They charge you $1 and make you believe its the price, then hit you with $300 after 14 days for a subscription that you never subscribed to in the first place!
I mean even $300 for such service is unreasonable number!
I called my bank and reported as a fraudulent transaction and they’re getting investigated now, if you fell for the same thing call your bank immediately let them stop such scammers!

Update: my bank refunded me my money after investigation!

I opted in for buying 1 QR code for 0,5 euros. After 14 days they pulled 200 euros from my card they claim they have the right to continue the so called subscription.

It saved me so much time. Worth the price. Just it should also give you a warning when your subscribtion ends so that you can prolong it or switch qr codes ;) otherwise chaos will arise :)

This company is created from a bunch of idiiots that have nothing to do in life than to scam you as a customer. After i paid £0.50 to generate 1 QR code and after missing the asterix which says that after 2 weeks i will be charged 200 eur if i do not cancel the trial i was charged the full amount yesterday.

They did not sent any email 24h to advise about 14 day period coming to an end and that i will be charged the next day in full.

They did not even sent the payment confirmation after they charged me, hoping that the customer won't spot the charge.

Even now, after 24h they did not send an email with the invoice for 200 eur and about the charge itself.

Looking at their feedback which is 99% negative i now understand what type of company they are.

And the funny thing is that they don't refund, even if you forgot to cancel the subscription, or wanted to cancel 5 min after the charge happened.

Also they don't have any monthly payment to which i would have been happy to proceed, but not, they let you enjoy it for 14 days, they know you'll forgot to cancel as they don't send any email notifying you about trial period coming to an end and about the next full charge for 1 year ))).

This type of shittty companies should be closed, fined with huge amounts ad the shittty managers should be beaten until they teach the lesson.

You don't need to scam people and don't forget about your Karma which will come back to you from all the poor people you f***ed up.

Please all be aware before proceeding with their trial membership. There are a lot of sites that give you enough notice after the trial is ending so you always can choose to go ahead or cancel it.

I had an issue with my QR Code and the support team went above and beyond helping me get properly set up. They were very patient and thorough with answering all my questions.

Yes, I should have read Terms and Conditions and I should have scrolled down the screen to see why there is an asterisk at the order of 14 day service I chose. But honest company does not behave like them. No email mnotification about accepted payment, they just silently wait till two weeks pass. I used their service for 10 minutes to generate one code and still they are happy to charge me 200EUR.
I have sent them two emails and received two negative responses however at the end, after I blocked and then cancelled my credit card they sent my money back.

Zero notification of annual subscription by email or any chance to cancel it or be refunded. It doesn`t matter how great their QR code service if their business model is based on misleading as many people as possible. Even if technically what they do isn`t illegal, and relies on people like me who are in a hurry to produce a QR code and happy to pay $0.75, it`s dishonest. Sincerely hope Karma is coming to bite someone there in the butt.

This company's whole business model is based on misleading customers into making a 0.50€ one-time purchase, which is automatically renewed into a 200€ nonrefundable annual subscription. They are completely aware of the predatory nature of the way they obfuscate their purchasing terms and "acquire" customers, and strategically choose not to change anything. Avoid this company or exercise extreme caution when using them.

Edit: They have since attempted to have my review deleted, claiming to doubt my experience as real; which is rather ironic considering it reflects the same negative experience as 60% of the other reviewers on this site.

Bad business model to say the least - legal scam.
Poor transparency and communication - 1 email upon trial subscription and automatically charged 200 EUR after 14 days even if you dont use the platform at all. Simply not moral. Can be absolutely amazing business catering to people with different needs and budgets, but instead they chose to collect money quickly and dont care about people who it can really hurt. Would like to report it to a relevant authorities. Some businesses aren't right despite being legal - this one of them. Do not try it - find a better company who does similar stuff and is customer centric.

Even 1 star is too big for them. They just steal money. Scam and misleading service - these are the "best" characteristics.

When you design a QRcode in their app, one of the fields offers you to put some text. As a sample, they offer "Scan me!" I suggest them change this to "Scam me!"

Bought 1 QR code for $0.77, they kept my credit card information and charged me $307, stating I signed up for a year. They would not refund me and my credit card company couldn't dispute it either, stating that I signed up for their terms and conditions. It was my bad for not reading through, but I was rushing to download a QR code for work. I figured $0.77 wasn't bad. I didn't know they would be ripping me off a week later.

They stole 200€ from my account without notifying me that they will charge 200€. Please help anyone who knows about this how to get refund?

This is horrible, absolutely not user friendly service. They quietly charged me 200 euro for their annual plan WITHOUT notifying in advance that they will make this withdrawal. Horrible service! They refused to return my money because "this information is on their website". No single warning email. Didn't return money even though I said that there is a mistake and I will not use their service. For QR cod 200 euros??!! Goodbye

The service was friendly, fast and really costumer oriented. I can highly recommend Qrty and their costumer service as well as their QR codes which work perfectly.

Freakin' thieves!!! They Stole EUR200 from me, i've emailed maybe 20 times with them and they just laugh in your face. they can just refund it but they won't this is how their scam works.
