After a careful consideration, I am changing this review to 5 starts for these specific reasons:
- PVY did their best to deliver the package to me and delivered it, even though with a delay. The problem was caused by the postal company
- PVY replied to all my requests and helped me with the problems.
- Some problems, however, I had to fix in a local repair shop like cracking noise that was caused by loose screws in the middle of the bike.
______
Issues I encountered before.
- Logistics company issue, asking company for a refund and instead they keep trying to deliver anyways...
- Bad English communication. Some of their support people say the package was delivered, even though it wasn't.
- Inability to send the bike to a parcel shop. Asking to send to the nearest parcel shop leads to them asking for a new address instead...

Pluses:
Very robust construction
Powerful and fast
Suitable even for taller riders (I’m 185 cm tall, but my 203 cm neighbor was able to pedal it too)
My version allows throttle use in any selected PAS mode (I believe earlier versions only allowed throttle in PAS 0)
When throttle is active, pedaling doesn’t interrupt it — useful for unloading the motor and extending range
When folded, I was able to fit it into the trunk of a VW Golf!
Neutral / Minor downsides:
The weight — expected with this type of bike, but it still requires some strength to lift into a car trunk
Folding mechanism could use occasional oiling
The chain seemed to have slightly more oil than necessary
Directional side lights are very hard to see during daytime, and the thumb switch is not easy to identify or feel for its current position
My observations:
Pedaling with a cadence sensor in urban areas can be tricky. Any pedaling leads to reaching the preset speed of the selected PAS level — it's hard to maintain a speed "between" PAS steps. The only precise way to control speed is using the throttle, which may go against local legislation in some countries.
Suggestions for manufacturer improvement:
The brake light is very weak and also much smaller than the tail light — switching their positions might be a good idea
Range Test Review
I tested the mileage range of my e-bike under the following conditions:
• The battery was fully charged for the third time.
• Test temperature ranged from around 20°C at the start to 17°C at the end.
• My weight is 76 kg.
• The terrain was very flat, with a maximum elevation change of about 15 meters.
• The surface was asphalt, wind was light, and tire pressure was set to the maximum.
• I used only pure electric mode (no pedaling), riding mostly on PAS level 4 at full throttle.
• To minimize environmental effects (wind, slope, etc.), I rode a "there-and-back" route — returning the same way I came.
• I maintained a steady speed with very little acceleration.
At the beginning, the bike maintained a speed of about 36–38 km/h, and toward the end, it dropped to around 30 km/h. I ended the test when the battery voltage dropped to about 42V, mostly because it was getting dark and cold to me. The total distance I covered was 45 km.
Since there were still about 2V left in the battery, I estimate that a full discharge would give close to 50 km of range in full throttle steady mode — which is pretty good!
Note: This was all done at PAS level 4, with an average speed slightly over 30 km/h. For reference, 40V is the cut-off voltage where the last bar on the battery indicator disappears.

Battery Behavior & Power Usage
The default battery that came with the bike has a dynamic ‘voltage’, which changes depending on the current draw (in Amps):
• At PAS 4 with a steady ride, my display showed around 10 Amps, and voltage was about 52V when fully charged. That means power consumption was roughly 500W (52V × 9–10A).
• Toward the end, power dropped to about 300–380W (42V × 7–9A).
• After resting a few minutes, the voltage would rise to around 44V — but this can be misleading and shouldn’t be seen as “available” battery.
In city rides, when the battery is near 42V, heavy acceleration can spike the current to 20 Amps, which may cause the voltage to drop below 40V. When this happens, the bike cuts power to the motor and you’ll need to pedal manually. However, once voltage rises again above 40V (after stopping or waiting), the motor kicks back in. You can also reset the system by switching it off and on again after some rest time.

I bought PVY Z20 Max almost 2 weeks ago. Since this time I forgot about car:) it is absolutely amazing bike and riding experience. Comfortable size, great suspension.
Battery life time is more that enough for me - I can ride more that 70km just on electric engine, with my weight 82kg within one charging. It potentially could make more, but I didn’t test yet)
I didn’t even expect that it could be this great.

Good job PVY,
i have so much fun with the PVY Z20 Plus!
So far so good.
The customer service is always attentive and you get the feeling that you're taken seriously as a customer.
But Pvy should change a few minor things, though.
1. The handlebar grips are a disaster. They're too small and very hard... I'll replace them.
2. My bike didn't come with an extra bicycle bell, which is unfortunately mandatory here in Germany. Electronic bells are not permitted and must be deactivated in Germany.
3. The battery is audible in the frame and must be secured additionally. It was easy to fix.
Otherwise, I'm very happy with the bike. I live in Black Forest Germany and that's what this bike is made for. Uphill climbs are no problem and the tires practically grip any surface.
The delivery time was ok, around 4-5 working days.
Now the bike just has to prove its durability.

I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The customer service was top-notch—friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to my questions. It's clear they care about their customers and go the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly.
The payment process was super convenient with multiple options available, which made things really easy. No hassle at all, just a few taps and I was ready to go!
The ride itself was very enjoyable—comfortable, clean, and smooth all the way. You can tell they prioritize both safety and customer satisfaction. I’ll definitely be riding again and recommending this service to friends and family.
If you're looking for a reliable, stress-free experience with great support and user-friendly payment methods, this is the way to go!

Bikes are honest for what they cost, but the after sales is shocking. They send wrong parts after long wait, absolutely drag their feet to reimburse labour costs and communicate sparingly. A nightmare.
Make yourself a favour, buy a bike by a local shop.

Since the moment i liked the bike eveything went well. The custommer service answered my questions promptly. The bike itself is maybe the best bike for 2025 with amazing price / value ratio. Powerful, full suspension, battery with huge capacity from Samsung.

Fantastic bike and fabulous to ride, extra strong frame and nice thick 4” tyres, easy to operate and a great size which I was worried about because I’m 6ft 1 and 14 1/2 stone but I’m sure it will take someone much taller and heavier, the delivery was approximately 9 days which was good and tracking was given throughout

I spent a long time choosing a model to buy three identical bicycles for the whole family. I chose the Z20 Max model. I liked it because of its long range, folding and weight compared to similar models. Plus shock absorbers in the back and front. I first ordered one bicycle to try for everyone in the family. It suited everyone. I ordered two more. In my opinion, the price-quality ratio is good! I also liked the hydraulic brakes. In general, the first impression is good, and then time will tell!

I have only given one star as zero wasn't an option. Husband's bike developed fault almost immediately. It has been away with engineers for 5 months and there is a string of countless emails all initiated by my husband. Bike was returned finally today and unbelievably is not fixed. Literally cannot believe that in this day and age customer service as bad as this exists. DO NOT BUY A BIKE FROM THIS COMPANY.
Update 1: 12/5/25 Usual response below. I'm afraid on past experiences we're not hopeful of a resolution. I'll keep you posted.
Update 2: 13/5/25. Husband told to check his nuts (on a bike that's just come back from being with PVY's chosen repair engineers for 5 months) This advice was given in November last year (email number 3 of 112). Here we go again!
Update 3: 14/5/25. There seems to be an obsession with PVY's UK repair centre with my husband's nuts as he's been asked AGAIN to check them. But PVY Jeff on Facebook is now on the case. Let's see if he can bring this debacle to a successful end.
Update 4: 15/5/25. PVY want the bike to be sent back to the repair engineers where it’s spent the last 5 months being ‘repaired’.
Update 5: 16/5/25. The power of social media! PVY Geoff has arranged for a new rear wheel and motor to be sent to our home. It seems like this company make every piece to order as they have none of the parts at the moment. So we wait. Again.
Update 6: 26/5/25. Ten days after being promised the parts they haven't been dispatched yet. Is this acceptable?
Update 7: 6/6/25. Three weeks since they promised to send the replacement part. Not yet dispatched despite them being available to buy on PVY website.
Update 8: 16/6/25. Exactly one month after being promised shipment of the promised part, it's arrived in the UK. Husband will be paying an alternative bike repair company to install it on the bike as he was let down so badly by PVY's own repair technicians. Really hoping my next update is a positive one and an end to 9 months of waiting for a rideable bike.
Update 9. 25/6/25. Part has been delivered and fitted (at a cost to my husband) by a trusted company and now he finally has a rideable bike. If you are prepared to wait almost 10 months for your vehicle and have lots of spare time to chase up the company when things go wrong, by all means go ahead and purchase one! We are not alone in this experience. Maybe join a Facebook group of owners and take a look at the percentage of customers in a similar situation to ours before making your decision to purchase.
Here endeth the review! (Hopefully!!)

I purchased PVY LIBON on 25th March - today is 9th May !
Had to contact customer service many times to get any update, or information
I was offered instead different bike - if I would want different I would obviously buy different one !!!
For delay I was offer €50 refund, and guess what ?! Instead of receiving refund I was charged this money !!!
I did try contact company but no reply
No just reporting this to the police and ombudsman as my next step
Just want warn others about this company
*** it’s only way to reply on pvy comment: I will attached here screenshots from your extra charges, and I did contact customer service on many occasions without any reply till I posted my review. As a reply I received “we didn’t charge you” which obviously is not true !!!
*** update (25.05.25) had to cancel my order because was told will wait another month or more !!!
Instead of receive refund I was charged over £1000 !!! Obviously dispute with bank and report to financial ombudsman
Scammers stay away !!!!

Purchased 2 Z20 Plus bikes - his and hers! Every ride is such a pleasure - super comfortable with the big tyres compared to our previous bikes.. Last trip was 20 miles and only lost one bar (pedal assist). Lots of admiring comments - the bikes look great!
So happy with them, amazing value for money.
PS One had a dented front mudguard on delivery.. which they replaced without an issue. Excellent customer service!

I pre-ordered on 29 March and received my PVY Z20 Max on 6 May. Everything was as agreed.
Support kept me informed all the time how the bike was going. In the meantime, the bike was discounted in the shop and I was offered free accessories. Today I just received a notification that my extra charger has arrived at the parcel machine.
I also read the negative reviews and what stood out the most were the cases where people were not prepared to wait but wanted it immediately like from Amazon. If it wasn't right away, a negative review was written.
I did a lot of research before I decided to buy a bike from this company. In my opinion very progressive engineering and a very good commuter bike. The best product you can get for the price.
I really hope that this young innovative company will get the wind in its wings and keep getting better. If you're a technophile and can read and understand how the ordering process works, then I dare recommend this company and its bikes.

I checked out a lot of videos of similar products before buying the PVY EVO, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It's lightweight, well-built. The team was helpful with my queries, and the delivery was smooth. Overall, an excellent experience.
