The company contacting you is somehow linked to the company that put the foam in don’t be fooled twice don’t panic call a local company to take it out rather pay them than give the scammer money I’ve done this twice now it’s pissing me off to be honest be rude to them they show their true colours very quickly
Spray Foam Installation
On the 5th October 2022, Quality Home solutions treated my loft space with open cell spray foam supplied by Logicfoam. The flooring in the loft is showing signs of damp and I have been told that the foam should be removed. I have a 25 year guarantee but I see that QHS have gone into liquidation. I have been in touch with Home Logic, who supplied the materials to do the job but they are not responsible for the installation. Advice needed - what to do next.
Bad experience
These people convinced my elderly mum to have foam insulation put into her attic in November 2021.
They sprayed directly onto the backing felt and jetted it under the eaves. We were unable to have the foam removed from inside the attic and instead have had to replace the roof in order to sell the house.
I can see they have now gone into liquidation.
Carried out a efficiency/ safety check…
Carried out a efficiency/ safety check on our solar panels, we were told that a certificate would be issued, we have contacted the company on numerous occasions, and each time told that the document was there and it would be sent to us, we are still waiting.
Poor service, need further information
We are in the same predicament as the previous person. Had the foam installed in June 2023. Then a few weeks ago, Thermotech wall and loft surveys LTD, have contacted us to have the foam removed.
Has anyone had dealings with this company. Has anyone further heard from Quality Home Solutions?
Guarantees -invalid after I find Quality Home Solutions is now an insolvent company?
I have just found out why I cannot contact this company. It is insolvent as of 3 May 24. it was 13 months ago (Nov 23) when they placed the Logitech foam in my bungalow's roof and I have been badgered by many companies saying it should not be there, that it will not allow future sale of the property etc and I should have it removed. I have tried contacting Quality Home Solutions several times to no avail. Have they gone out of business? The phone line requests the customer to try again later and yet the same message pertains each time one tries. Have they changed number? Have they had bad reviews? HOW do I go about answering companies that state I should pay them £1000s to have the foam removed? HOW can we get any recompense? Is the 25 year guarantee invalid?
appeared to have done good job
appeared to have done good job ? but are now linked to SCAMS told foam is installed wrong and must be removed but firms linked to this are scams also and want you to pay for then claim against the first company who did the job or their installers. HELP ! ?
so few hours to put right .
Had foam insulation done
Had foam insulation done, then had a call from them to check the roof......I agreed to this, cleaning and sealing the roof and replacing tiles. They did not say what a dirty job this was and put no protection for garden, plants windows and walls, so everything was covered in debris, what a mess......not only that but my neighbours walls, garden and windows were covered in this muck from MY ROOF. They were not very happy about this and told me so......I cleaned up when the roofers had gone to make it look nice again when they returned from their day out. They are still very upset and annoyed that no one will return to all of us to make good some tiles that fell off the roof and put some more on where there are spaces and to clear the gutters. Very disappointed in this procedure, and cannot get them to answer my phone calls or emails. Where have they gone and why do they do this to customers who trust them. Don't trust them i say............
I wouldn’t use this company
During a visit from Omega Home Solutions in May, the representative spilt a cup of coffee on the stairs (while he was carrying a heavy step ladder and a brief case)!!!! He assured us that because the coffee contained sugar it wouldn't leave a stain!!!! It did and I had to call in a professional carpet cleaner. I have emailed the representative 3 times and called his office asking to be reimbursed but he has not had the courtesy to respond.
Avoid spray foam insulation
The job was done October 2023, the price was specially reduced from over £5k to £2660, the assurance was improved insulation and reduced heating bills. I found out subsequently that this spray foam is a menace (makes a property unsellable, makes roof timbers rot)- and it's expensive to remove - and I can say with certainty that it didn't save any heating in Winter '23-'24. Caveat emptor! Now I'm shelling out to have it removed, but some people will be in a pickle. QHS seem to have disappeared in the interim.
Not worth a star!
Not worth a star!
Had roof sprayed in 2019 not the best experience at the time just found out yesterday 30/05/24 was not done correctly and now our house is virtually unsalable.
Can’t get hold of them so I fear they no longer exist.
It doesn’t even deserve to have a star…
It doesn’t even deserve to have a star as they are a scam company who now so I hear has been dissolved ripping people who owe me my money back as they fail to tell people that having spray foam in loft would make when selling properties unsellable, not happy 😡
Spray Foam Insulation - DO NOT USE
Do not use this company. Spray Foam Insulation, as installed by QHS in my Parents house, prevents the roof timbers from breathing, causing no route for the escape of excess moisture build-up, eventually leading to roof damage. With this in place the house becomes almost non-mortgageable by most lenders until such time as the foam is removed using a dry ice technique, which is very expensive. This company should not be cold-calling vulnerable and elderly people in the way they have in this case.
AND THIS IS GENEROUS
AND THIS IS GENEROUS
Don’t touch this company or ANY other spray foam company a barge pole.
I have had it done between my roof rafters and my bungalow has now become 95% un mortgageable. Disgraceful.
I have attempted to contact the company and they completely ignored me. I have had my Solicitor contact them and to date NOTHING. Sadly I paid by Debit Card and don’t have a leg to stand on. If I had paid by Credit Card I would likely get assistance to have it removed . So beware. It’s a complete scam and for me it has not saved one single penny on energy.
I should have realised with my current deep roll out loft insulation it is adequate. I was told it was damp. Rubbish. Complete nonsense. I guess I was swept away with it before looking into it further.
KEEP CLEAR PLEASE
Mis-sold spray foam insulation
My mother was miss sold spray foam insulation to her loft that she didn’t need. She was advised by QHS that it would save her money and she would qualify for a 50% saving as an oap / government grant scheme. The Surveyor turned up day 1 and said the loft was damp (which it wasn’t) and installers turned up 2 days later. I investigated and 1) there is no grant for this product, 2) there are potential mortgage ability issues with this product. QMS have willingly and politely removed the insulation. Still chasing and replacement of existing insulation quilt damaged by the removal men
great job team good bunch of lads thanks
AVOID
After becoming suspicious after an initial call to Mum in her 80s. They called back and gave a name of the surveyor who would be calling and a code for a discount on the cost. Initially told it a government scheme Mum would be entitled to! Checked them out and found other reviews that didn't cast them in a good light. Managed to call them back and the operative said "I've been expecting your call" in a salacious manner! I said "Excuse me? I wish to cancel an appointment made for tomorrow." His reply was "Red or black?" Again I said "Excuse me?" He replied "If you choose the correct colour I'll cancel the appointment, if you don't I won't". I couldn't believe what I was hearing and again said "Excuse me". At this point he had an epiphany and realised I was serious and asked why I wanted to cancel. I said I'd seen reviews I wasn't happy with and gave him some details at which point he said "I'll cancel the appointment" and put the phone down. AVOID AND WARN YOUR VULNERABLE RELATIVES.
