Reboot is unique in bringing together expert workouts with in-depth mind planning and nutritional knowledge. Reboot also offers a three month, bespoke after care plan that will ensure your new attitude and routine are maintained long term.Reboot is the start to your new life.  Throughout the course of the week you will be taught about exercise, diet and nutrition in order that, when you leave, you will have all the tools to continue to make positive, healthy changes to your life.  We are not a "drop a dress size in a week"; boot camp - never have been, never will be! Reboot is a holistic boot camp, concentrating on how the components of fitness, nutrition and mind coaching all work together to achieve life long changes - this is not a quick fix - Reboot is life changing!    One of the objectives of the Reboot boot camp week is to ensure that you come away from the week with a goal that you want to achieve, whether that is to run a marathon or perhaps devise a training programme that can easily be implemented upon your return to "normal" life.   The Reboot team will work with you throughout the week to educate you about the body and its main training systems.  This will ensure that you can replicate the sessions at home, whether you have access to wide open space, a gym or a small limited space. The nutritionist for Reboot Fitness and Weight Loss Boot Camps will work with you throughout the week to give you advice and alternative healthy food options. She can help you devise an eating plan that can be easily replicated upon your return.  The Reboot chef is available on site at the boot camp accommodation throughout the week and clients go home with the recipes of all the meals you have eaten. Naomi Devlin BA (Hons), is responsible for nutrition at Reboot Dorset Fitness and Weight Loss Boot Camps and has designed the menu to balance your blood sugar levels, be nutritious and tasty while enabling it to be easily replicated at home. Our on-site chef prepares all the food at Reboot to suit your individual needs and requirements. You will also receive nutrition workshops during your week at Reboot Weight Loss Boot Camp with our nutritionist and you will be provided with all the recipes to take home. The Reboot Fitness and Weight Loss Boot Camp team is second to none - you will work with Reboot’s owner and renowned industry professional Mark Hooks BSc (Hons) on a fitness regime that will ensure you never get bored with your training, while the rest of the team are fully qualified and insured fitness professionals. The boot camp accommodation is simply stunning. Situated in the peaceful surroundings of West Dorset guests will reside at one of the UK’s most beautiful rectories. Post-fitness activities include massage and holistic therapies by our therapy team. We often get asked about weight loss at Reboot Fitness and Weight Loss Boot Camps. Obviously weight loss depends on many factors, including your current weight, how hard you work at the boot camp, what you currently eat, etc.  We do not weigh you at Reboot as we believe it is far healthier to focus on fitness and healthy living - weight loss comes as a by-product.  Having said that, we have had some clients lose in excess of a stone during the Reboot week but weight loss is not something we focus on.   Reboot Fitness and Weight Loss Boot Camps does not advertise itself as a "drop a dress size in a week" boot camp. Any boot camp can make you drop a dress size in a week by not feeding you properly but this is neither healthy or sustainable.  We have some clients who come to Reboot because they are obese and sedentary and other clients who come to train for specific events such as triathlons, marathons, Iron Man, etc. Every client will be pushed to their own personal limit in a healthy, educational and structured manner.

I paid £795 just a couple of weeks before a camp. The company used this to pay their debts and then cancelled the camp on the Friday before the Monday. I had already organised my annual leave and childcare and it was too late to change so I missed out on a break and had to pay for said childcare. Company still has not refunded me.

Great boot camp shame about the owner

The boot camp itself was really great, a wide variety of activities including ones outside to make the most of the lovely scenery. The whole group ended the week feeling great and really motivated which is the ideal outcome and a testament to the programme/instructors.

The meals were good and really filling with regular snacks as well.

The messages given are realistic ones that can be taken with you rather than being very extreme or unrealistic, e.g. exercise in a way that fits your life rather than being told to exercise 7 times a week. They also focus on giving you the tools to take forward exercising etc yourself rather than expecting you to come back which is really good.

If I was rating the book camp alone I would have given it a 5.

The reason for the lower score is the post boot camp interaction I had with the owner. In the feedback form I had said my experience was very positive but included a couple of minor points of potential enhancement (relating to the hotel). I also requested the receipes for a couple of meals we had which I had really enjoyed but didn't seem to be in the list provided.
Following this I received passive aggressive whatsapps from the owner saying he was sorry I hadn't taken anything positive from the experience; then that I had only provided negative feedback (untrue); he would delete the group photo of me and that he didn't like my tone in the email requesting receipes. He wished me the best for the future then blocked me from the group chat and himself. I assume this means I won't get the 3 months of included training plans.

I think this is an extreme over reaction to a couple of suggestions intended to actually assist his business going forward and it has left a really bad taste in the mouth. Hence the lower score.

If you want to reboot your body GO!

If you want to reboot your body:set yourself new challenges or channel your fitness into new areas whilst in one of the best outside gyms in the world I would recommend Reboot for you. The whole team from instructors to your wonderful chef make sure you come away with new knowledge and new goals. A very motivational week whatever level of fitness you bring with you at the beginning of the week through to the twelve week training programme which follows up afterwards.

Great decision to book this. It was a last-minute decision and I didn't regret it one bit. The course was fun, hard work, and so well-designed to get the best out of everyone.

Most positive experience for all-round health and fitness

This 5-day course, which I completed in August, was the most positive experience of my life for nutrition, fitness and attitude - a complete immersion in all aspects of well-being, under an amazing team headed by the inspirational ex-para Mark Hooks, supported by Sel and the magician of the kitchen Sandie. Having had a very patchy history with exercise, sports and diet, I have found the the wrap-around programme - training plans leading up to and for 3 months after the camp - to be a framework I can commit to. Handing in the training sheets each week by email to Mark ensures you meet your goal as your continue being mentored remotely. During the week, the activities of the course were achievable by everyone there, whilst always challenging everybody - including the team events (hockey, basketball, field and track, power-bags), and individual challenges (e.g. runs, strength training, circuits, hill-sprints, boxercise). There is a strong focus on developing independence, whether stretching routines, making choices, or encourage goal-formation and commitment. The presentations on diet, fitness and mindset have been easy to apply. I have already been using the recipes provided on the course, and made some adjustments to my diet (whole milk, hydration, vegetables rather than fruit, 3 meals/3 snacks, avoiding processed foods). To change my goal from weight-loss to better overall strength, speed and endurance has also been an important change of mind, though I did also lose 5 lbs stone on the course! The most important aspect is the mind-set encouraged by the course - you are really spurred on by the leaders and the supportive mentality of the other attendees that they promote. I cannot recommend highly enough, to all levels of fitness and health.

it’s tough but worth it

I’ve just completed a week at reboot and have only positive things to say about it. First I would recommend that you take advantage of the training plan offer in the weeks before you arrive. I didn’t do it and regretted it because for those that did, their bodies were already adjusting to the fitness regime and so they were able to push themselves even further during the week.

There are several fitness sessions each day with ample delicious snacks and meals along with talks about nutrition, fitness and positive attitudes. The sessions are varied and an education on what you can do in and out of the gym. I was most impressed at how the week is organised; they know you will be hurting by Wednesday morning so there are lots of fun sports sessions in teams. Before you know it you’re warmed up and focused on the task in hand.

In any other scenario if my muscles were that sore I would have given up but there’s something about getting through it as a group. Everyone else is pushing themselves and you begin to realise that your body is capable of much more than you ever thought. All the sessions were able to challenge every ability too - not an easy feat but they found away to ensure every level of fitness is catered for. Add to that the beautiful scenery and encouragement from the instructors and I was feeling lucky to have the experience.

Everyone involved, Mark, Sel, Sandie, Herbie and Missy were completely invested in the group and just genuine, down to earth people trying to pass on their knowledge and help us improve our fitness. It’s by no means a walk in the park, they really pushed us but I’ve come away having had a great week with a great group of people. Finally, thanks to the after support from Mark, I can ensure it’s not just a one-off week but a real change in the way I exercise in the future. I recommend it.

I went to bootcamp the week after my dad died and after a really stressful couple of years while he was ill; I wasn't sure if it was the right time for me but after telephoning Mark and his response being 'when was the right time' I decided to sign up and go.

The instructors were friendly, worked us all hard but made sure that each day the activities suited all of us regardless of fitness and abiliity.

It was a great week, really helped me with my motivation and I have kept up my fitness since my return - big thank you to Mark and all the team.

I enjoyed it so much I went a 2nd time!! Although you don’t have to go back as they give you all the tools not to need to but you might just want to be rebooted. You will work hard but everyone’s encouraged to be the best they can be - it doesn’t matter if you are at the front, middle or back you will be supported by the great team. Food is all cooked fresh and is amazing you won’t be hungry. It’s the best for a reason- I will go back!
