Shameful Mr Lauren! Shameful!
This is meant to be a huge designer brand but the customer service is appalling and the returns procedure is an absolute joke!!! They do not deserve a star at all but it wouldn't let me leave a review unless i gave 1 star. I received my order and when ut cane i was drowning in it. I thought ok no problem i can return it. Return it??? How UPS but you have to print your own label off at home! Ummm we're in the middle of a pandemic get real! How do you return something if you do not have access to a printer ??!
I am still waiting to find somewhere to print this damn label so that i can return the damn thing to RL. Only God knows when i will get my refund. I doubt the refund process will be easy either.
Absolutely shambolic this company is. Shame on you Mr Lauren! Shame on you! You do not care about your customers and people should stop buying your goods and buy other designer brands who provide a better customer experience!!!!

H&M cotton t shirts are just as good if not better than the RL polo's and T shirts, i see no difference in terms of quality
Really Poor customer service
Really Poor customer service. Whenever you return something you have to chase and chase as I'm assuming they hope you forget. Takes weeks to get a refund and all you get is load of tosh about their internal logistics.

DO NOT USE , AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! very easy to order a product but the delivery was shocking, And the returns policy is a joke. If you haven’t got a printer or access to one your in big trouble. Costumer service is a joke and they just lie through there back teeth. Will never ever use again.
Online ordering service is not what it used to be
I've ordered from RL for years but the past 12-18 months (before pandemic) has been a huge decline in service and online ordering experience.
The way this now works, is if an item is 'in stock' on the website, it's pot luck as to whether you will receive the item as they source the stock from their stores, which can take weeks.
When requesting to cancel, this is also not actioned by the customer service department, its a case of waiting for at least 14-21 days after first contacting them for the order to timeout and be cancelled.
For a company this size, the experience of ordering is very poor - whereas a few years ago, it was always very easy, quick and reliable.
My tip would be: if it's an item that can only be bought online then order but don't expect it to arrive. If you can purchase in one of their stores, or from another online retailer this would be be a better outcome.
Terrible customer service not premium
Terrible service. After 10 days no sign of my order which should have been here 3-5 days. Ralph Lauren says it’s lost in transport but have refused to send a replacement. They have told me that I must wait 5 additional business days for their courier to confirm that they can’t find it and then send me a refund much will take another 7 working days to clear. No replacement as I requested. So I requested that they refund me now, as per my legal right and arrange for the missing parcel to be returned if they ever find it. Ralph Lauren refused. Not luxury, not premium not even basic customer service. Very poor and no regard for a customer who has been loyal to the brand for 30 years.
Beware the Quality. All is not what it seems!
There is a certain expectation when buying directly from RalphLauren.co.uk. You expect quality and a premium service. I bought a packable down filled jacket. When it arrived it didn't feel quite right. On checking the label the fill was duck down AND polyester. The website description - which I have in front of me as I type this - says 'fill: duck down, duck feather'. This is extremely disappointing. I contacted Ralph Lauren who asked me to send a photo of the label. Then nothing. After 6 emails of doing and froing I received a return label with the return reason as 'customer didn't like'. No further response or explanation or offer to make things right. Poor.
So, I add may pennies worth to the similar reviews here about poor service. But for me it was the cheat of buying something that you think is down and have it arrive polyester. From Ralph Lauren? Come on.

I recently ordered an custom fit indigo Madras shirt from the website.
All images show this as a long sleeved shirt but, fair play, clicking to reveal the details (not description) tab does list short sleeves which I didn’t bother checking before purchasing. It is also the same price as other long sleeved shirts in a similar photographed style.
Return labels are not provided with your order for environmental benefit (?) so you have to print these yourself (I don’t have printing facilities at home) and you then either need to return via a UPS collection point locally or arrange and pay for a UPS collection.
Expected better from a brand the size and value of Ralph Lauren. Many other companies do this much better in my opinion - including providing customers with more accurate descriptions and images of their online products in the first instance. Very unhelpful and intransigent customer service, making the company’s misleading online promotion my complete responsibility, cost and inconvenience to resolve.

I ordered a matching tracksuit on the website thinking, ordering direct would be a better service.. Definitely not! It turned up two different greys. I then sent back for exchange for a different size as well which then turned up two different greys again. I sent back for refund which in their policy states 2 weeks (this DOES NOT state, 14 working days!).. 2 weeks have passed.. no refund. I called, they said they are unsure why I haven't received my refund. Don't order from here!
Missing item and poor rectification
Ordered a £260 bag online as a present but it arrived without the advertised dust bag. I emailed the customer service team who, whilst being speedy to answer and offering £20 as compensation, said they couldn't do what I wanted, getting a dust bag sent on.
This should not be impossible and a truly customer centric retailer, as they claim to be, would have resolved the issue .
So, whilst my wife loves her bag, we won't be back to RL and I suggest others avoid them. All the gloss has gone off the gift.

I ordered some items from Ralph Lauren co.U.K. site but had to return one of them which was wrong size. They received the returned item by UPS in 2 days but it is more than 2 weeks since I am still waiting for a refund and all the explanations I got from their customer service was that they had to forward the item to their Italian warehouse!!!! although I did not buy anything from the Italian site but from the U.K. site.
Shame ... would never buy anything again and the items I bought will be given to charity as after the bad treatment from their customer service I don’t feel like I want to wear this brand anymore
Almost 2 months no refund! This is a joke!
I have returned back item on 02/01/2021, I have been chasing RL for refund all this time-almost 2 months. I have called their customer service 3 times, every time they would say that refund is issued, but I never get my money back. Last time I called they said that there was an issue made by their colleague regarding refund so they need to issue it again. Lady from customer service confirmed that they have received item, but they have to decide about my “situation” in a 2 days - I don’t get what is there to decide?! Today 19/02, customer service sent me an email that their team is still deciding about my case..It’s ridiculous! There is nothing to decide, you received parcel, I want my money back!
Also, They never answer emails, never send any updates and I would never recommend or buy again. For prices as high as their, this is a shame of service!

Anyways returned my item 01/02 via UPS which was successfully delivered to warehouse 02/02 (would never have known if not tracked with UPS) have never received an confirmation. Started a live chat to be told the returns process won’t start until the item is in Italy ? I didn’t order from Italy I ordered from .co.uk?
From reading below reviews it doesn’t look like I will receive my refund any time soon !! I am now £114.50 out of pocket with nothing but frustration to show.

One of the worst companies I ever…
One of the worst companies I ever bought from - you have to chase every step of the way (where is my order / where is my refund etc). I thought the fact they’re classified as one of those more expensive brands would mean their customer service is superb. Couldn’t be more wrong ! You won’t get through to them (30 minutes wait on the phone and no one answered and they take a few days to respond to your messages). I had to return the dress and despite of it arriving in their office within 2 days I had to chase my refund. When they finally processed it, they did not refund it to my original source of money on PayPal (credit card) which would be instant but refunded to my PayPal balance and today it has been a week and the refund is still pending. It’s unacceptable, the company should refund within 14 days from the moment they receive your return yet these people seem to play with their own rules. I would love to report them for breaking e-commerce rules. Completely put off ordering ever again - will avoid and tell my friends too!!! Disgusted.
No replacement for damaged item
Bought a cocktail shaker as a gift for my partner. Ralph Lauren send out a damaged/marked item, and can't offer a replacement. Only a £20 partial refund. Shocking that Ralph Lauren can't replace an item that was delivered in sub-par condition. Awful service from a supposedly premium brand.

Order was returned to them on 30th December 2020. I have phoned up and been told it was processed on 4th Jan 2021 and refund will take 10 working days. 22nd Jan 2021 and still no refund. Cannot now get through on phone without holding for 40 minutes! When trying to communicate by email they have wrong returns number and I get nowhere. Their service is terrible and I shan't order from them again!
