Exactly the same experience as everyone…

Exactly the same experience as everyone else... These guys are a bunch of scamming cowboys - Di**cK Turpin is Mother Theresa compared to them. Thankfully, I did not have to use their breakdown service, but I changed my vehicle to a newer car, I still had 10 months on my policy to run and they wanted to charge me £59.00 or opt for a discounted policy at £44.00; all very shady. I then found out that the current policy was on auto-renewal. I requested that I be opted out of auto-renewal; according to them, this is impossible - they tell you that you should receive an email 21 days before the policy expires and only then can you opt-out!... has anyone heard anything more ridiculous? Eventually, made the decision to pay £9.99 and to cancel my policy. Checked these guys out on the FCA website, they are no longer registered and if you take a look at Companies House data on this Company you will see that they are just a bunch of scammers. Please please stay away, don't use them, pay a little more and go with a reputable Company RAC or AA.... I rarely wish harm on anyone, but the quicker these MF shut shop the better it would be for all of us.... They have no morals and are just a bunch of thieving toe rags.

Slow and rude

Just cancelled my policy after its 2nd year. The first time I needed assistance they took 5½ hours to reach me but they recompensed me so I gave them a go for another year. Now I've got a 50% hike on my premium with no breakdowns in the last year and when I asked why the rep was unbelievably rude and patronising. Go and cover your vehicle elsewhere.

I AM DISGUSTED

An appalling service. Beware of their auto-renew policy. They charge £6.99 just to cancel even before the new insurance period has started. Please avoid at all costs. I've written to the FCA and Financial Ombudsman about these cowboys. They have no moral compass and do not seem to care about the consumer. God knows what their actual breakdown policy is like if you end up making a claim.

And one star is too many!

And one star is too many!

What a dodgy set of thieving bast**ds!

With regard to changing vehicle on cover:
Policy cost £31, Cost to change to another vehicle £47!
or they will offer another policy at £37!
(amounts above relate to my vehicles of course)

Thought it seemed dodgy from the start! should have trusted my gut instinct!

DO NOT USE!

Find a reputable breakdown service for that little more!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Honestly do not touch this company. Paid on the 9th October for the start of the policy on 01 November.
Car broke down today, guess what...can't attend you because they require 3 days after the start date until they will attend....so many bad reviews. Do not touch this company. Had to pay £8.99 cancellation fee. Disgusting company. Gone with Green Flag.

The worst customer service ever

The worst customer service ever. I would recommend anyone considering joining them to go elsewhere, and anyone already with them to cancel immediately. They will auto-renew your policy without informing you, and increase the price, then they'll claim they sent an email, then they'll tell you to cancel you have to pay 8.99. All of their emails go to your spam folder, best place for them. Honestly, do not go with these, I hope they fold and all of their staff lose their jobs. I wouldn't usually wish that on anyone but talk to these and you'll see where I'm coming from

One star too many

I wish I could give this company no stars, they auto renewed my policy with no warning (almost 50% more expensive than previous renewals, I have never made a claim by the way) & they have just told me that I cannot cancel the auto renew without cancelling the entire policy so I have to cancel the entire policy and pay £8.99 for the pleasure of avoiding auto renewing at an inflated price next year

Tried to get my Daughters car recovered but first they want an extra £45 wince fee as it's a specialist task! called back and then it went upto £70 & I have to agree to them taking more money directly from my card as this is only an estimate!!!!!!!!!!!!

The cars broken down on a road, due to flooded road but now has all four wheels on DRY ground.... surely that's normal recovery!!!!

I feel that I have been ripped off and this company preys on peoples finances when they need help from the policy they have purchased, as a point of principle I would sooner pay more money to a local garage for recovery than pay this rip off company. I will never use again.

i purchased cover on Sept 13 2019.Unfortunately I needed assistance on the 10th of October. I contacted the company who assured me that I did not have a policy with them.I quoted my receipt and policy number without success. subsequently I complained and asked for a refund. e-mails followed requesting reg number and postcode. These were provided 7rl times in desperation I contacted my card supplier who are now trying to obtain a refund.I have taken out cover with another breakdown company. I would not recommend this company.

I wish I had read these reviews before…

I wish I had read these reviews before I took a policy out. Like others I received an email this morning to say they were taking 42.99 out of my account. I called and asked when my new policy was to start they said 7 days so I said I wanted to cancel it and they said there is a 8.99 cancellation fee! For what? I havent started the policy. I will take this up with my bank and get the money back that way as the customer service team are not helpful as previous review say. Stay clear at all costs!!!

Do not use recover cover

Do not use recover cover, they are scammers. they don't deserve one star. I had 1 call out I phoned for assistance and the man on the phone pretended to have bad English and supposedly sent the dispatch to a different location. They refused to resend an engineer to our location.

STEER CLEAR PLEASE

Not worth a star but unable to write this without selecting at least one. Total scam. I took out cover in June 2018 after finding them on MoneySupermarket. Never received an email of confirmation with policy no etc. Then forgot about it to be honest. In June 2019 they took money from my bank - 30% more than in 2018. The irony if you go to their website the home page states “no automatic renewal and we always look for the best price”. Anyway, I called the bank and they refunded me and sent a new card. 2 days ago I received a letter from Dynamo Legal staying I owed the money they deducted in June plus an additional admin fee - which was quite hefty - and if I paid within 3 days the admin fee would be waived. The letter was badly written and there was no address on the letter. The envelope had been hand written. There was no reference to the company or policy no etc. And this is 3 months later. Called them and asked for evidence. Turns out they send documentation to an iCloud email address. Irrelevant if you have given a different email address. They also cannot send original documentation, original emails etc. Absolutely appalled that such a company exists and is doing this to people. STEER CLEAR AT ALL COSTS !! I’m still awaiting a response to my request for proof. Have a feeling it won’t materialise. I’m going to report them they have to be closed down. One more thing. - I have never posted a review on good or bad experiences but this has really made me want to prevent them doing this again and again. Good luck.

DO NOT USE THESE CON ARTISTS!!!!!

DO NOT USE THESE CON ARTISTS!!!!!
Called them on a Sunday said that I didn’t have a policy with them after an hour of telling them I did and providing the correct details and policy number they said ‘you don’t have a policy’ after being trapped in a car with a baby for over an hour while they made my life hell they told me they would come out if I paid £90 there and then so I did as I had no choice. Trying to sort the refund out being hassle! Still awaiting to see if I do actually get the refund. I rang up and said I wanted a refund of my whole policy as they didn’t provide an adequate service they told me I wasn’t getting my money back as nothing in the policy was miss leading until he said to me ‘on Saturday and Sunday we’re not open so they can’t get hold of your details so your have to pay he £90 I continued to say where does this statement say this in the policy he told me it wasn’t. So I can get a refund then? I asked if he was recording this call he said no I had to request it so I there and then asked to record he refused and the reason he refused was because he had just messed up by telling me it wasn’t in there so it was intact miss leading. Further to this we will be contacting the financial Ombudsman and comparison websites to escalate this further.

Business is obviously run in a small building or even a shack with a couple of people.

Also to mention while on telephone at the start no welcome or introduction just asked for the ref which I didn’t know off by heart so the postcode given and bam into all my confidential details which they were discussing with me. Not actually knowing who I am.

SHOULDN’T BE TRADING!!!!!!!!

These people are an absolute disgrace!!!

These people are an absolute disgrace, verging on criminals for what they do to you. If I could give them a minus rating, that would still be generous. I had their cover but never used it, then when it came to renewal, they billed me without any notification. By this time I didn't even have the car anymore and had no need for the cover. I called them 11 days after they billed me to get my money back, but was told I was outside the 14 day cooling off period! Because to them it starts 'When we make the documents available to you, not when we bill you'. So basically a fantastic scam to get your money and claim you're not entitled to the refund. The customer advisor (Spencer) hahahahahahah sorry it's just so hard to call him a customer advisor, was unbelievably rude, sarcastic, arrogant and argumentative over the phone, I've never experienced anything like it, seriously, it was incredible. I then said well just cancel the policy and give me a pro-rate refund, the guy just said no. I said wlel just cancel the policy, the guy said it'll cost me £9.99 to cancel it! ahahahahah I asked to speak to a manage but again was just told no as he huffed over the phone at me. I then asked again and he said they were all in a meeting! ahahaha These poeple are nothing short of crooks and this scam business should be shut down immediately! I will now take this further with the regulators.

Do not use this company

I wouldn’t even want to give this company one star as it doesn’t deserve that.
They took money from my account 10 days before my policy was due to end with no warning, they didn’t even have my address. I had breakdown cover with the RAC running concurrently last year so unbeknown to me they must of done this last year. Apparently it’s normal procedure to just take money a month before you are due for renewal which I have never heard before.

The customer service team and extremely rude, sarcastic and unsympathetic and clearly do this to all their customers as the man I was dealing with let that slip! So it shows they have no morals what so ever.

Do not use this company. They don’t deserve any more customers and need to learn a thing or 2 about customer service.

I was passed to a ‘manager’ and the women actually hung up on me mid sentance after telling me I can’t have a full refund. No manager in their right mind would do this if they wanted repeat business.

I am shocked and never dealt with this lack of service before
