Preordered a One Piece TCG OP-08 Case in January. The release date passed and I received no updates from Rare Candy. Had to reach out through email myself and was told that they 'didn't have stock' although I preordered more than half a year in advance. Was also told they could not refund me and I would have to figure it out myself. Would rate 0 stars if possible.

Do not use this store, especially for pre-orders!
I pre-ordered cases or cards from them almost 6 months in advance. When the release date passed I had to contact them looking for my order. They claimed they had no stock and that they would refund me. They didn't even apologise.
The sent a full refund through PayPal which then failed to process 2 days later with no reasons given!
Luckily I used PayPal because they never replied or responded to emails, so I opened a case against them immediately. In the end I got a full refund from PayPal because they were in the wrong!
If you ever buy from places such as this, use something secure like PayPal and keep all receipts and emails and make sure you find a way to protect yourself from losing out like many others on this review page have!

Pre order never arrived. 2 months post expected arrival I asked for a refund as it didn't seem like I was ever going to recieve my order. Was charged a 10% cancellation fee, for an order that they couldn't even fulfil. Highly discourage ordering from this website.
My experience with them
Placed a preorder since last year, item was suppose to be shipped in June but never did. I called up and was told it will be sent the following week, it never arrived. They then removed their phone numbers online. They still have yet to refund me everything.

Company took pre orders for one piece. Did not contact me to let me know they had no stock. Refused to give me a refund and told me I had to contact my back to request one.

Failed to refund after agreeing to.
Pre-ordered 2 months early, failed to meet date, lead on for 2 weeks saying it was coming, told them I didn't want to wait anymore and asked for a refund, they admitted they aren't getting stock and agreed to refund within 5 days, had to chase up 10 days later, didn't respond to email but did put refund through. After 3 days PayPal then cancelled the refund as it was taking to long to process. They've stopped replying to emails, have had to open a dispute through PayPal (glad I paid through that rather then debit card like normal), still haven't responded to PayPal or emails another 6 days after PayPal dispute. Over 4 weeks since Intel fail to deliver.
2 pre orders cancelled months apart
I have now had 2 pre orders cancelled and refunded once I've enquired about delivery time. Really poor service. Both times I have had to purchase elsewhere at an inflated price. Won't be using these guys again.

If they are short. They will try and source it online for cheaper for you. Which you can also do yourself. However if it is more expensive They will refund you. And not supply the product and saying we got short delivered. So you gave them a interest free loan for a couple of months basically.

If I do not get a full refund regardless I am having this to be reported to bb and submitting cc a claim for difference with proofs. Do not deal with this bs company.
Good customer service
I had read the reviews and started to freak out that my order wouldn't arrive on time. So I emailed them and they assured me it would. They also replied very professional and friendly even though I probably annoyed them with my dozen of emails. My order came in time. I want to thank Genie for all the help

I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated I am with Rare Candy. After eagerly waiting for nearly a month after the released date for my pre-order, I received the shocking news that it has been refunded WHEN i have done a chase up with them. Are you kidding me? This entire experience has been a colossal letdown.
The lack of communication and the apparent mishandling of my pre-order is unacceptable. Waiting patiently, only to be informed of a refund, has left me utterly frustrated. Rare Candy, you've managed to turn what should have been an exciting purchase into a complete waste of time.
I had high hopes for a smooth transaction, but this ordeal has shattered any confidence I had in your
store and management. I am not one to leave negative reviews lightly, but this experience compels me to share my disappointment with others.
Consider this my warning to potential customers – the lack of reliability and customer service at Rare Candy is disheartening. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I'll be sure to share it extensively in my forthcoming Google review.
Disappointing experience
I preordered POKÉMON TCG Scarlet & Violet 151 ETB and Ultra Premium Collection back in August to be releasing in October/November.
I can understand that things happen out of your control and that you are not able to fulfil these orders which are high in demand.
What was incredibly disappointing was the way they handled it (if at all). It was up to me to chase up on where my order was. I gave them 2 weeks after release date to chase up and they responded that it would be shipped by the end of that week. 2 more weeks passed and I chased up again and they said that things are out of their control and the items will likely ship in the next month.
I honestly would have felt better by this whole experience if you had just taken responsibility and followed up. Even after I had asked them to cancel and refund my order, there wasn't any goodwill to try and keep me as a customer.
Based on reviews seen here, it seems that they have a recurring issue that if your product is wildly popular, there's a likely chance that it won't be fulfilled. So either fix your system to not allow that many orders to be made or do better.

Preordered Marvel Anime Series 2 boxes. Release date came and went with no peep. 10 Days after release the website still had them as presell. I sent them an email and was told they have no ETA on getting more supply and they promptly updated website to state sold out. I feel completely misled and would have bought elsewhere if I had know they would take preorders beyond there actual supply.

Do not order from this company. I spent a lot of money on an order and most of it was not received. They substituted most of it with total crap! Basically just threw it into a box. I was outraged, nor did they reply to my email about my concerns. Also, I was not notified about any substitutions when I received the email saying order was shipped (which took months btw). There are many other reputable businesses out there. Avoid rare candy at all costs.

Found this mob on a google search looking for Japanese Pokemon 151 release.
Purchased $1380.00 worth of product on the 12.06.23 on order# 2705 and the product release date was stated as 14th June (in Japan) with an ETA to Australia of 30.06.23.
That date came and went, I contacted them through their Facebook page on 03.07.23
I was told: "Due to an unprecedented delay with receiving the Japanese Pokemon TCG 151 Booster Box from Japan, our estimated shipping date of 30 June no longer applies. We now estimate that we will have your order fulfilled by 14 July"
They also tell me that if I cancel the order, they will take a 10% fee from me. So basically these p.o.s. fail to deliver on the due date on their website which I agreed to by purchasing, then when they can't deliver, they hold my money ransom for 10% which in this case is $138 !!! disgrace!!!
They also stated: "If we are unable to complete your pre-order by 28 July, we will refund your order in full"
So I had no choice to wait until Monday the 30th then demand my money back because they still couldn't fulfil my order by then!!!
Meanwhile I've seen hundreds of boxes being brought in by at least 10 different suppliers though-out all this time.
Absolute incompetence. I would AVOID this business entirely.

I Pre-ordered 2x OP-02 Booster Boxes in early January.
I was notified on the 13th of March that Rare Candy did not have enough allocation to provide me with my order. they suggested 3 options:
1. Wait until the end of the month when they receive their 2nd wave allocation (they said on the 31 March they hadn't received it)
2. Get a pre-order of 2x boxes for 03 release.
3. a refund
I purchased these boxes when they were still $150, these boxes are now going for $220 plus. i feel this store will use your deposit for their allocation, and then refund your order so they can sell in store for more profit.
I had tried emailing and contacting Rare Candy twice in this time with no reply until today.
