Highly recommended

Telephoned and was dealt with by a very helpful member of staff who took me through the order process. Posted frames away and all back with me 8 days later : To and from Kildare, Ireland. New lenses are perfect. Very reasonably priced, first class service.
Highly recommended.

Very Poor Customer Service

Very poor experience! Re-glazed two sets of frames to my latest prescription. Glasses are unusable, numerous emails to try and resolve with no response.

Thank you for the comments. Not quite sure who this customer is so it's difficult to know what went wrong.
We always try to reply to every email as long as we have the relevant information to be able to do so.
If the glasses are unusable, then you have the opportunity to send the lenses back for a refund.
It might be easier to call and go over the issues you outlined here so we can rectify.

The best since 2017 !!!!

The best since 2017 !!!!
I have been using Reglaze since 2017 and never had any issues. The only time I had an inquiry, I was attended to accordingly. I have always been satisfied with the quality of service I have been receiving since 2017.
However, what’s making me leave this review today is; They have a whole new level of 100% Customer Satisfaction and I am in awe.
I just received my glasses from my new prescription after 4 working days ! They have been thinned to perfection !!!
My optician quoted me £185 with my own frame including thinning of the lenses. I paid less than half the price with Reglaze !
They have never failed to impress me but this is phenomenal ! I am super grateful that I can own multiple pairs of glasses without breaking the bank thanks to this company

Have used this company several times in…

Have used this company several times in the past, usually great service. The last pair done, could not see through them without tipping head down. Things out of focus when looking straight ahead. Returned for rectification. Glasses returned with no difference. Originally assumed a fault with the new lenses. Once communication established Chris from Reglaze advised on potential causes and after having a second eye test found that original eye test (from should have gone to....) was wrong. Once root cause of the issue was established, Chris from Reglaze has gone above and beyond to help me rectify the issue. What a company, customer satisfaction is their priority!

As the director of the business, I'm a little alarmed by the review, we do many thousands of pairs of glasses every year. I'm not aware of this specific job, and surprised that after having used us many times before it's not come to my attention internally. We have a robust returns policy, so if you're unhappy with the lenses, you can return them and we will refund in full. I suggest you call me in the New Year so this can be resolved.

Happy return customer

This is the third time I have used this company over several years. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for re-glazing. Glasses were back with new lenses within 5 days of placing the order online.

Sales and service I give 5 Stars

Sales and service I give 5 Stars. Despatch and shipping I give 5 Stars. But response to a complaint completely unstaisfactory. I questioned why I needed to pay duty on my shipment to France. The item was a pair of prescription specacles that were of no commercial value as they were for personal use and could not be sold on. The response from the Company was a waiver of their VAT charge which did not cover half of the cost of the Duty. Also the the email sent was from no particular appartment and signed by an individual without any indication of his authority within the Company. I replied asking who this individual was and from which department and I clarified the discrepancy in the reimbursement. This exchange was four working days ago and I am still awaiting a relpy.

Thank you for this, we follow the procedure set out and advised by the royal Mail with regards to the completion of the forms for reglazed items sent internationally. Regrettably some foreign authorities still decide (though rarely) that there is duty to pay, we have no way of knowing or predicting this. We try very hard to make sure all the boxes are ticked without causing delays or returned parcels.

Pretty much faultless service. Bought some new frames from online shop which I wanted reglazed with varifocal transitions. Hadn't dealt with this company before so messaged on what's app with a couple of questions which they came back and resolved quickly. Glasses perfect when received back and no issues with vision quality. All round a great company with fab personal service from them. Am also getting another pair in new frames. Would recommend. Special shout out goes to Chris who patiently went through some details on adaptive mirror lenses for my future pair.

Absolutely 1st class service

Absolutely 1st class service! We have sent in 3 pairs now and all came back within 2 weeks and exactly as we ordered.
2 pairs of Tiffany sun glasses that my wife needed her prescription lenses in and one pair was frameless so we didn’t think they could do the design but yes no problem at all. We definitely use again.

Outstanding service

Outstanding service - I called up and spoke to Hannah - polite and knowledgeable - with great insight - I was under time pressure as one of their competitors had messed me about. Ordered with Hannah - paid express - 24 hour turnaround! They even called me once despatched to let me know i would have them before my holiday! I would have given a tip if i could!

TO BE CLEAR, THIS COMPANY IN NEW ZEALAND ARE VERY RUDE THROUGH EMAILS AND TRY TO MAKE YOU FEEL GUILTY.

THEY TAKE FOREVER TO ANSWER

AS THEY SAID "IF WASN'T MY COMPLAIN HERE THEY WOULD NEVER EVER FIND MY ORDER". SO YEAH, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IN NEW ZEALAND FOR BUSINESS.

THEY JUDGE PEOPLE AND ASSUME THINGS WITHOUT ASKING. I FELT LIKE THE WORST PERSON ALIVE IN THIS PLANET.

Excellent service at a fabulous price

Excellent service at a fabulous price. But more importantly, the 1st class after sales is what sets this business apart. The postman snapped the new glasses forcing the box through the letter box. The company repaired them and paid for the return postage, no charge, no quibble.

Used the service to reglaze my glasses…

Used the service to reglaze my glasses and paid extra for protected special delivery. When I recieved my glasses back the arm was incorretly fitted to the lens, it was left loose and wobbled. I telephoned them and was sent a basic postage delivery label (did not cover value of item) for them to fix again. I was told on email by Jack that it had been fixed. When I received my glasses for the second time I was shocked to see no repair had been done. What a waste of time! Was left without my glasses for weeks (1st sent box 5Oct2023, 2nd sent box again 12Oct2023, received unrepaired 19Oct2023). AVOID!!!

I was left with no faith in them to actually reglaze my glasses correctly

Saqib, thank you for the comments. So sorry for the issue you’ve had with the reglaze. The frame seemed fine before it was dispatched, it was completed the day after we received it and again when we received the frame back for review it was reviewed, completed and dispatched the same day. So we’re slightly at a loss as to how you’ve been without our them for weeks, the order was only placed 2 weeks ago! On both occasions we completed the reglaze quickly and we thought efficiently. You had commented about suffering with glare and we offered to change the lenses for a very cheap upgrade fee but this was declined. We are always here to help and will look at this again if you want us to.

We had them for a total of 3 days at the lab, on both occasions when they left here they were fine, we're quite happy to reglaze them again with the upgraded lenses, we've done this frame many times before without issue. We'll leave it up to you to decide.

Excellent Service!

Over the last 10 years or so, I’ve used these at least 3 times (could be 4!). Each time, the service has been excellent. My latest purchase was graduated brown prescription lenses to be fitted in some new Ralph Lauren frames I’d procured from eBay.

A day or so after sending the frames in, I received a call from a very friendly guy asking how dark I wanted the lenses (they were to be used as sunglasses). 3 days later, I received the glasses exactly as required.

An excellent, fast & extremely efficient service that I fully recommend.

When multiple companies told me it…

When multiple companies told me it couldn't be done Reglaze Direct told me they could. I desperately needed my Oakley sunglasses reglazed from my prescription, and as a competitive windsurfer with a competition the next week I needed these glasses done ASAP which was a particularly tricky job as they were wrap-around glasses as well.

Reglaze Direct not only did it on time, they let me know the status of my order at every step of the process which was very assuring.

I can't recommend these guys enough, top, top service

Big shout out to these guys

Big shout out to these guys ! Quality lenses absolutely spot on this is the second set of frames reglaze direct nz have provided and fitted new lenses in for me. super pleased with the service. First set the frame I provided broke when they were fitting lenses reglaze took it upon themselves to hunt down an identical replacement frame at no charge to me and delivered back to me complete with new lenses very happy with these guys totally recommend
