Amazing Helmsman Course !
Well what can I say. What a fantastic Helmsman course ! Roy was very knowledgeable about the course and certainly knew his stuff.
It was taken at a pace to suit everyone ! there were three on the course. Lunch was provided and breaks given !
A well worth course covering canal locks rope work and understanding your boat !
Excellent sense of humour which made the course fly.
Thank you Roy we will certainly be recommending you to others in the future x

Brilliant instruction
Having been to sea and had some merchant navy training, I am pleased to have taken the RYA Inland Waterways Helmsman's Certificate course with the charismatic Roy Fletcher.
I would widely recommend Reedley Boating Ltd. as a training centre for excellent conveyance of core concepts and principles, guided by a hand bearing the hallmarks of experienced practical seamanship and maritime knowledge.

The course was well delivered in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with the appropriate guidance and encouragement to enable the three of us to enjoy the training and become confident in what we were doing. Excellent training
Excellent training
I needed to do the Inland Waterway Helmsman Course as our narrowboat insurance made it a requirement. Roy made it clear that he would be able to fit me in very soon if required. I was able to fill a cancelation as it happens, with very short notice.
The training was excellent. Roy has a tremendous sense of humour matched only by his knowledge of boating. `The two day course spent on his lovely boat. Filled with thrilling anecdotes, sound advice and great boating tips was worth every penny.
You don't need look anywhere else, this course is superb,
