We are a family, not a manufactured brand. We are Eoin and Lorraine; a nephew and an aunt who have spent years telling everybody we know about the amazing raw pet food we feed our dogs at home, until one day we realised that we had a best kept family secret recipe right under our noses that was too good not to share. So we decided to roll up our sleeves and, with the support of Eoin’s dad John (and brother to Lorraine), we figured out how we could deliver our family’s Rawgeous pet food meals directly to your door, (because we are forward like that). I just love this raw food
I just love this raw food. One of my girls (Doberman) has allergies and can only eat certain proteins. My other dog is a malinois and is a working dog. This food sustains her coat, skin, nails, teeth & also her physicality. She’s so healthy on it and doesn’t get any injuries! Rawgeous use only good ingredients and whole parts of the animal. They’re ethical and also environmentally sustainable with recycled packaging too! It arrives super quick and looks like a person could eat it!! I really like supporting small companies where I can track where the food is packaged and where they get it from!

Lacking traceability and transparency
Something has changed with this company and they are not being transparent about it.
It was great when I started Sept 2023 but honestly it just kept getting worse and I have little trust in their claim to have ‘transparency and traceability’.
Delivery has been disrupted last few months with stock changing or unavailable. The food smells now and there seems to be more veggies in them too. Some batches don’t seem to have bone either so I’m concerned that my dog isn’t actually getting a balanced meal.
My dog will eat the sausages but not the mince but I’m told it’s the same formulation. Clearly it isn’t if the dog is rejecting one upon smelling it in her bowl. I could also smell the difference myself.
When I pushed harder to understand the constant issues, I was told that they have new suppliers. So there likely had been a change in the formulation and quality of the raw meat they are using.
Anyway, I’m exhausted having to chase monthly to negotiate what flavours I can be given. Sometimes add- ons like treats would be missing too and I have to chase again.
A lot of issues every month trying to get food that’s part of a subscription. I have had to correct missing or incorrect orders monthly since the start of this year.
I now have a freezer full of their dog food I can’t feed my dog. My dog refuses to eat their food, especially the last two months. She walks away when I put their food down and will go on for days not eating!
I’ve switched to another company last week and she loves their food. She runs to the kitchen soon as she hears and smells me open the packaging.
And I’m not struggling anymore. I get the order the next day and it’s as agreed!
Given the difficulty I had and how expensive this dog food is, I’m writing this review to help those of you on the fence about picking a raw dog food company.
I’m not the only one with this experience lately so it goes to show, this company has changed and it’s not reliable or trustworthy of your dog’s wellbeing.

What an absolute joke this company is
What an absolute joke this company is. After two weeks of not sending any dog food to us they managed to send us two orders (we canceled on of them). Because it's raw food they wouldn't take it back. They offered 10% discount on next order. Well there is not going to be another order placed from us. Please avoid.

Avoid at all costs.
I have been using Rawgeous for quite a while now and the service and products provided have gone from ok, to bad, to worse to completely unacceptable.
They will take your money and not provide food. When you contact them they will lie to you about their reasoning. I have spoken to multiple people in the company, each one telling a story that contradicts the last. They will all give you different dates and offer 'solutions' that don't actually resolve anything or that go against what someone else has offered.
There is clearly no effective management or communication within their team.
Absolute cowboys who are just trying to get a hold of your money.
The food you do get will be mislabelled, have expired dates on that are scribbled over and the packaging is awful.
They have also breached GDPR and sent me communication about other customers and their orders by mistake.
Completely despicable company.
Do yourselves and more importantly your dogs a favour and avoid Rawgeous at all costs.

We have had an awful experience with Rawgeous
We have had an awful experience with Rawgeous. The customer service team contacted us less than 24 hours before our shipment was due to be delivered to tell us that 6kg out of our 8kg box was out of stock. I would have appreciated more notice. The concept is "build your own box" yet I was being asked to order 6-7kg of the same variety of food. This is the second time this has happened to me. I asked what could be done as a good will gesture and I was offered a free bag of treats in my order, despite the issue being entirely on their side.
Customer service was incredibly unhelpful and unapologetic about the situation, only saying "my hands are tied".
We have been a long time customer of Rawgeous but have now moved to Natures Menu because of these issues. Because of the short notice about the issues with our order and being messaged on Sunday afternoon (when the shipment was due on Monday) and being forced into making a decision, our dog has been left without food and we have had to find alternatives at short notice.
I won't be ordering from Rawgeous again. It's been incredibly frustrating to deal with their customer service who finally offered a discount of £2.50 for the inconvenience - it's insulting as when I went to their website to cancel my subscription, I was offered 10% off my next 2 orders, just for clicking a button - which didn't even apply due to a website error.

Happy Pup and Dog Mum
I spent a lot of time researching why to feed my Lab Raw food rather than kibble, not having knowledge can be daunting but the more I understood the more I wanted the best for my Willow. I have already noticed a physically different in her coat- it's red, shinny and soft. She seems a lot happier and for a puppy her behaviours seem to have decreased. The vet says she's in really good health and I can only thank this down to the experts. I feel like a proud dog mum that's doing what's best and in my Pups best nature.

Mould on food when opened
Rawgeous say their food is fresh then frozen when delivered. Well, mine had sheets of ice on top of the food, but the edges were soft and obviously had defrosted.
Upon delivery, I put the food in the freezer, had nowhere else to keep 24 boxes of raw food. When I pull out a box, defrost it for my dog to eat, he just turns his nose up and refuses to eat it. Mould on the food was present!!! I would upload a picture but no facility to do so.
I had some left over boxes from a previous owners order, he ate that no problem at all.
So, nearly £60 wasted! What a dissapointment.
I E mailed the company to explain the above but as yet no response. Three times NO ANSWER
Try cancelling your membership on line, impossible as it asks you to defer the next delivery for 1 to 3 months.

Love Rawgeous but not DHL
My 3 love Rawgeous and look forward to sausage Wednesday and sausage Sundays. The only thing that stops me giving 5 star review is DHL and is no way a reflection on Rawgeous. They say they attempt delivery but I’m always ready and waiting for them coming. The next day it’s just dumped on the doorstep for anyone to take. The box says do not return to depot but they always do, this happened the last twice when I order extra sausages. I know there is insulation but the top and bottom layer is either nearly defrosted or soft. Never have this problem with DPD. Would highly recommend the meals and sausages.

I highly recommend Rawgeous!
We have been with Rawgeous since August 2023 and I have to say its the best decision I have made for my 2 babies. They are very very picky and fussy with their food but they are obsessed with Rawgeous and wouldn't eat anything else now! I love how the food is packed and its very easy to store in the same box rather then having to transfer it to another container once defrosted. I highly recommend Rawgeous for any pet parent who is looking to switch to a raw food diet! For us its the best in the market <3

Always great product
Always great product, my dogs love it. Subscription works well and my dog food always arrives on date.
I’d love different proteins to be added and a meal without added vegetables as my french bulldogs can’t tolerate too much veg. Also a boneless meal would give me more choice.
I’d recommend trying this product but you would need to alternate it with different proteins from different suppliers to meet all the dogs’ nutritional needs

Disappointed
My dog loved this food, however, the service did not match. I was expecting a delivery, when I did not receive a notification of delivery, I emailed the Company, twice, to enquire as I was about to go on holiday and the food was for my dog whilst I was away. I did not receive a response to my emails so I rang the company to be told there had been an error with my payment. Unfortunately the company did not contact me to inform me of this. I'm now on a frantic hunt for good quality dog food !! This is such a shame because I like to support family run businesses.
