect my staff were it to be necessary but I was also always ready to praise my staff when it was appropriate. I don't own a smartphone and have never been on any social media platform and yet Scott has risen to the challenge. Although I have written all my life, Born Under The Clouds was the very first book I had published. Stacey you're a little gem, you understood all my requirements and more than delivered. My wife and I spent over a year, trying to get a company interested in working directly with me - the author, to publish my book, without any success.
My wife shouted one evening that she had found the company to use, which was called Publishing Push.
She showed me one of Patrick's advertising videos. I looked through it and I said, "it sounds too good to be true" could be an extremely clever con" - and anyway, I don't particularly like its' name.
My wife said - if we don't take the risk with Publishing Push, what other option do we currently have and are likely to have?
This razor-sharp question cut into my Brain and I said "you're right. Let's take the risk"
It was one of the best decisions of my life!!
I have told you this story because other authors may have reacted as I did and Publishing Push may wish to address this possibility in their advertising.
My book is a factual one with the title: YOUR CONSCIOUS BRAIN, how does it all work and Why.
It comprises of 765 pages with a detailed index of 24 pages, due to the numerous chapters and sub chapters etc. It required an immense amount of time for the Proof reading, followed by the detailed formatting, checking and implementing changes as required, all of which I was involved with as required.
I found working with Publishing Push an absolute pleasure and would like to highlight Patrick (the owner) and Scott who led my project.
I would like to thank Publishing Push for the immense help they gave me, both in the process of producing the superb quality of my book and of its' publication, which was 10 months after I began working with them.

As a new author, and having spent years researching and writing a memoir, I didn't know quite where to turn when it it came to getting it published. I'm very glad that I eventually found Publishing Push and decided to self-publish with their help.

Right from my first contact with them their responses to my enquiries have been rapid and helpful. I needed my book to be proofread and formatted ready for publishing in paperback and e-book formats and I needed an eye-catching cover design. I was guided through the whole process by Kim, who did a superb job, answering my questions and organising everything very efficiently.

Three months after starting the process, my book went live on Amazon and Kindle last week. It feels like a great achievement!

The pricing of the services Publishing Push provides is transparent and competitive. Royalties will be mine and not shared as they would be with a traditional publisher.

I can thoroughly recommend Publishing Push.

The staff is really helpful and kind. They communicate with transparence and they make their best to provide the right advice.

What I didn't like is i found the service a bit expensive and also a bit slow and in some cases I had to do some follow ups to get updates.

But at the end the book was published successfully and they have provided a very complete service. Quality is better than rushing.

I am highly ambivalent about my experience with Publishing Push. While I am happy with the book I finally have in my hands (thank you), it was certainly not 'without lifting a finger' as the package blurb claims. The initial formatted drafts were full of inconsistencies and felt like they'd been rushed off with very little care or thought.
My enormous disappointment however is around the marketing side. Now it's too late, I have come to learn that PP does not - as I had mistakenly understood from their own selling of their package - include a marketing package but rather is product focussed only. While they may make your book AVAILABLE to X thousands of distribution outlets this does not necessarily translate as one single sale, or your book appearing on the shelf of one single bookshop. I am left with a beautiful book that I now have no idea how I am going to get out into the world.

I dithered about bringing out the text of a co-translated corpus, which was the basis of an M. Phil project. Having looked at a numbers of options, I finally decided on Publishing Push, who made the experience an interesting one. I had many conversations, exchanges, edits and am now pleased to have ordered my first copy.

Publishing push has been a great help to get my book self published. As a new author they were able to explain in detail what was needed to get my book published to a very high standard and have a high quality book cover and illustrations on the cover to make it vibrant and inviting to the readers. They ensured they understood what I was looking for and came up with a very good cover to approve. Very helpful.

A great way to navigate the process of book publishing with your hand held by experts. I really appreciated the advice and dialogue around certain aspects and the customisation to my specific needs.
