Purchased a Raspberry Pi 400 which is absolutely fantastic and delivered almost immediately
They even sent me a plug adapter from another supplier for no extra charge.... extremely impressive 5 Star Service

Exemplary Customer Experience

I ordered a SKY+ HD box from the company. It arrived promptly and securely packaged. It looked amazing and good as new. Unfortunately because of circumstances I need to go with SKY Q and therefore return the product.
Absolutely no hassle and very customer centric. Not many of these companies left. Well done.

We are so impressed with this company

We are so impressed with this company. Great products, amazing service. Charlie was very pleasant and really went out of his way to help. Nothing was too much trouble and he was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He's a company director in the making for sure and a real asset. The aftercare has been amazing too. 10/10, bravo Charlie!

Starlink installation

Having contacted Chigwell Satellite regarding the installation of Starlink I spoke to the very knowledgeable Charlie. Starling v3 does not come with a roof pole but Charlie went out of his way to source me a couple of options. Charlie’s service and communication was outstanding and I highly recommend him.

It's not until something goes wrong…

It's not until something goes wrong that a customer finds out how good or bad is a supplier. Purchased a 'renewed' set-top box/recorder from Chigwell, which stopped working properly after a day. I was given technical advice over the 'phone by Richard, and to be honest I was rather sceptical; but he knew what he was talking about. Still didn't fully fix the fault though. Chigwell were happy for me to return the item and refund my money. But I still needed a box. Charlie gave me his time to discuss my options and showed good product knowledge. As a result I've bought a different box from them, which was very promptly dispatched and I'm pleased to say works well. They might not sometimes be as cheap as Amazon for the same product, but what price good old fashioned customer service? I was prepared to pay a bit more and, based on this experience, would do so again, just for the peace of mind. Thank you Richard and Charlie - keep up the good work!

Excellent online company

I pre ordered the new Manhattan T4-r and it was dispatched on the day off release. It arrived safely with a note inside advising it shouldn’t be set up til the following Monday due to the new software. It was extremely easy to set up and it’s now in use
I was very impressed with their service. I would certainly buy from them again.
I’d been looking for this item online and their price was extremely favourable.

Above and beyond customer service

I bought a number of items from Chigwell Satellite relating to a Starlink installation I did. I experienced some teething issues, which Dan helped me resolve. Nothing was too much trouble for Dan; a consummate professional. So rarely do you come across true professionalism and laser-focused customer service. Thank you so so much, Dan and the Chigwell team :) - highly recommended

Really outstanding service - highly recommended

Really outstanding service! I recommend this company most highly. Richard, Alex and Daniel and all of the rest of the team were so helpful, polite, patient and extremely professional in helping me set everything up. I couldn’t have done it without them. Whenever I have called upon their support over the last twenty years, they have been so reliable. Many thanks to you all.

Disappointed

Updated 12 June 2024: On the 30 May 2024, I received the message "q-view.co.uk has flagged your review for containing harmful or illegal content.". I do not think it is appropriate to attempt to immediately take down a review by inappropriately suggesting it is harmful or illegal. Flagging it like that has the effect of immediately taking the review down until it was reviewed and re-instated by Trustpilot.

Disappointed to find the selling price of the
Manhattan T4-R 2TB Freeview Play 4K TV Recorder has increased from £229.99 to £288.99 overnight. I added to my basket last night and this morning checked with a neighbour if they could accept delivery, and then today, it's nearly £60 above RRP from Manhattan, and the explanation from Chigwell Satellite is that it's because they will have stock levels and are confident they can ship the product. There is a Wikipedia describing the practice of increasing prices when supply is limited.

I had a problem with a new Humax

I had a problem with a new Humax, called and spoke to the company. The guy said they would call back. Richard did call back and was very nice, told me if I had any more problems just give them a call and they seemed more than willing to help me out. Good service.

This company is run by a man called…

This company is run by a man called Richard. He offered me help with my tv recorder. He was so helpful that the call out charge should not be wasted. He does not normally come as far as Clacton, but he had a job in Colchester and said he would make the call out there. The man that turned fixed my aerial problem,he was very helpful. This company is the type of company that gives service to its customers, and goes at great length to save you money. Richard is a gentleman and I would recommend him with the upmost positivity. Thank you.

Exactly what we needed

Exactly what we needed, and quick delivery. Our old Sky+HD box was failing, and we were able to order an identical (refurbished) replacement which arrived within 48 hours and immediately fixed the problems.
