Pure Legal were exceptional in their swift response to my data breach claim and processed this within the same day I contacted them.
This is a very good service and I would request that other people with similar data breach victims use Pure Legal.

Feel like I am wasting my time - updated
(UPDATE - now spoken to somebody who finally called back - I have been advised that my case is complicated because it is not calculated in the same way that some cases are - there is no timeline possible as this is new law and I couldn't get any idea of how long it will take - not even that it would be within the next five years. Have asked for emails just to confirm they are still working on it but otherwise seems I should just forget the claim for now.) I have been waiting for a resolution for a claim since early 2018 - it was originally with another company who passed to this firm in 2018 - every time I call I get told I will get a call back today or tomorrow - the claim is backed by an insurance policy which does not cost me anything but means the firm will get paid and so far I cannot see that they are doing anything to warrant them getting anything - happy to review again if they ever actually do anything but 3 years down the line is twice the maximum time period I was given and even allowing for Covid this is not acceptable

Well it’s hard for me to give a review…
Well it’s hard for me to give a review at this time, I’ve only just had my case accepted on a no win, no fee basis.
Thus far all I can say is getting started was hassle free, everything was done online and over the phone, making the “data breach” claim couldn’t of been any easier, I’ll be in a position to comment further once a settlement has been reached!
But I can safely say should I get the amount discussed using an example case similar in content to my own, then I’d be giving “Pure Legal” full marks of 5/5!
When I am given the results of the claim they’re handling for me and the settlement is in my account then I will review this review and bring it upto date!
All I can do insofar is recommend “Pure Legal” should you have a data breach claim as on a nwnf basis you receive 100 percent of what the claim is worth, and you can’t do any better than that! Everything was explained in a very professional manner, polite and friendly, look no further!!!
28/06/22 *In addition: Part way through my claim the company folded, I now have no representation!!!

Started off great
Started off great, built up a great relationship with Chris mcnara (sorry if thats spelt wrong!) But as he moved on i was then passed from pillar to post with various other case handlers. This was both annoying and frustrating, i believe the whole process was alot longer than needed due to this, despite the covid situation already not helping. The final payout sum was in my opinion also very deflating considering how long it took and how much stress i went through during this, having known the figure i wouldn't of bothered pursuing the case if im honest. The encrypted messages where very difficult to navigate as im very useless on a computer/technology. The lady who sent me this review offer was lovely and very helpful may i add. Overall im happy with my experience with Pure but do hope theres a few key points here to just tweek and amend. Thankyou all.

Worst company ever
Worst company ever. Used these for a cavity wall claim and the case was ended back in Sept 2019. I’ve got a email to say to close the case proceedings have started fast forward till now and looks like it’s still open . I’ve had countless chasing phone calls and emails but no one cares at this company. Stay well clear

Eveyone is so nice and helpful helping with my data breach claim. Can't really fault them but the process is incredibly long, but that's not their fault.
I love the fact you can just text them on WhatsApp.

POOR SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION
POOR SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION. My case was assigned to Pure Legal back in 2019. February 2020 I was told it would be assigned a 'fee earner in about a year. So a year on in February 2021, I called again and a nice man said he'd seen there had been a delay and that from now on, I could deal directly with him rather than going through customer service. After chatting he said that after the call he'd email his contact details. Can you guess what happened? Correct! He didn't call or email. So last week, I chased again. The first person said they couldn't locate my account. I hung up and called a different number and got through (Googling pure Legal throws up lots of results). They found my account and said a 'fee earner' would contact me. I'm still waiting. I wonder how long it is until I get an actual update from this elusive 'fee earner'?

I’d give no stars if I could
I’d give no stars if I could, absolute SCAM.was cold called by them as I had overpaid mortgage interest. Was told they had the documents and to sign an insurance form for which I reluctantly signed, after numerous phone calls, was told it was with their legal team.one year later , absolutely no contact from them. How did they get the original information without my authority?please also see google reviews, all the same, terrible. They take the insurance money and do nothing. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM

great company! Received my compensation.
I have recently claimed data breach and have received my compensation. Matthew from pure legal has been amazing! He has made sure I understood everything and contacted me through every step of the claim. I would highly recommend this company and Matthew himself. I have also spoke to other members of pure legal and everyone is very kind and helpful!

No contact since Dec 2020 for Easyjet data breach
Following a Easyjet data breach, I contacted Pure to start a claim. My contact details had been accessed and after a previous situation, I knew how vulnerable it made me feel and wanted to ensure my information was safe and it seemed the route of a claim was a good idea. I am now nearly a year on and have not had any update from Pure since December 2020. I signed a contract 2 months prior to their contact stopping and I do now feel as though they have given up with keeping me in the loop. I cant get hold of them at all.
At this point, I feel they have taken my money and just not bothered to update me.
The last I heard was via a text message and that they would update me soon. Almost 4 months on and still nothing yet.

£2000 thank you
I have opened a claim with pure legal about 1 year ago for data breach. Like everyone else i have done it trough the facebook messenger. My case manager Stuart who was really professional and kept me updated at every stage of the case have managed to settle the case and got me a £2000 compensation. To reassure everyone else, yes you will need to take a loan to fund your case but as theres an insurance on it, even if you loose the case you won’t have to pay anything at all, however pure-legal will never tell you to go forward if theres not a good chance of winning the case. Remember things take time but i pays out at the end. Thanks Pure Legal, I have now a £2k pot fund for when pubs re-open lol.

I was well informed during the process
I was well informed during the process. Mr Allan and Michelle were particularly helpful. I would have liked to have secured more funds from the commission claim but none the less it was a small victory.
