At first I didn't wanted to be this harsh, because the only issue was that the sercive is absurdely expensive and that it didn't work, even though on the PREVIEW PICTURES EVERYTHING LOOKED FINE.
But now I am already fighting for multiple days to get my money back according to their 7 day money back rules. But they find one excuse after the other of what I didn't do or what could have went wrong but that's simply not true. My guess is they want to push it past the 7 day threshold. But I will continue on via PayPal afterwards if I have to, because again: crazyy disproportionately expensive licensing

You have to pay just to find out…
You have to pay just to find out whether the files were recovered correctly or not; I can’t view them. I have to pay to see if there’s even anything there. They should at least let you check whether it’s worth paying to recover the images or videos stored there. This app seems more interested in taking people’s money than in helping them find what they’re looking for, especially since, if they’re using the system to recover deleted files, it’s because something has already gone wrong, and people are already too frustrated to have to waste time installing this program just to waste even more time and get absolutely NOTHING! I’ll never install this again, and I don’t recommend it to anyone!!!!

Very disappointing experience with…
Very disappointing experience with Wondershare Repairit.
I purchased the software to repair corrupted video files, but it completely failed, none of my files could be repaired. The product did not deliver its main function at all.
To make matters worse, the subscription was automatically renewed without my intention to continue. I only realized after being charged.
I contacted customer support to request a refund, clearly explaining that the software did not work, but my request was rejected based on their policy. This feels very unfair, as I paid for a product that provided no results.
Overall, ineffective software and poor customer support. I would not recommend.

Excellent for recovering deleted files from disk (any drive) even if you reinstall windows.. this software can help us recover them but its expensive

Wondershare Recoverit does not work
Wondershare Recoverit does not work; I just proved it by freshly deleting files and then emptying my recycle bin. It still doesn't work. I'm beginning to lose my patience with Wondershare. I also had a problem with the editing software that I had been using for years. There was no customer service or reply. Hundreds of dollars later … I will never download or use another Wondershare product again. And as the frustration of the failed software isn't enough, they send you notifications to upgrade when you already paid hundreds of dollars and it doesn't even work.

It's expensive but worth the try…
It's expensive but worth the try especially if you accidentally delete your photos in your SD card! also i think this is good if you have a business. You can include recovering photos especially in SD cards.

I had a SSD drive failure
I had a SSD drive failure. Windows was able to see it but would not allow me to open the folders under the user folder I need to restore. I searched for a number of programs which would allow me to recover them and this program worked as advertised.

iSkysoft customer abandoned after 11 years — by the same company
In 2014 I purchased iSkysoft Data Recovery Pro for Mac, a legitimate perpetual licence. My installation file became corrupted and I simply needed a re-download link — nothing more.
Wondershare's response was to tell me the product is "11 years old" and suggest I buy their Recoverit software instead. Here is what they conveniently omit: iSkysoft and Wondershare are not separate companies. They have always operated under the same corporate umbrella, sharing the same technology. In 2020, Wondershare formally absorbed the entire iSkysoft product line. They did not "acquire" iSkysoft — they were iSkysoft. The responsibility for honouring licences sold under that brand is entirely theirs.
I was not asking for new features, updates, or ongoing technical support. I was asking to re-download software I already paid for. That is a minimal obligation to a paying customer, and they refused it.
Their proposed solution: pay them again. The same company that abandoned its own customers is asking those customers to buy from them a second time.
I note that other iSkysoft customers have had their issues resolved by Wondershare support — so the capability exists. They are simply choosing not to apply it in my case.
I do not recommend purchasing any Wondershare product on a perpetual licence basis. Based on my experience, they consider that obligation void the moment it becomes inconvenient.
16 March update: Wondershare responded publicly (in German) asking me to contact them by email. I have already done so repeatedly — this is precisely the channel that failed to resolve my issue over several weeks. Their public response is performative. The matter remains unresolved.
