Awesome experience, would definitely use again. Placed an order which was half the price of a high street alternative. Box arrived which was too small for the glasses, so called and spoke wit... See more

Does do not use this service, terrible quality, arrogant customer service.
Does do not use this service, very poor quality! They send me back reglazed glasses, in terrible quality, gaps between glass and frame...the customer service ignorant, an unpleasant email by PayPal email.
Do not trust!
Excellent service
I have placed several orders with this company now and the service has been consistently excellent. When, with my latest order, I had difficulty in adjusting to my first varifocals, Chris took some time over the phone to go through my options and explain the position as well as my alternatives. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company (and have already done so to friends). Thanks for an excellent experience.
Bad varifocals, skimmed refund, argumentative, waste of time & money
Ordered varifocals after checking with them that they would suit my vision. Reading area was so narrow as to be unusable. I check with them again and was told I would get used to them. I suffered headaches for over a week before I gave up. Headaches, dizzyness, these lenses were totally unsuitable. Their website says they offer refund but they didn't refund the full amount, when I called to ask they only argued and got nasty with me. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
What a waste of time and money. Go to a real optician, these people don't know what they're doing and clearly care more about your money than your eyes.
Good service
Hope, my review will be useful for somebody, but this shop is really a good one. I don't like to buy such things online, but I can trust their assistance.
Look elsewhere...
Unfortunately cannot recommend. Ordered varifocals after chatting to a representative. Was advised to select Elite version with anti-reflection coating. Turnaround reasonable (around 10 days) but field of vision narrower than the cheapo Glasses Direct option even though the difference in price was almost double!! Queried whether or not I had in fact received the budget option by mistake and was advised to send back for a refund with no explanation whatsoever!! This I didn`t do due to the inconvenience involved. Best look elsewhere...Glasses Direct offer a better option for half the money...go figure!!
Purchasing and glazing service 10 out of 10
I can't comment on the quality of the lenses yet but the purchasing and glazing service was 10 out of 10. I dropped my glasses in the post and had them glazed (fitting the plastic frames very well) and returned to me within 2 working days! Very impressed.
Fantastic
Wouldn’t go anywhere else now, everything by first class post, very helpful staff,, with lens option not available on the high street. Tried mirror lenses this time look really good
Seriously impressed by Reglaze Glasses…
Seriously impressed by Reglaze Glasses Direct aka Ciliary Blue. I am v short-sighted with +9 and +9.5 prescription, so need extra thin lenses with the usual anti-scratch, anti-reflection etc lenses. I went to my usual optician, Optical Express, to ask how much it would cost to replace my lenses, using my existing frames and they quoted me £265 which seemed ridiculously expensive, and turnaround time of 10-14 days.
So I turned to the internet and saw Reglaze/Ciliary Blue had pretty good reviews, although some negative ones, and decided to give them a try. I got my prescription from Optical Express and got an online quote from Reglaze of just £110 which I accepted and paid. The box for me to send my glasses arrived in a couple of days. I then posted my glasses to them on a Thursday afternoon and my newly-lensed (I know that's not a real word) glasses were returned to me that Saturday, just 2 days later. Goid email updates confirming receipt of my glasses and then that my order was complete. The glasses are perfect, the prescription seems just fine to me and I'm incredibly happy I saved £155 and 8-12 days of being without my glasses. I'll be using this firm again and would happily recommend them.
Excellent, affordable service and very quick turnaround. Recommend.
I've just got my 3rd pair of glasses done with Reglaze Glasses Direct and felt compelled to write a positive review. I had my prescription input into 2 pairs of sunglasses and 1 pair of glasses and I'm really pleased with the results, and at a very reasonable price. I called them prior to my first pair being completed to talk through the options and they were very helpful on the phone.
Very quick turnaround too, just 2 days from being sent, to being back with me. Highly recommend and I will certainly use them again in future.
Thanks, keep up the good work!
Turned out alright in the end.

Poor Quality:
I have had my new lenses for about a month, after my previous 2 year old Specsavers pair finally received a scratch.
However the quality of the lenses or coatings seems to be significantly worse than my Specsavers pair. Despite being ridiculously careful with these new lenses, and using specially purchased microfiber cloths, they managed to pick up a small scratch within the first week. A month later and the other lens also has a scratch.
There is little more I could have done to be more careful with these lenses. They were always placed in a glasses case when not worn.
Based on this they are likely to pick up more scratches regardless of how careful I am and be unusable within 3-6 months.
Extra Charges:
Another issue that is worth mentioning was that as one of my eyes fell outside the maximum value available on the website form (I was 4.25 CYL they had max 4.00 in the form).
I emailed them before placing my order with a copy of my prescription to check that it was indeed possible - I was told it was not a problem. It wasn't until I had paid and sent in the glasses that I was contacted to say I would have to pay an additional £10 - a "Over CYL surcharge." All in this brought the price to £75.
Considering Specsavers had quoted me around £100 for the same reglaze. Once you account for the additional charge, and the fact that the previous the Specsavers pair's durability seems considerably better, I would have to say this appears to be a solid case of you get what you pay for... or much less.
Edit:
I was contacted very quickly and offered replacement lenses. This processes took a while, and there was some confusion. Apparently the replacement lenses had arrived, but I was not contacted for this to be made known. Once I finally was contacted, the turnaround for the replacements was very quick. Due to the hassle I was offered a full refund in addition to a pair of replacement lenses.
Very poor service
Very poor service. My reglazed glasses scratched within a few days despite using a micro fibre cloth.
Poor communication. Poor standards. Poor customer service. Trust me, don't use them.
Glasses didn't fit well and constantly smeared.
I looked at lots of other reglaze customers thinking these were the best but they're not. Try somewhere else.

Excellent service
Excellent service, we've used it a few times before and I have just received back a pair of reglazed reading glasses. It is such an easy and painless process and even with the Christmas post period, very quick. I once had a query via email when I lived abroad and their reply was prompt, courteous and very helpful. Highly recommended and saves me and my other half a lot by reusing perfectly good frames.
Faultless service in every aspect
Faultless service in every aspect. I was hesitant initially but the unreasonable high street prices motivated me to give them a try. Highly recommend. Will use again
