I engaged the services of an editor for a manuscript that my minor son was writing. The editor I ended up working with was the perfect match. It was invaluable to have a professional weigh in, for a reasonable price, on a project that was/is so important to my son. I will be looking for more services on Reedsy as we need them.

This was an easy way to connect with trusted industry professional. I used it to get an editor to look at my manuscripts. I was able to filter the editors to suit my need, then look at their CVs and reviews to pick who I would like to collaborate with. I posted what I was looking for and picked a few people to invite them to submit a bid. I got 2 offers from editors I'd be keen to work with, one decline due to the timescales, and 2 that didn't response. I was able to interact with those who bid , before I decided which one to go for. The feedback i got from the editor I collaborated with was excellent, really helpful.

There is so much more that it has to offer than I can list in this review. The perfect tool if you are writing a book and don't know where to start. This app s what I use for writing everything. I use it for essays, poetry, world-building, and so much more. It is very simple to use and it is, in my opinion, the best writing website I've ever used.

It was so easy to upload my manuscript and get it prepared for both print and eBook. After fumbling through layout and sizing and margins with gutters on my own, trying Reedsy Studio was like bring given an easy button.

Whenever an issue arose in my dialogue with the professionals recommended by Reedsy, the Reedsy team responded immediately, and I always felt their support and efficiency.
While on Goodreads or other platforms you have to be extremely patient before someone responds, and the response is often incomplete or off-topic, the Reedsy team seemed very prompt and well-organized to me. Everything on their website is clear and simple, and the entire system is very well organized and customer-friendly. I will return to them for future projects related to my book!

I've really been enjoying Reedsy for writing my first book. It is very well organized and has many tools to help make your writing experience the easiest and most enjoyable it can be. I really enjoy all the book matter sections on the left hand side when writing. It shows you every part of your book in tabs so you can easily switch back and forth between whichever ones you need. The only thing I think I'd change is the one feature that is only excess able to people who pay for it. It shows you what words and phrases you've used the most and I wish it was free. Of course everything can't be free, but I think that feature would be useful to anyone writing, not just premium members.

I am so grateful to have found Reedsy! I have always aspired to be an author and began working on my novel over the last year. Andy Ross took my money (outside of Reedsy) but didn't do the job, in my opinion. My Simon & Schuster editor's advice proves Ross didn't do much and missed a critical issue - the book was simply misclassified - it wasn't in the PI genre but was a legal investigative thriller and merely needed a courtroom ending, among some minor things. Tell Andy Ross to return my money, or since YOU introduced me, Reedsy, perhaps you should refund me. After the book is published and the money comes in, I will hire an attorney to handle this issue. To the people who read this, I would not use them. To Reesy: I have photographed this message with a time/date stamp, so don't tamper with it.
