This was my first book and the collaboration on the Reedsy site was great. I was able to take my time and choose who I thought would work well with me. The writing and publishing system works well. I liked the guides and for once the "bot" help system was good.
If you are starting off on a writing career, this site is really good.

I give reedsy a high score because I genuinely like it and always use it.
I started with word, then went to docs, discovered reedsy and it's just stuck.
yes there's always room for improvement but credit where it's due, it's good.
The platform is so easy to use and appealing aesthetically.
Secondly access to help from a huge community of writers and other experts.
I also love the prompt challenges they do, it's super interactive too.
So yeah, definitely use reedsy.

Great writing website, highly recommended

Offers a great number of services from so many different industry professionals so you can really find what you're looking for. I was able to find someone who was really helpful for my project and could fit all the parameters of turnaround time, budget, experience, and expertise. The website itself is very well set-up and easy to use. I would highly recommend Reedsy for anyone from first-time novelists to the more experienced.

I'm an emerging writer with a couple of books to my credit. I've been going it alone with my writing practise and it can be a lonely slog at times. I'd written a cosy crime manuscript but wanted professional eyes on it and discovered Reedsy. So glad I did because I've been working with an incredible editor who's given me honest, practical and clear feedback that's making a huge impact on my manuscript. The process of finding the right editor could not have been easier and all payments and collaboration emails are managed via the platform which keeps it straightforward. Wouldn't hesitate recommending this to fellow writers - at any stage of their career.

Chris's interactions with me far exceeded my expectations. He is a great ambassador of the Company .Somebody needs to know they have a "STAR" there among them… you know, the kind of "Star "who doesn’t show up in the Movies or TV, but shines equally bright!

My experience highlighted the importance of clarifying service definitions before accepting an offer on Reedsy. I requested structural manuscript feedback, but the formal offer used broader “editorial assessment” language. Although I felt the final review lacked the depth I was seeking, the dispute team determined that it met their professional standards. Reedsy appears to evaluate disputes based on whether the contract terms were technically fulfilled, rather than whether the author feels the feedback was comprehensive. Authors should make sure all expectations are explicitly detailed in writing.

I've used several writing platforms, some of which no longer exist and shut down with little warning -- such as Figment, and Underlined. A big paranoia of mine as a result is losing my projects before I have the chance to back them up. Reedsy is incredible in the fact that it autosaves as you write. So if my internet goes out, or I close the tab by mistake, I can find relief in knowing I lost little to no progress. That alone makes it worth trying out, at least in my opinion.

The additional writing features are an incredible bonus. The find and replace and built in spellcheck are lifesavers, and there's still so many on the free edition I haven't had the chance to try yet.

I've used Reedsy for about four months, and I can honestly say I am very happy with my experience so far.

As a first-time author, finding the right illustrator felt overwhelming at first. Reedsy made the entire process so much easier and connected me with an incredibly talented illustrator. I hired Cat Charm, and she was absolutely amazing to work with! Her creativity, professionalism, and ability to bring my vision to life exceeded my expectations. I’m so grateful I found her through Reedsy. She is flexible and easy to work with which is a true definition for everything Reedsy!

Very disappointing experience.
I would not recommend this service.

The tools were not useful for me, but the real problem was cancelling the subscription.

There was no visible cancel option in the billing portal or account settings. Even the link provided by support did not allow cancellation.

Users should not have to email support just to stop a trial.

I used Reedsy for book coaching. The editor I found was super helpful with my outline. She had so many ideas and offered great feedback -- now I'm ready to write! The platform was attractive and easy to use, and I love how you could read reviews of each potential expert. I plan to use Reedsy during every part of the book-writing process.

Be careful with Reedsy. They do not support those who purchase services through their platform. An editor left me completely stranded with the editing of my book, and Reedsy refuses to respond, excusing themselves by saying it was in another language. Terrible experience. Please, look for editors with real, trustworthy, three-dimensional references

Reedsy provides a fabulous platform for writers to access professional support through services such as editors, designers, publicity and marketing. I was able to get quotes in a timely fashion and from a variety of professionals. All replied quickly and were clear in the services they offered. The copy editor who worked with me was supportive, quick, professional and happy for me to ask as many questions as I wanted. Truly a very supportive and professional company providing an excellent service.

I love using reedsy studio to write my book. I find it very easy to use and love features like boards where I can put notes about my characters and world making it so much easier to remember those little details. You can also set your own word writing goal which helps keep you on track, would recommend!

So many experienced editors to choose from. I've worked with three from Reedsy now. I've never been dissatisfied. My most recent was thoughtful, wise, and matter of fact. He exceeded my expectations.

As this was my first time using a platform like Reedsy, I was sceptical at first but I found the layout very easy to use. I love how it's easy to use and getting the updates about my daily achievements is a nice touch. I'm not a professional writer. It's more of a hobby at the moment but hopefully in the future with the help of a site like Reedsy I'll get published. I would highly recommend this platform to anyone seeking a start in their writing career

Reedsy Studio is shockingly good. Smooth interface, smart tools, and it actually makes the publishing process feel manageable. It’s the first platform I’ve used where I’m not fighting the software the whole time. I was able to format my book in seconds with their tool, making it EPUB-ready and print-ready for paperbacks. I also used one of their cover artists, and he created eye-catching covers that perfectly matched the vibe of my books. The covers look like they belong on the best-sellers shelf of a bookstore.
