Had a problem with a tv box. It was so refreshing to find a company who cares so much. It was dealt with very professionally and with empathy. Can certainly recommend them

How refreshing, to be able to get REAL customer service on the telephone. The problem was with my aerial, but the help was there on the phone all the time.

I bought a brand new Humax HDR box which failed after 17 months. It wiped all my recordings and wouldn’t activate the scheduled recordings. The company suggested I do a factory reset but couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t happen again so I requested a replacement or partial refund, but they said they were under no legal obligation to do anything. All they offered was a 15% discount if I bought something else. I have given them 1 star because this item was such poor value. I wish I had bought elsewhere.

Update: I did as CEO Richard suggested and emailed them directly. Twice. Asking for a review. But received no reply. The last message I had from them before posting this review ended with the words: “this will conclude the matter from our side.” So I can only assume they had no intention of engaging further, despite the CEO’s message.

I bought an item from Amazon which unfortunately proved faulty. This item was distributed by Chigwell Satellite. I spoke with a super guy (Daniel) who was courteous helpful and without any hassle whatsoever had a new item on its way the next day and having the defective item collected two days later. How very refreshing to deal with a company that has customer satisfaction in mind.

How refreshing to contact a company by phone to get to speak to someone that could help me (Richard) instantly. On return from holiday we found that our Starlink router wasn’t working, leaving us with no internet. There is no mobile signal where we live so I had to get my daughter to try to find me a replacement. She gave me the number for Chigwell Satellites and I was able to purchase a replacement which was delivered the following day by Royal Mail. I would have no hesitation whatsoever recommending this company.

I ordered a product through Amazon which due to me not reading the blurb properly (blame it on my age) was not suitable for my specific requirements. Nothing wrong with the product but because it wasn't a Wi-fi product it wasn't suitable for use in my period cottage. Originally there were hiccups with the return (mainly Amazon's processes) however, once I was able to speak to Daniel direct, all sorted and refund arrange within seconds. Thank you guys for dealing with the stress in such a professional manner. Great service.

A promptand helpful service. The Recorder supplied was good quality and is giving an excellent picture.

I bought Sky Stream puck, which is an excellent device. Chigwell (Richard) has given all the support I needed and held my hend during installation.

I would highly recommend this company. I ordered my Humax 5000 recording box back in May. Very prompt delivery, l have had a problem with not being able to record programs, l phoned Humax they didn’t help. In desperation l phoned Chigwell, the problem was sorted very quickly. Thank you very much Richard, it’s been a pleasure doing business with your company.

Excellent service, communication and product. Ordered renewed Humax HDR 1100S by phone on Thursday, delivered the following Monday to France. Product as new and performs as such.

very kindly richard at chigwell satellites tried to resolve my problem which is firstly that i paid for x2 BT set-top boxes : youview variant chigwell satellite sent me x2 BT digital set-top boxes i called up chigwell satellites on 31 july 2025 to explain the situation to mr richard he comprehended the predicament i have & sent me x2 hdmi 2 scart adaptors which very kindly arrived on 2 august 2025 via royalmail the review i am typing is that chigwell satellite hear a customer's concerns after the point of selling the item/s this is referred 2as from a retail perspective as after sale service very kindly the personal touch effectively

Had a problem with Humax I bought over a year ago. Same day helpful advice. Great company, great service.

Fantastic service! I bought a 'renewed' satellite box from them which developed a fault. In less than 24hours I had a replacement box. It's rare to get such good service these days.
