Rubbish, 50 texts today and still counting. Go away pumpkins with your less than impressive prices.

I agree with every bad review here. For those of you with an android phone you can block the texts. Click the 3 dots at the top of the page and go into settings then block messages. There is an option where you can block a phrase...use the first 3 words of the pump king text and that should work.

Pump king are waste of time. prices are more than forecourt prices and to cap it all I have had in excess of 50 texts and counting this morning informing me of a pump price. absolute rubbish!!!!

Shambolic. Scarily inefficient. Sainsbury's and nectar points a better bet.

40 texts and counting today, having waited months for my card I have not used it yet as prices do not appear to be truly discounted compared to the prices locally.
Can’t even access their website to complain re being bombarded by texts currently as web site appears to have vanished or been taken down.
Would not recommend as to take a card you have to provide your debit card details and there appear no option to remove them easily !

50 text so far in the last 2 hours. All The more painful as I’m abroad paying to receive texts and need to keep my phone on.
At least there is someone to call to stop this. Or B!!

I’ve had this card a few months and used it twice, I’ve had threatening emails/text saying that they were unable to take payment even though there were funds and card details were correct.

Today like others I have been bombarded with text messages, I’ve lost count.

Absolute shower. Months and months for the card to arrive, prices always more expensive EVEN THAN my nearest actual Esso garage, and now a denial of service level cock up with texts coming in to my phone every thirty seconds for the last hour or so. Shutting my account, steer clear of these absolute clowns.

I don't quite get why there are suddenly numerous bad reviews on here simply because people are receiving a string of repeat texts from Pump-King (I'm currently on 43).
Personally, I've had a pretty good experience, my card arrived quickly, I save anywhere between 2p and 14p per litre of derv at my nearest stations, and yes supermarket fuel is a tad cheaper but personally, I don't go a lot on supermarket fuel.
For now, I'll just mute text notifications and get on with my day, I'm sure this "text glitch" will get sorted soon.

To silence notifications on an Android (I'm on android 9):
1) Open the Pumpking message(s)
2) Click the 3 dots to open message settings
3) Click "Details"
4) Click "Notifications"
From here you can adjust message notifications just from this sender, change notification sound to silent, turn on/off banner and status bar notifications or simply turn off all notifications from Pumpking.

As many others ridiculous amount of texts. Not as if its much of a discount where we live anyway. Will cancel on Monday.

I have had 30/40 texts this morning and blocking doesn't work.
But if get the text number (tap on pump king in the messages and try and call it will give you a number) Its 7867 5464.
Add them to your contacts. Then go to settings then phone,scoll down to blocked list the use the add tab to add pump king to the list.
This stoped the texts. I hope this helps.

Given their website is down and texts in a loop I'm a bit concerned they've been hacked. Keep an eye on bank account just in case.

Same as everyone else. I’ve even looked back to the original text from them that say “text STOP to ‭07860 039525‬ to unsubscribe” but I’ve still had one as I’m typing this.

Terrible service! Card took nearly 2 months to arrive used once then had to wait for another new card due to some system errors!
Price is currently higher than the forecourt! So much for the savings!!
And as others have said nearly 50 identical texts sent since 11am, can’t block. Just keep coming.
Website appears to have broken. All seems quite dodgy! Will be cancelling when I can actually get to my account!
Avoid them! Save yourselves the hassle!

Looks like I am not the only one having to put my phone to silent.
33 text messages from them all the same messages.
Can't block them as no number associated with them.
Make that 34 another just arrived. Appalling!

Sadly they just started again, what a shambolic company. Website down, just spoken to bank to advise any payments to them are fraudulent. Hope it isn't anything untoward.

Like others I too am getting continual texts and I am unable to stop them. They are driving me bats!!!!!!
Thanks to a reviewer I have blocked the number via phone book and I’ve not received anymore texts.

Same as previous messages. Have now received over 60 messages this morning even after cancelling account last week!! Had enough as couldn't block them so called non emergency police, their advice was to ring ofcom ICO department and report it then they said if we are on Facebook to put it on there and spread the word!

Rubbish - one text a minute since 11am! Price quoted is higher than available locally so pretty useless!
