Keeps your money until the date of pre release then cancels your order. Waste of time and would not recommend. Rude and no communication

We're a bit confused with your review, as we have not taken any upfront payments for pre-orders since March 2021. If your review is in relation to the Pokémon TCG Battle Styles, we publicly apologised on 13 March as soon as we were notified that our allocated amount changed on us last minute (full post here: https://www.facebook.com/rarecandycollectables/posts/1175422799527652). We also issued refunds to customers immediately and did not delay its process, so our customers could order it elsewhere before Battle Styles became harder to get. Moreover, we changed our approach to pre-ordering by not taking payments or deposits, and only charge customers when we have stock.

If your review is in response to the new Pokémon TCG set Celebrations, we have not taken any payments for orders we cannot fulfil on release. However, we realised our no upfront payment or deposit pre-ordering was not appropriate for the products we were offering. Therefore, we sincerely apologise for the handling of this set release.

We understand that we had high expectations for Celebrations and gave that impression to our customers through pre-ordering on our website. We note that a lot of customers trusted us with their pre-orders, and in most cases, we were not able to fulfil every order we received. BAD EXPERIENCE

BAD EXPERIENCE. Gold membership was a waste more than half the products I ordered were cancelled. Horrible service when emailed. Wish I got a refund on the gold membership. Order through a more reliable source. This seller dosen’t have his customers in mind.

Will not shop here again

Had a pre order placed and it got canceled with no notification and was never stated. Will never try to shop here again. They also try to block your review if you say anything negative.

We would also recommend that you check your junk/spam folder as our cancellation email had a message attached explaining that we were not allocated enough stock to offer it to you at the time of invoicing.

Unable to fulfil preordered product

As a previously happy customer, this experience has been extremely poor, and has irreversibly damaged the trust I once had in the business.

Like many others, I was looking forward to the Pokémon 25th Anniversary release, and placed preorders to be confident in the knowledge that the products I was looking for were secured. Apparently, this was not the case. My order was changed last minute to remove key products from the preorder I had placed, leaving less desirable items in the order.

Regardless of the reasoning, having a preorder placed several months beforehand be cancelled or adjusted when the actual availabilities are known is extremely misleading and frustrating, as it defeats the purpose of the preorder in the first place.

Additionally, the store has shown disrespect to customers by not keeping track of unfulfilled preorders for potential future allocation, instead removing them entirely from the record, resulting in customers who have been let down once already have to compete with others who might have already received some product, or did not make a preorder in the first place. It’s beyond understanding how that was decided as the best way to treat customers, especially those who have just been disappointed.

Update: After seeing this review, the business has found it appropriate to, instead of accepting the feedback of the experience that I had and taking it on board to address the concerns raised, they have gone so far as to close my account with them entirely. This is an extraordinary level of petty unprofessionalism that is actually quite shocking to see, and serves as a massive red flag for any potential customers who may be considering dealing with them in future.

Not happy

Not happy, usually my go to. Ordered some preorders back in July.
They cancelled my order with no email as to why, I had to chase it up.
They didn't have allocated products and advertised to sell them.
They've lost my service and won't be shopping here again
