Puttstars at the Springs, Leeds
We visited Puttstars Golf at the Springs, Leeds. We booked via the website and took advantage of the offer - 2 games plus a drink for £10.50.
On arrival the reception staff were cheerful and helpful and pointed us in the correct direction for the first course
Both courses were fun and had different degrees of difficulty. Each course was clean and well maintained.
The atmosphere within the venue was chilled and we had a great time playing golf.
The drinks included in the promotion were varied so we weren't stuck drinking beer or wine.
The pizza came within 15 minutes as promised.
Overall our experience was 5 star, no complaints at all and good value for money. Well worth a visit.

Don’t be fooled…
Sold online as a new, fancy mini golf with loads of cool technology and scoring….is actually just a fairly plain regular mini golf. Just over priced at that. Don’t be fooled. I can’t see it lasting long as won’t ever get repeat customers using this poor marketing con

Poor value for money
Poor value for money, not alot of golf. Holes are too easy and spent lots of time waiting even though didnt seem that busy and holes over far too quickly.

Duck pin bowling was great we took our 2 and 5 year old girls. They could both join in and we managed to keep their full attention for a whole game which we can't with normal bowling.

Quick service, good price
Quick service, good price. The only downside was that part of the course we played was broken and we weren't informed about it in advance. May well visit again to take advantage of the family meal deal.

Visited the Leeds branch and it was very busy and unfortunately we were sandwiched between two large groups. The group of adults in front of us was very slow and the group behind would not wait until we had finished playing the hole before they started moving on to it and started to play before we had finished.
Our granddaughter eventually wanted to leave as it wasn’t pleasant waiting a long time for the group in front and being rushed by the people behind us. The toilets are filthy and the doors do not lock and the seats are hanging off. Don’t waste money on the amusements as you pay £1 for most things and the machines spew out tickets that are exchanged for a voucher. After spending a fortune in the amusements we exchanged our voucher for 2 mini bags of Haribo! Again after having a fistful of tickets our Granddaughter was very underwhelmed at the choice she had for her voucher…..the amusements area is an expensive rip off!
We will not be returning.

Had a fantastic time
Had a fantastic time, all the courses and instructions were easy to follow, and reasonably priced, also think it’s a great idea having reduced prices for participation of online interaction.
Will definitely come again.

Decent courses
Decent courses, very clean and fairly priced, however, staff member let it down massively and this is the feedback I left
Staff member "Igoras" is possibly the rudest most self entitled person I've ever dealt with.
A young man was.ordering a drink and Igoras told him "you can't be here if you're not doing anything, so I'll give you 5 or 10 minutes *it depends how I'm feeling really* then I'll make you leave" The young man had already told him he was waiting for friends and he was buying drinks, he did not deserve that attitude.
Then my personal dealing at the same time, asked for a pool cue, he said £5 deposit, I only had £4 and had already paid for the table, my sons autistic and was focused on playing so I said "Will four do, I only want one cue" and he replied while turning his back to me "already said £5 minimum didn't I?"
The nice young man who had also felt his wrath gave me the extra £1
It was disgusting behaviour from a staff member, clearly on a power trip and he is the reason we left rather than play arcades.

Such fun!
We visited the new site in Peterborough and it was so much fun! The course was fun, exciting, clean and the time was about an hour for two courses for a group of 4.
Price does vary depending on when you visit but wouldn’t pay the full price. It says from £10 for two courses which I would pay but when you go into booking the prices then varies. It went to £14 so just double check.
We asked what courses are the best.. one upstairs is the easiest, the master course is the hardest but so much fun.
Prices for the drinks was very good large soft drink £3.
Highly recommend!

Initial thoughts… we walked in and thought this is going to be great. We had never been before and thought we should try puttstars.
Point one. Me and my son used the toilet, the toilet was filthy, the sanitary bin was overflowing and there was rubbish all over the floor.
Point two. We went to go get drinks from the bar, we waited what seemed like a good 15 minutes as two staff members were fixing the ice cream machine. Once we finally got to the bar a very unenthusiastic member of staff served us, we ordered a drink for our son, my husband got a drink but mid way through serving us bent down and proceeded to fill in a form and ignored us for a few moments. I asked for a corona in a bottle but got a pint… the staff member if they were paying attention should have given me a bottle because that is what I asked for. There was no customer service, no smiles nothing. We paid for our drinks and walked away very disappointed. On taking a sip of drink my husband asked me to smell his drink which smelt like a fart in a glass!!! We were so down and upset about our experience that we left the drink and continued on to play golf.
Overall we are disappointed with the service and the actual facility. Spending £40 on tickets and then a further £20 on arcades that ate our money and then the disappointing drinks and service behind the bar. We planned this as a family evening with our son and we walked away very sad, disappointed and feeling sick from the drink that had been served to us.
It’s fare to say we will not be returning to puttstars.

Over Priced
First time at the place. Paid £40 for myself and 2 kids. The whole experience is rushed and very bad value for money. We were in and out in an hour and wasn’t going to spend anymore money there. Won’t be rushing back - maybe if someone else pays.

Fun experience
Hello. A first time visit. Good fun playing mini golf then arcade games. Great for primary age children. Game completed within 30 minutes. Arcade fun afterwards.

Really fun course and wide open space enough room for everyone the music wasn't too loud and the place including toilets was clean.Only downside the air conditioning was little to none on a really hot evening!

Staff were very helpful with a poorly child, couldn’t have done more. The games were very clean and although busy everything kept moving. We took 19 people and ages ranged from 5yrs to 72yrs and we all have a great time. Bar was busy but you expect that but great value and lots of variety. Highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere, but toilet not fit for use!
Staff were helpful, unfortunately 1 of the rounds of golf wasn't working and we weren't told about it. Great amusements/arcades with some accepting card payment over cash. Great idea!
What is a huge let down is the toilet facilities. Gents toilet was not fit for use at all. No toilet roll, urinals blocked with filled up urine, soap dispensers broken off the wall. Very poorly maintained.

Great experience for all the family
Great experience for all the family, always enjoy the atmosphere and never too over crowded.
amusements great, staff on the bar a little bit lost , but other than that great place!

Please sir can I go to the toilet
Mini golf and amusements brilliant. Bar and food good quality however the toilets now have coded locks on and you have to find a staff member to ask to unlock and go to the toilet.
I went with my wife and 2 young children and the people hanging around in there not buying anything or playing mini golf made the atmosphere of the place terrible…
Great idea but badly run and unfortunately in the wrong location
