Thought I'd bin had, but couldnt be more happier.
I was looking for a decent bin, found Recycling Bins, price was eek but you know, thought you get what you pay for right? So you can imagine my dismay when the bin turned up in a disheviled box with a missing battery compartment... anyways, thats where the bad luck ended.
I immeditaly reached out to the seller who responded promptly, they appologised for the condition of the box, put it down to transport damage which is fair enough and within 48hrs the old bin had been collected and a new bin delivered which has been working fine ever since.
Post sales support was excellent.
I would definately use again.

Shame, I was almost delighted to have found this bin
I was delighted to have found this bin, which I regard as suitable for leaving in the garden, just outside the kitchen door. Its capacity is excellent, it looks, and is, of good quality. However, in use, I have discovered a design flaw - rainwater collects on lid, no surprise there - but, when I lift the lid, the surplus water runs into the inside of the bin from where the lid is attached to the base.

Looking at your order number, I can see you ordered one of our ZeroMax Kitchen food waste caddies. These bins are not advertised or designed to solely be used as outdoor bins, and therefore we do not suggest this use.
We understand that they are likely to be left outside for collection days and can collect water on days where there is heavy rain, but the lids are designed with a curve to reduce collected water and allow it to drain off.
Our advice would be to tip the bin forward slightly to allow excess water to run off the lid before opening, and this should prevent any water present on the lid from entering the bin itself.

We apologise that this has taken longer than anticipated to arrive. We do advise a 7 working day delivery time on these products as they are shipped directly from our supplier.
As your order came through on a Sunday evening this would have been processed on Monday 18th for dispatch on Tuesday 19th and is due for delivery on the 27th which is just outside our delivery timeframe and we apologise for the delay.

Great product
Extremely quick delivery and good product. I bought several five years ago, all still fine but had to order replacement as accidentally stood on lid and broke it. Did think about asking if could just buy a lid but thought probably not possible. I use them to keep all sorts garden stuff (large amounts bird seed, charcoal for BBQ etc etc) and they keep everything dry. Great bins, thoroughly recommend.

The overall experience was fine but…
The overall experience has been fine with reasonable delivery time and the quality of the products met expectations. However, they sent the wrong lid for the food waste bin. No big deal, these things happen, but the frustration is that I've not yet had a response from the company to replace the lid with the correct size. Until it's sorted, it means the food waste bin can't be used so I'm hoping to get it sorted quickly.

I looked into your order and I recall my colleague discussing this and I can see that we responded to your query about the lid on the same day that you emailed us and we sent out a replacement lid that day and it was received by yourself the following day.
Perhaps our response has not reached your inbox but I can see that we did respond within 4 hours and immediately dispatched a replacement which arrived next day delivery.
These bins arrive to us as one full piece and we haven't experienced this before so can only apologise that you received a faulty item but this was rectified as quickly as we could and hope that this is a satisfactory service.

Easy ordering and good range
The bins are great and just what we needed to revamp our recycling in school - providing a consistent bin and signage throughout the building. The website was easy to navigate and there was a good range of choice. The company are polite, professional and the ordering process was easy. Niggles were, our ordered stickers were not delivered and we had to chase them twice and we were not kept up to date with notifications regarding delivery. Both of these issues meant we had to chase-up the order.

In a time of chatbots, phone trees, emails that go nowhere and companies cutting human labour at every opportunity, Recycling Bins holds the line in still providing fantastic customer service.
On the site when choosing a bin there's chat windows that are replied to quickly by a real person that will have whatever answers you need-delivery is quick and communicative, we had a mix up with our lids and they resolved it quickly and effortlessly with no additional cost. The bins themselves are fantastic but I would buy from RB again purely for the quality service I am certain I would get.
The bins though arrive clean and unblemished, are easy to build and are a good value for money. Can't recommend enough!
