Saw that my fit to fly arrived at the lab 24hrs ago so thought I’d give customer service a ring as my flight is really soon and I’d need the test result within the next 12 hours. Spoke to Sarah and she was so helpful - put my test as a priority to the lab and within 15 minutes after the call I received my test result! Thank you:)

Chethan was especially helpful in guiding me through the complications of covid fit-to-fly testing within time limits.

I have just received a refund from Rainbow Lab for a £60 Fit-to-Fly PCR test which I needed for 5 Feb 2022. I did not get my result on time and it cost me dearly: £28.50 for parking at Heathrow while I sat it out until check-in closed; £79 to rebook my flight and £80 for a Rapid Fit-to-Fly PCR. I had phoned Rainbow twice, concerned about the delay over my results, and I was assured on both occasions that they had got my sample and I had activated it correctly. By the time check-in had closed, the Heathrow lab had closed: £119 for their Rapid PCR and £10 to print the results at the one and only place that does printing at Heathrow. I ended up going to the Randox Drive-thru at Stansted Airport - outstanding service! However, on the flip side, my sister's Rainbow Fit-to-Fly did arrive in good time, and she and I both used Rainbow for our Day 2 post arrival tests. Rainbow was much cheaper than any of the other options we looked at and everything from delivery to getting our results went smoothly. Mixed feelings!

Unbelievably bad service

I have booked my test on Friday the 11th at 9:49 am and according to the website, if I place an order before 12:00 it will be shipped the same day which didn’t happen! The kit was only shipped next Monday morning. So the Kit was not delivered on time and I had to spend more money booking another test.
I have contacted customer service (Varini) multiple times and they refuse to refund the money.
Terrible service, never again!

I order day 2 test before, but I didn't receive the product and said the Royal Mail has delivered to wrong place.
They required us to pay again the fee

I ordered a PCR 2 day from them
I did exactly what they asked for and they sent by email my results after the 3rd call,Which was 3 weeks later.
Every time i. Called them they said my results needed the doctor’s siganture.
I needed to results to be able to go back to work so i took another test and i was positive.
When i got my results i asjed for a refund and they claim they send it to me 6 days later instead of 3 weeks.
But every time i called they said they were not ready and now after another 3 weeks and lots of emails they are reviewing the case.
How many of you are in the same case?

Worst customer service ever. They failed to get me the results of my PCR test. I am still waiting for my results and a refund after many phone calls and emails. The call centre who answer the calls have to put you on hold for at least 10 minutes, seem to be agreeing with your demand for a refund, then nothing happens. My PCR test results were due back on 10th Jan. It's now 20th Feb.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I bought and paid for 3 individual antigen day 2 tests that is needed for arriving back into the UK from abroad and not one of them arrived. Ok, £5 each isn't a lot but thats not the point.

Too much time has passed now but what if one of us were positive for covid-19 and we passed this infection on without knowing??

This could result in someone dying.

Rainbow Labs are on the gov website which makes it even worse.

Terrible. In short the tests never arrived. The Royal Mail tracking number supplied doesnt provide any information. The tests are obviously lost and Rainbow labs keep referring me to Royal Mail but Royal Mail say that only rainbow labs can claim for the lost parcel (which is of course right). Absolute cowboys and a nightmare to deal with

I did the antigen one, the quick test. All was on time, when I arrived home the kit was already delivered, I had clear instructions on what to do and the results came the next day (Although it took me a while to realise cause they were in my spam folder).

I bought 2 tests when they were necessary and sent them back. As with many others only one result came back. They have tried to tell me that I activated mine with an incorrect barcode number but I took a screenshot at the time of activating so I know the number was correct. They are obviously scammers and should never have been on the government list.

Disgraceful service. Paid for a 2 day release PCR - Returned to me on Day 13. Requested a refund on numerous occasions and refused. Absolutely disgusting. Complete scam.

I have taken 2 Day-2 PCR tests with Rainbow Labs based on the UK government guidelines. For the first test, things went more or less according to schedule and I received the results in 48 hours (not super fast, but within the timeframe they promise). However, the first test result was unclear (which can happen, I don't blame the lab), so I had to take a second one or quarantine for the full 10 days. I made the mistake to take the test, thinking that some of the bad reviews online might be isolated incidents . A month later (test sent on 14th of January), I have not received any results. I have contacted them several times and the only thing they told me is that the sample is being processed by one of their Partner Labs and they will let me know. They never do, I contact them again and it's the same story. Last time I asked for a refund, because it is meaningless getting any result after 1 month. They avoid replying in the refund request and repeat the same story "your sample is being processed, we will let you know". PLEASE AVOID THEM! It was a waste of time (I had to quarantine for 10 full days) and money.

I used rainbow labs for my day 2 lateral flow test twice in last month. Both times they arrived in 2 working days (tests ordered before 12pm), and I got certificates in about an hour after submitting the pic. 1st time I was filling in the form, i had a question, so I gave them a call and was pleasantly surprised when they answered within few minutes (not the experience with other companies I used before where it was impossible to get anyone on the phone). I am very happy with rainbow labs both times I used them, and I will definitely use them again in the future.
