The website is easy to use and rci always cobfirm when a paynent has been made into an account. I have always recieved withdrawals promptly to my nominated account
However I have found it frustating that I cannot move money from an easy access account to a fixed rate account, during the funding period, online without having to withdraw the funds, wait for clearance and then retransfer the funds.

I needed to open a new account and transfer money into it from the one which was due to expire. This was done without any hassle. No problem at all.

I have had substantial deposits with them in the past One time, I needed to take some funds from my account (high five or low six figures, I don’t remember) but I put it back within days. This triggered one of their intrusive source of funds questionnaires which I had filled out numerous times this year already with the same evidence. They locked my out of my account and eventually closed my account although I had been a customer for over eight years.
If you have over a few hundred or thousand pounds, they consider you to be a high risk customer and they will send you the same questions over an over and eventually closed your account.
Good rates and all but as a bank they would be better off eliminating risk by ceasing to exist.

We have had accounts at RCI for many years now.
The App is so easy to use and we have four different accounts . Easy to transfer between accounts. I have spoken to David today asI could not remember how to stop a recurring payment. I think it is only the second time I have rang. The first time was to set the recurring payment up four years ago.Excellent service

I have several fixed rate bonds with RCI and have found them competitive and efficient. They keep you informed of progress and acknowledge receipt of funds promptly. The increase in protection from £85000 to £120000 has encouraged me to add to my holdings with them.i like being able to receive interest into my current account monthly.

Had a problem logging in on the app called customer service and the gentleman that helped myself was fantastic he couldn't of been more helpful my vision is not the best he advised to go online and complete what I was doing and he was so correct it was so much easier for myself,so from being stressed he made the transaction much quicker and straight forward for myself. Opened a savings account with RCI recently. Seemed to be a lot of hurdles to get over, but OK in the end. Instructions for paying in (sent by email and in the post) seemed contradictory and did not work. Spoke with a member of staff who suggested ways tosetting up with my linked account. Subsequently told by another member of staff that this was wrong. This lady made futher suggestions (apparently how the steps used to be) and this worked. Could have done without the hassle.

Called RCI regarding a tax certificate for a closed account.
Spoke to David, who very helpfully gave me figures over the phone and advised he would also send a written copy.
David also gave further advice regarding the bank's returns to HMRC.
