Prices are more expensive than elsewhere and being bombarded with text messages has put the final nail in the coffin for this company.

Not sure if I've managed to stop the texts, or they've fixed their system?!
I was unable to block the texts as there was no associated number visible when trying. I found the number 7867 5464 come up when I tried calling, so added this number as a contact, then blocked the contact. So far no further texts.
Anyone else tried this or not and the texts have stopped?

As others have said
JUST TO ADD TO MY REVIEW
IT LOOKS LIKE THEIR WEBSITE HAS BEEN HACKED. KEEP SN EYE ON YOUR REGISTERED PAYMENT METHOD. DETAILS MAY HAVE BEEN STOLEN.
As others have said. Appalling company. Just received over 50 texts in 12 minuets for their fuel price update. Cannot block as texts are automated from an 8 digit number. Texts still coming as I type. Fuel is always cheaper from supermarket forecourts anyway. Don't bother applying for a card. They don't reply, office is always shut and website rarely works.
what savings . Poor
I too today have had nothing but bombardment from pump king telling me there prices for members. Which above all is supposed to be a saving. I have used them once and since them they are definitely no cheaper . In fact if I go to my local Esso garage the prices is the same on the forecourt, as what is sent in the text message where is the shavings? I won’t be using this I’ll stick to Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Asda. Like the other member, whilst typing the review I have had 5 more texts, non stop in the last 30 mins. Even switched phone off as it’s so annoying. . I just need the text number to 🛑 stop .

Have now got 27 texts on the same petrol costs, like a few other people here with their comments. Talk about wasting my time on the phone. What the hell Pump King!!!? You're certainly the Pimp King to wasting my time! Make that 29 texts now. Am getting fed up with this, need to work out how to delete this! Make that 30 texts and counting! Thanks for the update to the 'STOP' text number
Went from good to bad and now it's just annoying...
Was not too bad in terms of discounts to begin with but recently the prices offered are not any different to the standard price at the pump at my local Esso. For some reason this morning I've been getting constant text messages with next week's prices and their website has disappeared with no way to contact them or to even block the messages. Soon as I'm able to contact them I'll be cancelling my membership because this is just ridiculous.

What a shambles
What a shambles, From the outset cards had to be re-issued after weeks of delay. I posed a question regarding using the card on more than one car. After 10 days of chasing I was asked to re-submit my question and have still not received a response now nearly 3 weeks after my initial email. Getting any response on the telephone is a joke.
To cap it all, like other responders, I have received some 30 text messages this morning informing me of this weeks prices and cannot stop them. Of course their office is unmanned so cannot speak to anyone. I can purchase fuel cheaper elsewhere so am cancelling my agreement as now I don't trust the security of their systems.

About 30 text messages this morning and no way to block them. Customer services not open on a Saturday. Awful.

78 messages so far and office closed so can't even raise an issue. Website down so can't login and cancel alerts . Price at pump has been cheaper than the card rate for weeks. Time to cancel account when I can get on
Current service is a shambles
Had to wait for months for the card to arrive having joined when it was esso and the savings were decent through blue light card Couldn’t use them because the card hadn’t arrived in time. Now that I have a card, suddenly the prices have gone up. Admittedly the price is better than my local esso but can easily be beaten by supermarkets and I would use the card only when absolutely necessary. But now suddenly I’m receiving numerous messages from pump-king about this weeks rate. Went to the website and it had gone, Replaced by a pantheon logo. I am concerned it has been hacked and now concerned about my bank details.

This morning I am receiving a text message every minute to 90 seconds and you are unable to block them this is absolutely infuriating and bordering on harassment.

Never received card and now getting continuous SMS messages. Why did anyone ever recommend this pathetic service?
Repeated texts!! Aarrggh!
Today I am getting pump king texts, non stop, every few minutes!! Argh!! 27 texts and counting! X
First impression is very poor!!!
Used my card for first time other day.
Have received text message about fuel prices over 30 times in half hour and still coming, now website is unavailable.
On top of this fuel price seems higher than on forecourt so am concerned that MORE money than receipt will be taken from my account.
Not happy with this first experience at all!
